Posted 16 years agoOOC: Hey all, it's the fellow who plays Captain Jack -- 
tauakhera -- just giving a heads up about AC to those who were expecting the old Captain.
Unfortunately , he won't be showing up. Due to a sporadic work schedule as well as some prosthetic and costume re-working -- I need to steal moar from work, lulz -- Jack will be absent. Alongside that, I don't feel like driving 14 hours from Florida to PA just to bring a costume, when someone's already paying for my plane ticket ...and you have no idea how difficult it is bringing a pirate costume ( aka sword, gun ) on an airplane.
I know this isn't as interesting as interacting with the Captain himself, but I'll be there as , well, me, for a couple days before I have to head back to FL to work again.
So if you wanna hang out or talk or drink or whatev with the guy behind the pirate, come say hi. I'll give my phone number to those interested. It'd be nice to meet people outside of the makeup and such.

Yet Another Annoyance
Posted 17 years agoIt is with a heavy heart that I inform those who offer a semblance of concern that I will be unable to attend MFF this month.
That's a right nuisance it is.
As it turns out, I will most likely be dry docked until FWA . You may blame my currently dismantled rudder for that consequence. Ships are fickle bitches, aye?
In any case, I miss interacting with the masses here. I hope betelguese has still been keeping you sufficiently entertained.
On the bright side, Pirates of the Caribbean 4 is on the far far horizon, but it's still residual checks for me and that's all bloody brilliant.

Nevertheless, criminals are criminals..and I suppose we have to have some moral code of ethics--as limited as it may be--and it's my duty to expose their wicked grandeur to the rest of you, or rather: show them some blackhearted love. <3
After all, why fight when you can advertise?
They could be of use, at some point. A little anarchy on their part is a great distraction for eventual looting of the aforementioned city, savvy?

So, yes, what a week aye? Full of all sorts of tomfoolery and ridiculous endeavors; I had a blast , of this I can assure you, and I met many marvelous folks from here and newcomers as well. I would log it all, but, I'm a tad exhausted.
In any case, I want to thank everyone who approached me cordially and didn't just..leap up against my person and scream taglines from the Pirate films, and as for everyone who bought me drinks ( especially Rabbi Tom ) , you're aces.
That being said, I now make a humble request. I know many of you have linked me photographs and video of my random outings during the convention, but I'm well aware there are more. If you could give me links to photos and videos, or post them up in general, I would be very appreciative.
Again, a wholehearted and resounding act of applause for you all. Hopefully I will meet more of you at Furfright.

Captain's Log - Kung Fu Panda and AC
Posted 17 years agoBecause I am stranded without a ship in the miserable city of Orlando, I've thoroughly decided to be a nuisance to both 
likeshine and betelguese , moreso than previous. In an attempt to assuage my constant badgering, they took me to the movies, because I don't get out much.
So, we saw Kung Fu Panda. Now, having been to Singapore many a time, I am quite familiar with how the Chinese culture works, and I've experienced the incredibly painful strike of a Buddhist martial artist ( yes, my aggravation knows no bounds ); mingling this aspect with these anthropomorphic creatures which seems to dominate this fandom . and the stylings of your current culture has proved to be a delightful treat. I can see why you all delve yourselves so thoroughly into this sort of thing.
In any case, a fantastic feature...I recommend it purely for entertainment value. Master Tigress though? Complete and utter tart. Marvelous girl and all, but she certainly needs to loosen up ; give her a night or two with my dastardly crew and we'll fix her right up. Lewd insinuations? I admit nothing.
Moving right along: Anthrocon. Who is excited? Who isn't? Who is probably going to end up being ill and shouldn't touch me under any circumstance? Feel free to speak amongst yourselves, I'm going to go pillage betelguese's ice box.

Posted 17 years agoThe other day, whilst cavorting with some fellow Disney heroes over lunch--though I've not yet discovered why this company has branded me a 'hero'-- we were discussing and flaunting different bouts of popularity concerning our movies.
Simba proclaimed he was the most prominent, as he was loved by both the mundane folk and the furry population; Hercules believed he was the best choice, as he was the righteous standard by which other heroes were judged. Aladdin said...well, let's be brusque and to the point: nobody cares what Aladdin said.
Then Barbossa ambled over and kicked over our lunch table, vehemently branded us 'nerds', and stalked off laughing alongside Scar , Jafar, and Hades . How very polite.
In any case, out of sheer curiosity, who is your favorite Disney hero and villain? -clears throat- No pressure, friends...

It'll be a lengthy two months beforehand.
Curiosity abound: Who is planning on making an appearance? And if so, I demand that you find me at some point, because I honestly don't have the stimulating incentive to scamper after an abundant amount of people, despite you all being lovely folk.
I have drinking to do and it's mandatory I be a tad indolent here and there, you see.
Also, a note: It is likeshine's birthday, so be nice and go wish her a joyous day of merriment.

Wether you're male or female, are into one particular thing or another ( lewd or not ), deeply into the furry mindset or just partially, you're all acceptable folk in my eyes. Building upon that, I believe that the entireity of this furry culture is not a drain on your present society as so many narrowminded folk believe , but in fact, a wonderful addition , savvy?
Naturally, you all bicker and quarrel, and there are some that simply have insatiable egos and furious tempers ( as I stated in a previous entry ), but like
