I'm putting some serious thought into putting aside the big dragon, and all that comes with it. The life of a furry is not as thrilling an idea that I once held it to be. There was a point that I believed I found a place where I belong and that others would be accepting of the ideas I had. However, it's rather clear to me now that being a furry is not much more than watching artists and getting looked at funny when others are informed of your interests. I just don't know anymore..

I am so tired and enraged by the surging fandom of My Little Pony. It was funny when it started and my friends were watching every episode, but now it's like a cult following. This is just like POGs, beanie babies, sex bracelets, and ALF. Now even FA has fallen victim to this fad and l feel like there's no escape. Let go of the 80's and grow up people, because we are in more debt than we can ever afford and spending what little money we do earn on this crap is ridiculous.

I am hooked on it yet again lol. I also have a broken left shift key, so gonna try to take my laptop down to the game shop and have the owner put it back on for me. I'm friends with way too many shop owners, but it's just something that comes with being a nerd. My ribs hurt from falling asleep on an arm rest pillow, or whatever these are called. Oh yeah, the Crow packs for Yugioh came out and all the Blackwing support that will ever be is now out. I'm going in to work on about 4 hours of sleep cuz of Memorial Day, so it's gonna be a fun night; considering I may be by myself >.>

Does anyone remember a story chain called "City of the Ancients" that used to be on Yiffstar? Well I guess it's SoFurry now but regardless... It involved a lot of impregnation and magic, basically Azeroth controlled by furries. I'd love to know if the storyline ended and how.

My wife and I have decided that we are going to AC this year after all, making the reservations tomorrow once I have my check in the bank. I'm wanting to get at least one other person in on the room and stay 5 days *the day before and after* so if anyone watching me.. there's people watching me? *shrug* Anyways, if someone needs a room to AC I'm asking one night's stay at Doubletree (129 plus tax)

Since the release of Cataclysm on Dec 7th, I've gotten my worgen warlock up to level 72. My alchemy and herbalism are maxed for what my level can handle, I feel far behind on archeology and that needs to change. Today I'm supposed to be playing D&D with my friends, I've not gone to the last two sessions due to sleep issues and I'm tempted to just skip this one too. My body has calmed down so much since my teen years, even though mentally it doesn't feel like it's been that long. I realize that I'm 25 now and high school was.... seven years ago. I've come clean with my wife, telling her the truth whenever I am going places. I used to lie and instead go to a friend's house, mostly to crash on the couch but sometimes for games. I'm going to grab some food and go back to playing WoW now. I just don't want to sit around and listen to others vie for their 15 seconds of fame while the DM goes on and on with story that I won't remember. I still feel lost and unsure of anything. My soul feels empty and my heart just doesn't click with anyone. I identify myself with dragons because they are known for living solitary lives and have no caring for others. I don't think I'll ever feel whole, I'll never fit into this world. Words do not reach me, images fade into memory, touch is but a brief sensation that has come to annoy me greatly. I thought that these feelings were because I was alone in the world. Now, I find that I was wrong and have cursed those I've claimed love to my existence.

I haven't even been playing the notorious WoW for 2 months and already my wife is getting on me about groups online and organizations who are anti-wow. She is the one who bought me the game, she said she wanted to play it, and now because she claims not to ever have time now I am getting the hammer one me about playing it. Anyone who happens to watch me, help a furry out. I just want to be able to play a game once a week that I have found I enjoy.

As long as I'm writing, my son is now 8 months old. Seems time flies when you're a parent. I honestly don't recall it being that long at this point. My wife has... become short tempered with me to say the least. I work all night 5 nights a week, look for a new job in a state I've barely been in for her, and all I hear is how I am never around. Yes, I need to sleep part of the day. Yes, I am gone almost every night. Yes, I am doing this for the sake of my wife and son. I feel I've grown a hatred of being myself just because it suddenly displeases her.

