Back From Bronycon! (The joys of post-con depression)

I am now back from Bronycon and hard at work on my story queue. If you've been waiting a while fear not! I shall have stories fresh from the oven for all you lovely patient people soon. Particularly because I've noticed pouring myself into my work tends to distract from the other various issues my brain tosses at me on a day to day basis.
In anycase! Many thanks to the amazing
tacokurt for helping me fund the trip. I needed it more than I realized, and he shall be getting something special in the near future, and much thanks to everyone who took and takes the time to commission me. I know most of you lot just follow for the art, but I do appreciate all your comments on that, and the growing interests in my various perversional prose. I kinda put myself out there with every story, particularly the ones centered around my admittedly odd likes, and it's nice to know they have an audience even if it's a small one.
In anycase, here we are about two days out from the convention, and I have admittedly got Con-Crud and something else. While I sit here typing up stories about things eating other things, tickling, and tails, along with filling my bin with enough tissues to dry up the dead sea, I am rather fearful in admitting that I'm also suffering a bit of post-con depression.
This isn't terribly unusual of course. It's hard to go from such an accepting, generally fun, lively place, back to the old grind of 'Regular' people a regular job and the general day to day manusha of simply being alive. I've heard the term Post-Con-Depression used a lot in the past few years, but I don't think I've quite gotten it till now. I suppose after being somewhere like that, you kinda come home and realize how few people you actually see on a day-to-day basis really know you.
In my case that number is a big fat 0. I came home and very nearly no one wanted to hear about what I'd done out of state. I simply said I was at a 'Convention' of non-description to the less discerning of my circles, and even the more discerning asked little about what I did or how much fun I had.
I'll level with you. I do a lot more than furry stuff, but I like to keep that junk separate from this junk, and even with all that other junk that I do, the amount of people whom I can really talk to about it numbers in the single digits, in fact perhaps on a single digit on a fairly good day.
I don't know. I suppose it's just....lonely, you know? A kind of solitary confinement of self. Phenomenal cosmic weirdness trapped in an itty bitty living space 360 days out of the year. You don't realize how cramped it is until you get a few days to stretch. Then you return home, a hermit crab and your shell's far smaller than you remember.
I do suffer from actual depression of course. So this is mostly just late night fueled ramblings about what is probably a self-brought choice to be a rather lonely fellow. But I don't know, it might be nice to have a place, a person, within reach who really gets you in every facet. I don' think I've ever quite had that on a consistent basis. And having it on a macro scale for a few days makes that abundantly clear, and perhaps makes the call of the void a little louder in my ears.
Anyway. That got away from me. Bronycon was oodles of fun. Thank you all for your help and patience, there will be more smut soon, along with a few other fun things.

Posted 10 years agoAlright, I'm heading off to work now! I just finished uploaded a bunch of commissions that justanotherken built up over quite a while, but I am happy to report that the sphinx story for 
makuta The Pachy story for 
hypr are basically complete. When I get home at around 5pm I'll polish them up and ship them off for approval.
I'll also be working on finally wrapping up the monstergirl story for
solidness and Justin fom NIMH fic for Raksha_Jareth (Which ran quite a bit longer than I thought it would, but hopefully when I send it off to him that'll be a good thing!) I appreciate all of your patience!
In the mean time the

Jacksonville Area furries?

I currently live in a house that is technically owned by my parents, whilst studying communications and junk, but college is winding down, and I'm kinda growing tired of living under them to a degree. So at the end of 2015 to the beginning of 2016 I'm thinking about moving into a new place. Maybe an apartment, maybe a small house with some mates.
Problem is...Iiiiiii have no local friends. I'm perfectly fine with this as I am the introvert's introvert, but I probably couldn't afford an apartment of reputable size on my own, and I really don't feel like living with folks who don't quote 'Get' me, if you know what I'm saying.
So, if you're in the Jacksonville Area at the end of this year/the beginning of the next one, and you'd like to maybe test the waters and get to know me, to see if we could perhaps setup a little hamlet in the sunshine state, do give me a ring. Mind you this living arrangement would be for at the very least a year, possibly longer, and I am quite timely on rent payments, and expect no less from room mates. So only inquire if you're serious about such a thing!

Haven't Been Around Much...
Posted 11 years agoAs a few of my friends might have noticed, I haven't been around much these past few days. I apologize for that. It's been a hard month...This week family member of mine was hit by a car that ran a red light. She's not okay.
Apologies for being slow with commissions or not very talkative around the skypes and such. Just having a bit of a hard time as of late, burying myself in work I guess.
