It's the right temperature out and around now for me to do more resin work. It's not furry at all, but would anyone be interested in seeing pictures of my works-in-progress or finished shit. Finished shit only at least unless anyone wants to see what my stuff looks like in the molds. Seriously, I'm interested in hearing opinions. So yeah.


General life update:
I haven't been drawing because of my horrible joints but I'll probably sketch shit once in a while so I might post that if I'm so inclined. Mostly been vibing along like a houseplant and kvetching about being disabled and chronically ill. Everyone around me is getting their lives in some semblance of order while I wait to hear back from judge hardass about my SSDI. Dealing with replacing all my doctors because they don't accept medicare, which I have now. No sympathy or pity needed, complaining is one of my favorite hobbies. I've also been writing, my AO3 is Fireplace_Dragon if you want to read my Skyrim and/or Dragon Age Inquisition fanfictions. Both are isekai because I'm a slut for isekai tropes. Yeah. That's it really.

So, due to my apparently endless development of new chronic pain issues, I'm taking a month of leave from work. I might not go back. I downloaded a new (free!) art program called Krita that I recommend. I'm picking up my tablet and I'm picking up my pencil. My wrists aren't as bad as they used to be so it's not so painful to draw anymore.

Long story short, I've been out of school for almost half a decade. Art school kinda destroyed me, it killed my passion and my inspiration and my willpower. It's taken me this long to start finding it again. I'd been pushing and fighting the block that stopped my creativity and managing to create every once in a while but I was stuck.

And now I'm here. I'm feeling it again and it's incredible. If any of my watchers are still checking up on me, I'm managing. It hurts, but I'm alive. I'm not exactly thriving but I'm doing things. I'm finding joy where I can.

I'll be drawing and posting more traditional and digital soonish. Thanks guys.

Fuck I hate Christmas music

Earlier this year, maybe even last year, I don't remember anymore, I had people that I thought that I would be friends with for the rest of my life. But something stupid happened and I ran away and cut contact. I see updates sometimes, and it looks like they're happy and I don't want to crawl back into their lives with all this fucking baggage and bring them down again.

But you know who you are, all of you. If you're reading this I'm so sorry. You don't deserve to be treated like that. If you don't want me around it's okay, but I want to apologize. You can go ahead and forget about me now.

What do you guys do to help you feel better when you're sick and depressed? I've got a heating pad and Loreena McKennitt and reddit but I'm having a hard time staying distracted.

I'm feeling kinda blue and crummy, don't know if it's a symptom of my medical mystery monster, a side effect of my meds, or a muggle illness that will pass hopefully before a friend's birthday party tomorrow. Movies are too big and loud and intense and I don't want to cancel but I don't know if I'll be well enough to actually attend.

I hate being at the mercy of my health, a monster that doesn't have a face, and having to accept that this is my life now.

If you followed me because you needed to make a new account and wanted to refollow everyone you were following before, I'm surprised that you remembered me. And if you just found me, I'm still surprised because everything on here is getting pretty old for an art site.

Either way, this is a reminder that new uploads are highly unlikely, and if they happen, will be very VERY few and far between. I'm just a following/favoriting account now.

I'm not an artist anymore. I cannot draw, and I can barely sculpt. Complex Regional Pain Syndrome made it too painful to hold a pencil long enough. I'm done. Don't expect any more pictures for a long time, if ever.

So, I'm in need of money. I'm job hunting, but it's going slow and I'd like to have money now.
