Post MFF Fun (Car theft and Covid!)

The con itself was great! I had a really nice time with good friends and I met some really nice people! Unfortunately, everything that happened before and after the convention amounted to some of the worst times of my adult life and I am still having a very hard time recovering.
We'll start with the end first. Like a lot of people, I took a souvenir case of Covid home with me. I've been on my ass thanks to my viral buddy since the Monday after the con and I'm only just getting back to being able to function a week later. Congrats MFF, we were a super-spreader event!
The part that was a lot less fun than Covid though, and is still going to be causing me quite a lot of trouble for some time to come, was what happened on the way out to the con. Hailbop, goopypanther as many of you know them, was kind enough to pick Farore and I up and drive us to the airport on our way out to Chicago. Once the kitbot and I had settled in at our gate, ready to go, I got a phone call. Hale had returned to our apartment to discover a distinct lack of my car and a pile of broken window glass. Oh boy!
It turns out that one of our neighbors had seen Farore and I leaving with luggage and decided to take advantage by stealing my car. It's been 10 days since and there's been no sign of recovery of the car. I'm stuck in a crappy holding pattern now, waiting to find out how much my insurance is going to pay. No transportation when it's cold and rainy isn't all that great. Nor is living in an area that is really spread out, with even just our mailbox being a 20+ minute walk.
So for the holidays, I am going to be forced to buy a new car. Cool beans, perfect, dope. Exactly what I wanted.
Ugh.

Posted 4 years agoNo really, I am queer, I am also extremely large. Something that is kind of fun for me is talking about and answering questions about what living life as a giant is like. I'm 6'8" and 415 pounds at current, so not only extraordinarily tall, but also fairly overweight. I am very soft.

A few years back, when I was a brand new bun, we did a growth drive that helped put myself on the map. More than that, though, it helped finance some serious real-life stuff for the artist behind it, farorenightclaw Business has been in a serious downturn for Farore lately and it's kind of a struggle to figure out why. They just had to put down the money for two different dealer's den tables at upcoming conventions and that is a pretty big hunk of cash. So, here we are!
It's time to make the big bunny even bigger! Every dollar you drop into the ko-fi jar adds an inch to your choice of bunny bits! Bigger bunny baps? Bodaciously bloated bunny belly? Booty beyond belief? The power is yours!

I designed a thing and Farore is selling it! It is a stoat-dude you can have for your very own. He has some butt, he has some junk, and he has a cute haircut. It's at a very cheap starting bit for a flat-colored image from Farore to begin with, so hey, snag yourself one of my endless ideas and some damn fine art at potentially a pretty hefty discount. I know I am not super active on here lately, but I thought I'd share and throw out the news that I'll be heading out of country for a couple of weeks upcoming. Myself and farorenightclaw will be traveling with a couple of friends and spending a week and a half in Tokyo and the surrounding areas, then a few more days in Kyoto and Osaka.
I've never actually left the US before, which is kind of odd considering how much I love travel. Always been a matter of money and opportunity and I finally have both. I'm really excited, but simultaneously kind of dreading the idea of spending 18 hours in an airplane, given my height and how cramped planes are these days. I am though, planning to create an Instagram account to make a photo log of the trip, to show off just how ridiculous I expect being a 6'8" or so ginger in Japan will be.
We've only got some very loose plans on what we want to do while there. If any of you have experience with the Tokyo or Kyoto areas and want to suggest places to visit, things to do, restaurants, or cool stores to hit up, please do! I'd love to hear them.

Crowdsourcing Silliness: Cooperative Character Creation
Posted 9 years agoSo it's no secret that I like making new characters. It's kind of my thing. The wide array of looks, personalities, and configurations that end up displayed on my page are how I express myself and show off the things I enjoy. With that in mind, I thought I would try something fun! Instead of coming up with a character to poke around with and get some art of, I thought it would be kind of awesome to let you all help me decide!
I'm still working on figuring out exactly how I am going to format it, whether I want to use submissions here, or online forms, or just journals. I would really appreciate input there! If you all are reading this (I certainly hope you are), let me know what you think of the idea and how you feel like it would be best implemented.
Above all, I need ideas for species, looks, etc. Fire them away at me!

There are a ton of characters out there that I enjoy seeing and would love to have art interactions with. I can't quite do that unless I put myself out there, though!
So hey. Anyone interested in getting art with my characters? Especially Charlotte and Raiya, since they're where my current interest lies. I am open to just about any of them though.
50/50 split sorta things are a must, and I'd really like to have folks bringing some ideas for pictures or artists to the table. So comment! Send me notes if you are shy, and once I get my paycheck, I'll see about selecting a couple of folks to split some art with.
Please don't be insulted or disappointed if I don't pick you, since I can't grab everyone.
