Where's muh Daily Dose?

Some of you might be wondering where's the daily dose of fur.
The answer to that is that I'll likely not do these daily anymore. I've picked up a new practice and I'll be using the time I used to draw the daily picture to study those topics.
For those wondering, I'm currently studying lips, teeth and mouths, as well as dragons and lizardpeople.
I'm picking specific areas of the body I have trouble with and
For now, all I'll have are rough drafts and practice stuff. I'll post those here on my drafts on occasion.
Occasionally i'll still draw one or two of those a week. It's a fun series, but takes me some time. I started doing it to get better at incorporating simple backgrounds into the pictures.
I kinda got that down to some extent and so I'm shifting my focus to other areas that I still need to improve at.
My goal is to polish my rendering and to better make use of light to show forms.
So right now, I'm drawing portraits and headshots of my characters. I might even open up cheap commissions for those!
The goal is to get better and faster at rendering faces. Once I deem I'm good enough at that, I'll probably shift my focus again. And again ;P

New commission types and changes to existing ones
Posted 8 years agoI updated my commissions and the types I offer to be clearer, easier to understand and less wordy.
I removed black and white sketches and replaced them with speedpaintings. These are cheaper and are of a good quality level.
I also made changes to the pricing to be clearer and so give you a better understanding of how much your commission would cost.

100 watchers! (Raffle inside)
Posted 8 years agoHey people! I just checked and I got past 100 watchers (102 at the time of writing this journal) and I figured I should follow the tradition; Which means a good ol' raffle!
First of all, Thank you so much for the support~ It's a small milestone, but a milestone nonthless!
Here are the rules for entering:
First, you must be a watcher. You can be a new watcher if you want; but please, if you're going to watch, do so because you enjoy my content, and not to just join the raffle and unwatch later.
Then all you have to do is comment here with a random number that hasn't been picked before from 1 to 100 with a reference (preferably a reference sheet) of the character in question.
I'll draw the picture next monday, instead of my daily drawing. You have until sunday to enter. I'll draw your character in whichever way I think fits best and will likely be SFW.
And here is an interesting twist: If you bring a friend and they win, I'll draw both characters together. So if someone shared this raffle with you, write their name and link their character's reference along with yours!
The more people you invite, the more chances you have to win~

Small Hiatus
Posted 8 years agoI recently stopped working on my commission queue temporarily and, really, on most kinds of finished projects.
I have been studying some topics about coloring and design with color, since It's a topic that has tricked me over and over, and I think it's finally time to tackle rendering and coloring indepth to try to better understand and do these areas.
That being said, For everyone in the queue, sorry~ you might have to wait another week before I start working on your projects. But when I do start them, I'll make sure that they're on a higher level than anything I've done before.
