For those not following on the hurricane Irma news it's now a category 3 hurricane. Last I heard it's going along the west coast of Florida and that's what it looks like on maps I've been regularly checking. I'm in central Florida so if it stays west I'll be fine. If it goes up the middle then maybe I'll worry a bit more but for now I'm sure we'll be safe where I live. The hurricane won't come to use until tomorrow afternoon. So tomorrow morning I'll keep checking on the hurricane for any changes. I'm with my family. Everyone's staying at my dad's house during this. Hopefully we won't lose any power during the storm. I'll try to keep friends notified on discord about my situations.

The hurricane is now a category 5 and I'm not sure if my city will be in the direct path of the hurricane. If I'm lucky we'll just get heavy rain and winds. I'm just giving you guys a heads up in case something does happen and I'm unable to get online.

Lots of crap is going on so I can not do any streams for a while. In short I pretty much may lose the house in two days so everything has to be packed by tomorrow just in case. You may not hear from me for a little while after tomorrow.

Heyo. Just came back from hanging out with my dad. We’ll be hanging again early morning tomorrow. We were going to see a movie tonight at the mall but the showing times was going to be late. We checked a few stores instead. He got me Dragon Ball Seasons 1, 2, and 3. That was pretty awesome of him. I would have gotten a few more DVDs but we mistook what the sale was about. We thought we could get DVDs as buy one used get one used for $1. But that was only for DVDs with orange stickers on them.

I may also eventually move in with him to Florida. Not right away because I want to spend time with my family here before I go but I have been thinking about for a while and I feel it could be a good move. Might be a fresh new start on my life. I could also be able to do streams without worrying too much about kids in the way but we’ll see.

I have been okay during these times. It does get lonely here if I stay at the house by myself but I have been okay. My family has been worried about me being alone and I know you guys have been too. Thank you all for caring and thank you all for the well wishes. I’ll do my best to better myself in 2016 and I’ll try my best to draw whenever I can as well.

December will be the last month for the $10, $20, and $30 tiers. After that I will have to get rid of them for the time being. For those who don't know my grandmother has recently passed away. Her funeral is this Thursday. I can not live in this house alone which means I'll eventually need to move in with another family member. I do not know what the exact outcome will be in this situation but I will not have the time to work on much art for a while. More specifically I will not be able to work on NSFW art for a while. Especially the fetish stuff that I usually draw. It would not be fair to have those tiers up and not be able to provide the art to you, especially with the backlog of art for the previous months.

What I will do is try to work on owed pieces when I can. That way I can clear up this back log of stuff. And I'll turn my Patreon into mostly a tip jar sort of thing. If it's possible at all for me to do commissions I may try to do those once in a while after I clear up some of or all of the backlog of stuff I need to do.

The $1 and $5 tiers will stay but you guys are freely able to donate how much you want to. Any amount could still help me out.

I want to thank you all for supporting me for this long. I could only hope I'm able to get back on my feet and do more for my Patreon again. For now I'll still try to make more Pure comics and I'll try to do regular sketches from time to time. I'll also see about getting to that backlog of work I need to finish up.

Yesterday evening my grandmother had passed away during surgery. I'm not sure how this will effect my life just yet but I wanted to let everyone know that things will be slowed down here art wise until this whole situation can be figured out. Please take care of your loved ones and yourselves.

I'm way more active on my tumblr and I even give out updates to a lot of things. It's just easier for me to be social there but a lot of people don't follow my tumblr. I sometimes get questions here or in my other galleries that I may have already given an answer to on there. So I'm going to give a little update about what's been going on in my life and why it seems some art uploads (mainly commissions or patreon work) has slowed down.

There's a lot going on at home that involves health issues for my grandmother. She's terribly sick that she needs to go to the doctors at least once a week for surgery/treatment. I'm the only one at home so it's my duty to take care of her when I have to. Of course other family members help out too but they can't be here 24/7. I have the responsibility to help out around the house and to help her when she needs it. Then there's my little cousins who usually come to stay over during the weekends. Given the types of content I draw I obviously can't work on these things when they are around. These are just a few things to keep me from working. Others being no privacy at home, chores, random family visits and on top of this the stress I tend to put on myself.

I'm not telling you all of this to make excuses for my slow work. I'm just given you guys an idea on why things have been taking a while to complete. These past few months have been pretty bad and stressful that finding time to work on commissions or patreon rewards has become sporadic. Worse because these things have been piling up so now I have a backlog of things I need to do. I will do my best to complete them but it will take some time.

For those who don't follow my tumblr I mentioned that I'm currently having a serious issue involving my portable hard drive. I'm going to copy and past my latest post about it for you guys to read up what's going on.

What really sucks about this is that I’m not sure which commissions, or art in general, may have been affected badly by this. I think for the most part all of the finished commissions have been uploaded with the exception for one. Some of the others I haven’t started yet so I’m not worried about those being an issue. But unfortunately that one commission I’ve been working on this week may be lost. That’s a lot of progress just down the drain if I can’t recover these files. The other artwork that may be affected are a lot of the personal ones people have seen me streamed but never finished. The LoZ one or the one with my characters as Inklings for example.

I had no way of backing these files up because that portable hard drive was my only one. I hadn’t saved any art files to my SSD because I was told it’s not a good idea to save files like that onto there. I had plan on buying another portable hard drive a while back but with so many set backs happening where I need to replace things or paying bills with the little money I have. Even worse when you think you have a break from the bad and purchase something for yourself only to have this kind of shit happen soon afterwards.

I’m already going to be pretty busy this month. I got some Patreon stuff I need to work on plus a few commissions. One of them is even a big project for a website. I was even able to break the $200 milestone on my Patreon so more Pure comics will happen. I have a lot on my mind right now and this hard drive issue isn’t helping.

I'm making this journal because people never see my "I don't do requests" messages. It also doesn't help that it's also usually hard to notice on every profile page.

I get requests in my comment sections or through private messages far too often. It's okay for people to suggest characters but not in the comment sections. Those should be for commenting on the drawings. I get messages like, "Draw this character eating or getting eaten by this character?" Unless you are commissioning me, as in paying me money to draw, please stop. It can get frustrating when you see your art has a comment on it only to find people asking for free art. Don't do that. Drawing is time consuming, and my followers who watch me stream can attest to that. You're asking people to take hours or days out of their lives to draw you something for free. Many artists depend on commissions to pay bills or buy groceries. If artists are accepting requests they will let you know.

Sometimes I'll ask for characters in my streams and I may draw them. But I usually only ask for names and nothing more. Sometimes I'll see an idea in the chat and if I like it I'll sketch it. I only draw sketches when I ask for name suggestions, not full colored images.

tl;dr Unless you are paying for it don't request me to draw you free art.
