Seeking Advice about Streaming
Posted 10 years agoI've been considering thinking about getting around to perhaps doing some art streams.
Does anyone have any experience of art streams, either doing or watching?
Any advice, tips or reccommendations?
Streamers -
Do you focus only on the actual art canvas area, or do you show the whole window, so everyone can see your tool selection etc?
Where do you usually announce your streams? I notice some people post a journal or a picture as an announcement.
Watchers -
Do you find it useful to see which tools the artist is using? Or do you prefer to just watch the art unfold?

The Tremblay brothers want to bring Swat Kats back!
But this Kickstarter is primarily to produce a series bible for a new pitch.
If the stretch goals a reached, there will be a mini-series or a full length movie!
There are still so many variables and unknowns connected to this project.
I want to dive in right now, but I'm feeling cautious. Nevertheless, I shall keep my eye on it and see how it develops.

Any characters who are Irish?

Seeking Advice: 'Your Character Here' Auctions
Posted 11 years agoWhat do you folks think about those Your Character Here auctions I've seen doing the rounds?
Does anyone have any advice about running one?
Sometimes I try out a few different poses or layouts when working on pics or I start sketching an idea but end up not knowing how to finish it. This means I have a few rough sketches sitting around unused, so I was thinking of using them as the base for a YCH auction.

No, I haven't forgotten. I've been thinking a lot about the show and what, in particular, it means to me; what is it about SwatKats that really appealed to me when it first appeared 20 years ago and how to express that same feeling through my art. I've been struggling to determine the key elements that best represent the show and to decide on an angle to tie everything together in one unified whole.
Then I thought "screw it, I'ma draw some bare ladies". That's your XX for you.
I'm taking the opportunity to practice the nude female form, instead of cheating like I usually do, bu-ut I still have a lot to learn. Hopefully the results will be... acceptable.
(Maybe I'll do something else later, but that's what I'm starting with.)

Project: SwatKats XX - Open for suggestions CLOSED
Posted 12 years agoSwatKats will be 20 years old this year (first aired Sept 93) and I intend to mark the occasion with some artwork, tentatively under the title SwatKats XX. This is something I'm planning to work on later in the year (when I'm not so tied up with other projects) but I'd like to gather some ideas together now and let them simmer for a while.
XX = 20 - a series of 20 images? (Perhaps a little too ambitious!)
20 characters? How many major characters and villains are there?
Perhaps a portrait of each? I could probably double some of them up if need be.
Megakat city 20 years on?
XX = female chromosome - ladies only? I hardly draw the guys very often (or indeed at all) - would it be fair to leave them out? After all, T-Bone and Razor are the stars of the show.
XX = softcore in the old cinema rating system. Although I expect some things might end up a bit saucier. Maybe a mix of General and Mature artwork?
Well, I'm going to try throwing it open for suggestions:
Which characters (or character combinations!) don't get as much attention?
Do any episodes suggest any special scenarios you'd like to see?
What do you think? I'll be making a note of ideas here.

Christmas (and Halloween) came early

I've nearly finished uploading most of my older furry doodles so chances are newer pieces will start appearing here, albeit much less frequently.
Then again, I have literally hundreds of other non-anthro doodles sitting around. I'll probably just upload the better ones and my personal favourites.
Thanks for all your watches, faves and comments. At some point I'll have to get round to marking some favourites of my own.
