So it’s been a few years since last time, and I am not even gonna pretend that I’ll manage 24 drawings by the end of December (but whatever I make my own rules, maybe it’ll be only 12 or maybe it’ll be done fully a week later but it doesn’t matter)

But I did do a significant dent on my To Do that I’ve been behind with (I know there are still 1-2 drawings I had no update on yet, but I promise I haven’t forgotten those either, and there will be an update in the coming week)
So yeah I was thinking of continuing my tradition of a lil advent calendar, but still, I would only offer colored sketches rather than fully shaded ones- because it’s the shading that keeps bringing me down onto my knees - and everything unshaded I actually managed to get done in my usual speed v.v
Still, I do have to raise the price a little, I don’t have any choice, because even if I don’t want to, the price of everything irl got higher as well and I do have to somehow afford my basic needs
But the question is, would anyone be interested in this style for 60usd as advent sketches:

General | Posted 2 months agoI just wanted to say that even if I am taking extremely long I haven’t forgotten about anyone on my to do list,
I’ve been working on it, as well as on other things because the reality is simply that I have no other income but my art, and I cannot only work on my to do but do have to draw new things as well. Because I’ve been already struggling to feed myself, it’s fine though so far I am living - but I will probably post something for inktober or kinktober or else I have to admit it won’t work out for me
But honestly, I’ve been just very slow, I cannot tell you why, because I wish I knew that myself. Even if I sit here and draw all day I will barely finish half of what I managed to do two years ago in one day. And I am not talking about being distracted I am just… slow? It makes me so incredibly angry with myself, because I know what I used to be capable of and right now I have no reason to not be able to do the same, and yet I can’t
I do have to admit I had a few months inbetween now and March or something that I was just unable to really function and in that time I really didn’t get much done, so there is that.
And every time I feel better and try to respond to everyone but I always fail to do so, but I haven’t forgotten and I promise I am slowly getting to everyone.
I finished quite a few things on my to do list so it’s not like I have this giant backlog of things (5-6 pieces?? All of them started two almost done) , but I struggle to be fast when my bank account says MINUS and my insurance says in a week please
I will hopefully actually post whatever I finished, but posting is already hard and I’ve been embarrassed to post when I know I had been so bad at responding to comments and notes
But I am alive and I haven’t forgotten about anyone, please bear with me until I struggle myself through and then hopefully be able to do updates in timely manner again

I am extremely thankful to everyone, and I am incredibly sorry that I haven’t responded yet to everyone and to the comments, I will start getting through the comments tomorrow, but I genuinely didn’t manage to gather the energy to respond in a timely manner to everyone
It doesn’t mean that I am not thankful or ready to draw for all of you guys I just- I don’t have a straight up response, I simply wasn’t able to get to it all just yet.

30-60usd Emergency Commissions
General | Posted 10 months agoI don’t think I have ever done this in my life and I am very embarrassed to do so now- but I have to come to realize I don’t have many other options as of right now in this moment.
I don’t talk much about my private life, and I won’t do it now either, but some of you already knew it too, I haven’t been doing well for the past year or so
As in not an awwww I am not feeling well today, meh, it’ll get better, or, I am in such a bad mood these days :( either,
I simply wasn’t able to function anymore and truth to be told I was pretty much on the brink of ending it all more than once.
I am getting help and I am getting medicated and I am getting better, I think so-? But even if I’d be magically all good now which I am not, even if I am better, I’d have to pick up the slack of past me still.
That’s all I am saying to this, but for the commissions-
I’ve been doing them as I always do, but I take considerably longer with them, as in, not my usual 3-4 days, more like 2 weeks or a month depending on complexity,
You may say that’s a normal time frame, which it is, but my bills are not so kind to wait two weeks just because my brain says I can’t be faster.
And let’s just say, I am not very far from being unable to pay for my rent and insurance (if I’d have to pay in this moment, I couldn’t)
As much as I despise taking on new commissions before my to do list is empty, I have no other choice.
Though I’d specifically would like to take on smaller things I can work on while I am out as well so I can do them between responses to bigger commissions too!
The specific thing I struggle the most with is shading, time-wise, that’s why I’d like to offer simple shading on these commissions, or flat colors or just keep them as sketches.
COMMISSION INFO:
-30usd for simple monochrome shaded sketch
-30usd for simple colored sketch with minimal shading
-60usd for clean lines, colored, simple shading
The catch is, you can add in a second character for no extra charge!
-payment upfront (I am sorry I have no choice)
-turnaround time should be around a week!
-if you’d like it done for Valentines it will be +20usd and I will prioritize your commission (3 slots for this!!)

The idea is to turn your non-mermaid character into a mermaid!

Now that I am out of the hospital I am back at work again, and I should have a lot of extra time!
And since both Mermay and Mayternity are topics I really really enjoy I was curious if there is anyone who’d be interested in special theme commissions and YCHs?

She’s a Maine Coon with heterochromia, she is deaf. She is only one and a half year old but her previous owner is an old lady who is not able to keep taking care of her.
I haven’t had the chance to have a cat since I moved away from home over ten years ago, so I am very happy to have her as part of the family now <3 though that means one more mouth to feed and take care of so I’ll definitely gonna take on some extra commissions for kitty fund! If anyone is interested in that.
I might make her an Amazon wishlist and you can buy her something in the exchange of a sketch or a proper commission depending on the worth. Would that be a good idea?

As some of you know I’ve been pretty absent here, quite honestly it’s not much due to irl (that too) but simply because I have not been feeling well. Yes, I’ve been doing commissions (and yes I am still doing commissions considering that’s 90% of my income >_<) and all but I am just tired… and keeping up with any sort of social media is just so painfully hard.
That being said, social media!
So one of the things I am up to irl is actually working on what had always been my dream, namely becoming a tattoo artist, I am working on it and all but it’s gonna be a bit haha, since I have no name whatsoever. But that being said I have forced myself to actually make an account for my tattoo work, and I thought maybe you guys wanna check it out as well <3

My phone got stolen
General | Posted 3 years agoI ah yeah, what a great way to start Christmas right.
I was on my way to my friend who I spend Christmas and New Years with and on the train station my phone got stolen.
I feel sorry for the phone of course but I am just a little worried since my phone number was connected to pp and now I can’t log in there anymore. Which means I am cut off from my funds for the time being.
I will somehow manage, I will call Pp but can’t do it before Monday so I am just a little anxious so yeah. But this is merely a rant.
I’ll be back to my commission tomorrow and on Monday as per usual so no worries there.
I just had to get out my nerves because I feel a little like crying.