Yes, I am now a WoW player. If you'd like, I play on Kirin Tor server and my main character is a night elf hunter by Kraezee. I am done with being emo, I'm done with this whole goth aspect seeing as how everyone else grew out of it and the current generation is too pansy to handle my dark visions of existence. So I go now to lose myself in this world where Deathwing has stolen my heart.

To be honest, I don't update enough. I don't have a schedule for giving facts about my life and there's no following of me for when I do give up the info. So thank you to all those who have read this and a big middle finger to the world run by a dying society.

So my birthday was two weeks ago, yeah I'm 25 now. At this point in life I thought I would be well on my way to having what I wanted out of life. I find that I'm just as confused as ever while many others my age have established themselves in one community or another. On Friday, September 17 at 3:00 PM, I will be married to the woman who has carried my son in her womb for 9 months. I am very happy to know that this is the one I will spend the rest of my life with.

On a less happy note, I was in a car crash on the 28th. My car is borderline totaled, still haven't heard if it'll be repaired or not. My back is sore, but tolerable at least. I pleaded no contest to the ticket, which was following too closely. I'd say that I have no grounds to say I wasn't following too closely when the cars collided and all.

Yu-Gi-Oh news, I have my Blackwing deck completed and ready for tournament play. It's just a matter of getting a Friday night off, which is next to impossible.

Convention news: I will be lucky if the next con I attend is Anthrocon 2011. No other conventions until then unless there happens to be one in the immediate Indianapolis area.

Pokemon news: Japan will have versions Black and White by next week, news of the new Pokemon will flood the internet like New Orleans. I'm rather excited that there is a Dark/Dragon evolution chain.

So my son gets surgery tomorrow for his hernia. Doctors have no pressing concerns to mention. My fiancé believes that I run away from being a dad when I go to school or work. Science forbid I even mention seeing my friends. AC is almost here and my dragon suit is near complete. I'm very excited about both. I want my active, fun-loving girlfriend back but she's too wound up in looking at the wedding to see everyone else suffering. I write this journal in a solemn mood, hoping that all will work out.

So I've about got a month's worth of experiece down as a parent, so far I love being a father ^.^ I do have to admit that I miss sleep, but it comes with the territory. I've been making a lot of preparations for Anthrocon even though I'm currently on leave of absence from Djing. My wife to be is almost healed up from the birth of Drake and already anxious to get back into old habits haha. I myself have been relying on all the naughty things I watch here on FA, which I'm sure makes SO many people comfy. Hey, we're all furry here so just roll with me Rick. I have just a couple more months of college before I get my degree so I'm doubling down on my studies and halving my time spent on Pokemon. I never did learn to play Furoticon sadly.

Today, at 4:35 AM, my beloved fiance Sara gave birth to our baby boy Drake Alexander. He was 7lb 8oz and 21 in long. I'm so proud of her, and I feel amazing now that I'm a Dad!

So there is a lot going on in my life right now. There was a friend, I won't say their name, that decided it was best to stop talking to me. Not only that, but I am not to contact this person. I don't understand why I can't stay a friend because of seeing a picture.
I am working on having my fiance living with me, but it's difficult to figure out just when our two schedules coincide enough that we can get an entire move done. It'll work out great once the baby arrives, though I still need to figure out how I can cover for the time I spend at class.
What most confuses me is how people say that there is so much stress in this process of getting married and having a baby. So far, everything has been worked out and I've had no problems getting things done. It's more waiting for things to happen than anything else. It's more frustrating to just hear "Oh you'll find out" or "You'll see" from everyone. What ever happened to people just being happy and supportive of another instead of pelting with questions and offering no answers?

I have finally saved up enough to commission my first fursuit! Well, technically it's a partial, but I like the option of wearing my own clothes to give my dragon my own personality! So it's been forever since I've uploaded any new stories or poetry. The reason is that I just find my soul right now. I've let myself get dragged down by working overnight, I don't seem to want to do anything but play video and card games, and all the while my credit debt won't go away any faster. However, I'm sure that I'll come out of this funk sometime soon. With some recent inspiration, I've taken to eating much healthier and exercising more.
