So...i want to get my fursuit made so that I may run around with it at AC...

My problem lies in the structure of the mask. I can handle sewing and furring it, and even carving most pieces of the mask, but it's getting it to fit together and not look absolutely silly...


It's going to be a partial, and the foot-paws and hand-paws and tail are not a problem...I'm just worried about head construction. Anyone have any basic ideas to make it go smoothly?

So...a more extensive journal when I'm feeling motivated.


But Wedding was mission success.  watercolorwolf and I are newlyweds.


And we are back on track with scripting. and drawing. and storyboarding for Black Ark.


We will have something long before the next AC.

And I'm taking commissions for tails and ears and handpaws...and possibly foot paws, if motivated. ...

Really anything but heads at this point.

In other news, Watercolorwolf and I are back to working on the script and concept art for BLACK ARK. I am revamping the script so he doesn't have to try to fit twelve ideas into one still shot...so progress there.

In other news, I'm teaching English to 9th graders...and they're enjoying it. We're reading A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM and for part of the classes, I had a few of them running about with giant furry donkey ears. :)


In other other news, I'm bummed that I cannot go to AC this year (It's always fun and my tails then get notice, which is nice), but happy about the reason. My wedding, to the aforementioned Watercolorwolf is just about two short weeks after AC and we can't afford to go this year. ...Next year, on the other hand, we'll be there.

AC is a mere few *days* away...I cannot wait...at all.

I'm going to try to snag a table at Artist's Alley in order to sell tails and ears...and if I stop being lazy maybe some paws...


And to help out my growing doodle-abilities...I'm hoping to be able to make little chibi badges for sale...but we'll see...

I'm still taking commissions for tails and ears and paws--yes I'll but tail pictures up by this weekend! And hopefully some ears too as I have them done I just need to have the commissioners model them for me.

Anthrocon is somewhere are 72 days away--AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
So I have to get crackin' on product....as soon as school gets out for the semester....

My fursuit head is starting to take shape thanks to the carving done by  watercolorwolf which is exciting as all get out...so within the next few days, I'll be ordering fur!

And last, but certainly not least at all....This Saturday (April 12th, 2008) my boyfriend proposed to me and I said yes (quite energetically I might add!) so I am engaged! *Dances*

Finally got the new computer!

YAY!


And I'm now working on some paws for some people local in Fred-town as well as...within about 20 minutes...working on the foam carving for my first ever fursuit head. Pictures will be taken. In abundance.


I'll also be working on a few sets of ears for a friend who wants them for some sort of photo shoot...which is awesome..

 watercolorwolf and I are resuming hardcore comic stuff so hopefully there will be more Black Ark on the horizon!

In a few days, things are going to get really crazy with classes starting up again, work...and preparing for screening to get into student teaching....


I'll be super busy, but loving every bit of it.


Once I have my new computer, I'll be able to write more and actually get more stuff up here. Should be a blast!


But for now, it's cold and icky outside so I'll be inside as much as possible, unless I can invest in a couple of sled dogs to get around town.

I'm officially opening commissions for dream catchers--various sizes means varied priced. Also, I'm opening commission for things like paws...and soon, thenings like footpaws and tails!

In other news, I'll be starting my own partail suit--a tigress--so on my agenda is footpaw--which are already started, paws/arms, possibly an upper body shirt, and then the head, which my lovely boyfriend, WaterColorWolf, will be helping me with once I get my hands on some foam. Should be a blast!!

Yay crafts!


I'm finishing up some starter dream catchers and waiting on some more money to come in (paycheck wise) so I can get fur to start making more paws...


I wonder if I'll be able to sell paws and tails and dream catchers at Anthrocon....or even before it...


Hmm.

So..I'm now embarking on a journey to craft paws (hind paws and forepaws) and tails...and once I have some cash...heads---


So....I'm hoping to be able to craft a partial suit (Not even for me...) But it's a lot of fun and once I get a few paw-gloves made, I'll post them up here!


My first set of paws (def. a practice set...but still pretty cool) came out nicely, but I still need to add claws and pads!

And I ordered some rings for dream catchers---AC is months away, but I'm hoping to get some stuff to show!! Wish me luck!

I don't want to work on comic stuff at this moment, but I want to write.


I need a bit of inspiration...a word, a phrase, a color, anything...to get me started.

Busy busy busy!

As stated in  watercolorwolf's journal, he and I will be working on our own webcomic. Our artforms will join up and he'll draw my writing and I'll write his drawing. It is in the early stages, but within a short period of time (artist's time, of course) we should have up character sketches on his page and their bios on mine.

Wish us luck and pay attention for new sketches and eventually some panels!

Things are looking in a constant state of up.

I'm exicted about a project I have in the works with the wolfie...and everything is just wonderful.


Part of me wants to write a story about the anthrocon experience...and I just might. It'd make a nice non-fiction piece!
