Today I took the opportunity to read back on all the journals I've posted since being here. It's hard to believe that I've been around this long and I'm sure one day my future self will look here on reflection. My inspirations have all been short lived, I've never put forth the effort to write any stories other than what I've posted so long ago. I keep making mistakes and I don't seem to learn from them. I know it's only a matter of time before things go downhill again and there's nothing I can do to stop it. I've been waiting all this time for someone to save me from myself and all I ever get is that I have to help myself.

My birthday was a success, few people knew about it. I heard from the most important people in my life wishing me well, I played Warcraft all night and not once was I bothered with annoying phone calls. Now I just need to be free of my dead end job and work with some kind of electronics.

I've been noticing that I've been craving to see many things, mostly more new artwork from Xpray or Drake Fennwick. I'm playing Warcraft as usual, just as I have been for the last two years. I enjoy it, one of the few things I actually do anymore. Here's to more nerdiness and less importance in my dull life.

The new Warcraft patch is up, shared mounts on everyone. I've learned that the chopper/ hog mount is now faction shared due to being different names, players are still as impatient as when the game started, and I have everything I ever wanted on everyone. Screw you people, I'm a fan of the game!

I went into work last night, figured that I'd try to turn my attitude towards it around and actually attempt to being a good crew person. That lasted about 20 minutes before several customers took advantage of my stance and ended up giving $24 worth of food out due to following company policy. Of which the manager proceeded to tell me we need to not give away food, whereas before he was the one saying just 'take care of the customer' so yeah.. this hypocrisy needs to end now.

Not much else to say, too busy playing!

New inspiration has come to me. Formerly l was a DJ at All Fur Radio, but due to reasons not to be mentioned l left along with every other DJ they had.. anyways! I want to start up my own station and try to recruit my friends into being DJs for it. I'm tired of all the division in the furry community. The WoW furs go here, the Trekkie furs there, the artists in the alley and the fursuiters in the back. I want a large community of furries that isn't separated into cubicles and shoved into their spot like the guy made to take the drive thru window every night. I don't care about sexuality, gender, political opinion, or religious affiliation. l want us to stand as one and be the United Furs of the World!

Thanks to a certain artist, I've been inspired to write again. While I won't be posting anything soon, I'm working diligently to develop Ryu as a character. Over the years, I've just been doing RP on furc as a scene by scene basis and really nothing has given rise from any of them. No offense to my RP partners, but they just weren't around often enough or became disinterested in what we had going. I want much more for my projected self, much more for what he has and what he can offer others.

On a side note, I've been watching old kung fu movies lately so I'll try not to incorporate the cheesy plot lines or dynamite fight scenes into my writing. I've also noticed that I tend to rush stories just so I can get to the next scene in my mind, which I believe is a sign of impatience and personal immaturity. As I work on my character, I also need to work on myself. Life is slipping by me day by day. I can't and won't allow this nonsense to continue any further.

Should anyone actually follow my journals, feel free to comment and offer words of support and encouragement. I don't want to even bother wasting time with snide comments of how everyone has their own problems and I should just stay a lazy slob. I'm a man and it's high time I act like one.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I personally can't stand it when I get into a new comic series and I have to wait for new updates on it. I'm fully alright with knowing that an artist wants to do their best and I'm happy for that, but when there's weekly updates promised for a page I go nuts. I'd rather not know about it and be surprised with the finished product than spend my days with abated breath as page by page is shown. Sadly.. many of my favored artists do this and despite my hatred of waiting.. I love their work.

So in an issue of Playboy magazine, Hugh Hefner personally penned an editorial regarding women's rights and how the government needs to keeps its nose out of other people's bedrooms. However, he is just as quickly shot down by feminists and other groups who technically recognize his support but just as quickly discredit him due to his public objectification of women and juggling around multiple women. I personally believe that it is because of those very facts that Hef is even more credible. Not only is he standing up for women's rights involving birth control, but he is the example of the very type of male who isn't believed to care. Show your support for Hefner, leave comments, research this yourself, educate others about the events taking place, and be active! If you have time to complain, you have time to make a difference.

I've never made this many journals in one year before on any site, this is a rare occassion for me so I'm chalking it up to it being the year of the dragon.

So I've been playing Yu-Gi-Oh! again, not much to tell save for the fact I'm not spending money on the game this time. I managed to get rid of many of my old toys for store credit, including a silly line of batman figures that were never canon anyway. The sneak peak of the new set is this month's end, heralding the first ever all dragon archetype. I've already expressed my high interest in it and my friends are willing to help me out in attaining it.

Outside of games, life is uneventful. I can't afford to travel to fur meets, I've lost contact with many of my former furre friends, and after almost three years I still haven't repaired my fur suit. The girl who made it has stopped her business due to school and I honestly don't feel like I should have someone else mess with it.

I never wanted to go through this sort of thing. I had always felt that someone who could actually understand me would last in a relationship for at least a year. Things didn't work out, and now I'm having a dissolution of my marriage. I'm not going after any special custody of my son, and she is going to have him living with her. To be somewhat considerate of schedules and gas, I voiced out that I wouldn't be too big on visits at least until she's out of college. We're at least on speaking terms, we can laugh a little, but we just need to move on.

This is going to be a good year for me because I demand it to be so! No longer do I sit idly by and allow life to flow like the stream down the mountain. This is MY mountain and I decide where the stream flows, each rock it dampens, each breeze that holds sway over its surface, every insect and animal that may drink from it is determined by what I do within my lair. I choose to reclaim this world as mine and take no trifle banter to worry my mind. Furres and humans of the world, rejoice for I have returned to myself!
