Posted 4 years agoJust as a heads up, I will never approach anyone through notes about selling a YCH or commissions unless we explicitly talked beforehand about it.
There's a user with a name/account that looks much like mine (one letter off) with the intention of trying to sell a past YCH of mine, seemingly to people that had commented on said YCH at the time.
I'm trying to have their account taken down, but I believe this person has probably been doing the same thing with other phony artist accounts, and will continue to do it with others. Please be cautious if an artist you follow, seemingly messages you trying to sell you something. Check their profile to make sure they're the real deal before sending any money, and if not, try to report them and notify the real artist.

Posted 4 years agoHey all, sorry it's been a bit since I've really drawn or posted anything. I think I just really burnt myself out and wasn't enjoying what I was drawing. I wasn't happy just constantly doing commissions, because I felt like I never had the motivation to draw my own characters. I also feel like more people might want to see art of my own character, than random commisisons all the time, but I never felt like I could afford to not draw something that wasn't a commission.
Looking at this account now, I just am really unhappy with it. I'm unhappy with my username, my whole gallery, and I just overall want a fresher start, where I focus on myself and what I want to do. I don't plan on taking commissions at the moment, unless there's particular characters that I want to draw, or I'm doing art in return for an item (coughpokemoncards), or I have a sketch I want to sell as a YCH. But for the most part, don't expect any openings in the foreseeable future, I just really want to love drawing for myself again, especially since I love my characters.

Changes to the Public Commission Stream Tomorrow

This weekend’s commission stream is going to be switched up a bit. I want more practice with black & white sketches, and I would also like to do artwork for more people this time around. So this weekend’s stream will offer only the B&W sketches for $55 each, this will let me do more sketches for people than I normally would, since it takes considerably less time to do these than the colored sketches.

This is because I'll be out of town at MFF, and won't be able to work on commissions during that time. Medium Detail Commission Forms Now Closed! Thank You All!
Posted 7 years agoThe forms are now closed; thank you all so much for these amazing commission ideas!I will begin combing through the submissions and deciding on my top 3 choices. Once they have been decided, Lothar32 will be contacting those selected for this round to collect payments. Keep in mind that these commission slots will open again this Saturday, and every Saturday this month. If you selected to have us save your commission form if you aren't picked this time around, then you will not need to fill out another form when these slots open again on Saturday.

Medium Detail Commissions Opening This Weekend!
Posted 7 years agoHappy Tuesday everyone!November is right around the corner, and this weekend marks the start of new commission openings, as well as fully implementing the work schedule that Lothar32 I have worked on over this past month. It's our sincere hope that you all will enjoy these new changes to make things more balanced, and give people a greater chance at getting a commission.
So what's next? This Saturday evening after the end of the Public Commission Stream, we will be opening the forms for Medium Detail commissions! Additional information on this category can be found here: CaffeinatedCreep. The Medium Detail commissions will, since it is our test run of this new schedule, be open to everyone this month. These slots will open every week on Saturday evening with the forms closing on Monday. The expected completion of these commissions is the end of the week, in time for the next round of openings.
For all the upcoming commission openings in November, the slots will be hand picked by me, and will not use the raffle system. The primary reason why we are doing it this way for November is to allow me the opportunity to get some diversity in the themes, ideas, characters/species that I will be drawing so that I can expand my gallery so that it appropriately represents the breadth of my skills as an artist. To help encourage this, I have come up with a list of ideas that I would really like to draw and have as a part of my gallery. Commissions that utilize these will receive greater consideration than those that don't use these species/themes/concepts etc.. That list is below:
Ungulates
Dragons
Kangaroos
Fantasy clothing/armor (additional charges may apply)
Females (cis/trans/intersex)
Dobermans
Humans (or human-esque)
Monster hunter
Underwater scenery
Apocalyptic scenery

