... your furry porn gets momentarily projected at work. On a giant screen. Inside an international bank. In front of 50 people. This is the kinda stuff that ruins careers, but luckily, iPhoto displayed the porn in a series of thumbnails, so viewers couldn't figure them out before I unplugged my laptop and ran away from the auditorium screaming.

That's the last time I bring my home laptop to work. Lesson learnt.

i went to one over the weekend. i had been posting in the furrypino group intermittently for over a year, thinking they didn't have a scene. new buddy called aen hooked me up.

was a chilled out session in the mall -- went to an arcade and then pizza hut (furries do the same things, anywhere you go).

So, FC has left me feeling a bit sad. My trip was bittersweet, but baller. I flew in straight from a dork conference in DC to the convention with no clean attire left in my baggage, save my 'summer walf' collection of anthro tees and khakis from BKK. Wrong season, but still gotta rock it.

Gonna keep it short: Missing  sabredragon  r-mutt  birds + few more i wish i got to know a little better, like  weaselr & lumi(?) -- the fella rockin the rad tiger suit @ frolic & smoking with us outside in the gardens. without you guys my FC exp. would have been flat, for sure.

I hope to see yall soon and kick it on simple terms. I'm back in the islands now, surrounded by a new crew of seemingly nomadic animals: goats, pigs, carabao, chooks & more. Sometimes the odd kingfisher.  birds: i'll be sending you periodic dumps of the creatures living in my neighbourhood, as promised! Also, I'm shocked the hyena went into auction! He was so CUTE. UGH.

I don't know how well known the artist is, but 'Markus Pierson' has been painting and sculpting dogs in suits for over 25 years, known as the 'Coyote Collection.' I'd come across his work inside a Chuck Jones Gallery outside Comic-Con, snuck some photographs in and finally got to researching him online. And blow me down.

He's nailed the anthropomorphic form down to a fine art, and by principle, probably understands it as much as furries do without even knowing it: "The Coyotes are a metaphor for people. They are a symbol of your reckless of wild side - a symbol of persing your dreams, wearing your heart on your sleeve, and celebrating all of life's ups and downs."

I'm in love.

I could change my mind, but on my assignment briefing of sorts, I've had the privledge of meeting dozens of esteemed, inspirational youth ready to change the developing world through their professional means. I'd love to go to places like bangladesh, laos, mongolia and indonesia to see how they're all doing, and that'd take a hit on my annual leave. The whole past week has reminded me what it means to live and to be frank, furry fandom and cons seems irrelevant.

I just came back from a trip with my groupie to Fraser Island. I planned the trip on my own and some things threw me back -- speeding on a beach highway in a race against time to avoid high tides, rationing supplies (as it's a remote wilderness area), fixing a busted tyre, failing to pass over what i'd call an impassable inland track -- it's all part of the 'adventure' i suppose. anyhow, many a dingo i came across, some of which went up to our vehicle. was funny shit to see the girls of the crew sprint into the suvs, even though it's the wrong thing to do in a dingo encounter.

if anyone passes through L.A in future (WITH A CAR), do yourself a favor and drive 10 miles east of downtown L.A to alhambra (i went there to pick up some cheap goods from ross -- hwood pardy prereqs). the place might look like middle america under southern californian skies (filled with arcadia type azns; the conservative + studious ones =/), but it's got a hidden gem for us furries...

the moment i walked into nucleus, i knew i was prepared to drop a lot of money in this place. it's not just your typical kidrobot/joe ledbetter/munny art emporium, it's got a STACK of art/apparel/journals from leading dreamworks/disney artists that just flood the gallery space with MURRRRRRRRY ART. i even managed to find some illustrative guides on how to draw and perfect the anatomy of cartoon animals! for a place where professional anthropomorphic art is celebrated chk out

I left NY a few days ago (SO SAD TO BE LEAVING A BUNCH OF ADORABLE PEOPLE)... and got plonked in socal, which is my second home. i know where everyone and everything is + i know how to have fun in this town, unlike many failed tourist tards that dismiss LA as america's megalopolian-cesspool (i won't argue).

anyway, a friend of mine who was on survivor invited me to a reality-show reunion party on catalina island over the weekend, and it was alright -- lots of shit happened though, so getting back to land, i'm finally starting to get into some serious downtime after, like, 2-3 weeks of EXCESSIVE PARDYING and DRANKNESS.