Public Commission Stream Rules/FAQs

Good afternoon everyone! This journal is to answer questions, as well as set expectations and rules for both the upcoming Public Commission Stream, and all future public commission steams!
─────────────────────────────────────────Each month, I hold public commission streams for the first three Saturdays of the month, so that non-patrons have the chance to get sketches and icons from me. The last Saturday of the month will be a patron exclusive commission stream. These streams start between 8am and 10am EST. The following FAQ's/Rules are to help keep the streams organized, smooth, and civil. Please be sure to read it through before the stream, so that we're all on the same page.
Before you submit a commission form in the stream, you MUST read my T.O.S here: Terms Of Service
⦁ How are Public Commission Streams handled, and what commission types are offered?
Those interested in getting a sketch commission, once the announcement is made in-stream at the end of the raffle timer, just need to say "me" in the stream chat to be entered into the raffle. Please note: Do not use any punctuation or other words when you say "me", otherwise Picarto's raffle system will not recognize your entry. Once all those interested in getting a slot have spoken up, the raffle will begin and select someone at random, and that person wins that commission slot. That person is then contacted by my manager via in-stream whispers to collect the details of the commission, as well as their payment. Please be aware that if you are not able to be contacted within 5 minutes of winning the slot, it will be forfeited and re-raffled off to a different person, no exceptions.
The commissions that are available during streams are:
Black & White sketches for $55usd - If you have received a B&W sketch from a previous stream, and you are selected for another slot, you may opt to have that sketch colored. The fee for coloring a B&W sketch will range depending on the complexity of the character in question, starting at a base of $15usd, up to as high as $35. This range is determined by myself based on how long I feel it will take me to finish your piece.
Please note the following for the Sketches: these will be primarily artistic freedom. You may give my manager several prompts, such as SFW/NSFW/Tasteful nudity, pose suggestions, or an action that you'd like the character to be performing. Nothing too precise or specific. These will not usually include background object/props, unless the idea is basic enough that it can be done in a short amount of time. This will be done at my discretion.
⦁ What are the rules of the commission stream?
To start, you must be present in the stream in order to participate in the raffle. If you are not able to be contacted within a reasonable amount of time after winning the slot, your slot will be raffled off to the next person and will not be held- no exceptions.
All commission details, questions, payment, and corrections/live feedback during a commission stream must go through my manager Lothar32 (Picarto.tv name is Thornbird) and not to me directly. I have my whispers disabled for these streams.
Everyone is expected to behave in a civil and friendly manner towards all participants in the stream. This is including, but not limited to respecting a character's (Or their owner's) gender/gender identity, sexuality, design, and the content of the commissions being worked on during the stream. Any derogatory/insulting/inflammatory remarks made against anyone in the stream will be grounds for being banned from the stream and barred from commissions moving forward.
Let me emphasize following, as this trend has become more prevalent in recent history: If the content that is being created/worked on does not appeal to your sexual preferences, tastes, or sexual orientation, that does NOT make it okay for you to demean/belittle it or make "Eww", "gross", "Ewww, lady/man bits" etc. comments in relation to it. IT WILL NOT EVER BE TOLERATED! You will not even get a warning from me or my manager, you will simply be removed from the stream immediately and barred from participating in any further commission streams, and possibly any commissions period. There is no justification for this behavior. We're all adults, and if you can't simply appreciate artwork at face value, even if the content is not tailored to your sexual orientation, then frankly your presence will be short-lived at best.

Posted 7 years agoHey everyone! Hope you’re all enjoying the upload spam the past few days. You guys can all thank Lothar32 for that! We’ve actually decided to team up recently, so he can help me manage organization, business, media and etc so that I can focus more on the drawing, and less on the business and posting stuff. Things grew a lot faster than I was expecting in the past 2 years since I opened this account, going from 100 watchers to 11,000+, and I ended up becoming a bit more reclusive and failed to post much of the art that I was getting done (which is why I hardly uploaded to FA anymore), and there’s still a LOT I have to learn about being a full time freelance artist.
So my good friend is gonna be helping me out from here on. I’ve disabled my notes since they were just getting too out of control and have become an unreliable way of communication for me. If you have any questions, you can direct them to Lothar32. I’ll also more than likely be deleting my public telegram account since it’s getting too many messages and it’s just unrealistic for me to reply to them all. As much as I want to interact with everyone that wants to be my friend, I really just can’t. It takes a lot of time and energy for me to be social through messages, and that time and energy needs to be put towards making art!
I do have a discord server that’s the best way to kinda hang out and talk when I have the freetime, and I’ll post announcements and art there as well, and I occasionally stream on Picarto where and when I’m the most active with talking with people!
(People have asked if I have a telegram channel to follow, and while I don’t have one set up right now, it has been something in consideration)
As for actual commissions and such, most of them are opened through Patreon at the moment, but once I become a bit more organized and Lothar32 helps me find a routine that works, I do plan on having more commission opportunities available to the public. For now though, I do public stream commissions on the fourth weekend of the month (usually on saturday).
I also feel like I have to stress this. Do not harass my manager. If anyone gives him a hard time, harasses him, insults him, tries to manipulate him, etc, you will be blacklisted and blocked. There’s no tolerance for that here.

Posted 7 years agoHey guys! I was away all day yesterday so for those that have submitted a form for the booty YCH pieces,
I haven't started on any of them yet since, well, I was away all day yesterday LOL
My little brother is graduating high school on the 17th, so I'm gonna be making the 8 hour drive to go see
him and my family and whatnot over the weekend, so I may be difficult to contact so if you have any
concerns about the status of your commission (non-booty YCH commissions), you can check out my
Trello or any questions, email me at enro_the_mutt[at]yahoo.com
As for all the ass YCHs, I should have the ability to do those while I'm out of town on my old iPad, I just ordered a
stylus so hopefully it'll work out because it would be really nice to be able to draw/color to some extent while
out of town (I really need to get one of those surface pro things).
BUT YEAH that's about it for updates, I'm gonna continue to work on my queue once I get back, and I'm in
the process of setting up monthly commission streams, for patrons and the public, and the public stream
will possibly be the last weekend of every month, so keep an eye out for that!

SO Just a quick heads up, Currently I'm just doing commissions through patreon for the people that have been supporting me this far.
After A month or few, (or occasionally in between) I'll open up some public commissions, and if you want an email notification when I'm
opening those up, you can subscribe 》HERE《 and I will send out emails about openings
a day before I post it to FA (if I post it to FA at all).
As for the people that submitted an application for my commission form the past month or so, I'll be clearing out all the applications
that i have left. I actually got WAYYY more submissions than I was actually expecting, considering that I didn't post a public update or
anything so that became a bit overwhelming, so I'm sorry to everyone that I couldn't accept for a commission! Please understand!
