I have been more or less non stop since I got back from New York.
I worked yesterday, and today, and I'll be working tomorrow too.
Today I am horribly exhausted. The drive home finally got to me, and I just couldn't wake up today.

So, the two commissions I need to do, I probably won't be able to start on them until Tuesday, when I have a closing shift that doesn't start until 6.

And if not, Thursday I have off, if I don't have a pile of real life errands I gotta do...


Time to get back into the swing of things! That week off was really needed, but it spoiled me a bit! My boss was all "I think you need another vacation" when she saw how drained I looked xD OH WELL. Just giving a heads up to everyone I guess. And by everyone, I mean psytrin and deloco.

Hurrah. What a lovely week.

Since my car is suddenly like I DUN WANNA GO TO NEW YORK CC.

Three things have happened thus far:
Engine light
Transmission mount has become loose
Upon fixing the transmission mount, my mechanic found out that the bolt in the bottom engine mount was broken, and that the mount is cracked.

Holy fuck that's SCARY.

The guy working on it was not hired when they fixed the car I bought.
So I'm guessing they didn't notice it, and from me driving it around may have caused a hairline crack to be uh.. worse. That's what I think, anyway.

So, it should all be fixed tomorrow, and I should be golden and gtfo to New York for a week and eat delicious things and all that.

Okay, seeing that my savings account has been at a level $200 for the past three months I have decided to just put it out there, again, that I am ALWAYS open for commissions.
And that I kind of sort of would like to maybe actually have some money I can actually SAVE and SIT ON just in case SOMETHING BAD happens.
I don't like not having a stash of money away JUST IN CASE shit hits the fan.
My car insurance, phone and electric bills, as well as food and the occasional mini splurge of things (I admit that I do sometimes splurge, but more and more I am finding that I have too much shit and I need to get rid of it) just doesn't end up giving me enough money to sit on by the end of the month.

It sucks, because half the time I take $100 out of my savings JUST IN CASE and then stick it back in there when my check clears.

So, every goddamn penny I make for commissions will go straight into my savings.

Second Life avatar commissions is something NEW to me, and it is a terribly tedious task, but I am willing to just grind myself into it to make money from it. I have had people ask me in the past, and I declined because I'm afraid of doing them. It's like having the option to take that intimidating final exam in college, because if I did, I'd say 'no thanks!'

This is the story behind the 'updated' prices. I switched things around. Adult and Clean commissions are now the same price (that means adult commissions are now CHEAPER) and the old Adult prices are for multiple characters.

I am very disappointed in the lack of badge commissions. I seriously have a lot of fun with making them, and I have EVERYTHING to make them with, and I have only sold smaller ones. $25 for a cut out huge badge is goddamn cheap, in comparison to what I have seen!

A lot of people ask me if I will ever go to a Furry Convention. Well, one- who's paying for that? Honestly, I'm not interested unless I can make my money back or double it. I reply to people saying 'you paying for me?' because it's seriously a bit of cash to go someplace like that. And I'm not even remotely interested in the furry crowd. Friends that I have made I would like to meet, or meet again, if I go to one. Hell, I don't even go to Anime Boston anymore because of how pricey it is. If I want something, I'll pirate it or find it on ebay. Durr durr.

I debate on doing livestream commissions. It's a very wonky process on my PC. Open Canvas is also a pain in the dick. But I'm sure if I tweak that, I can try that out.

So I was browsing around, and stumbled upon this doll from the 1960's

Have her in wonderful condition, with very nice pictures. However... she seems to be worth well over $200! It must have not been a very popular toy back then, but she is very pretty. Usually animal dolls like that head right into uncanny valley and are VERY scary. This doll, however, was made very well, and is creative with how the legs look.

I like unusual dolls, or unusual toys for girls. When I was little, I had dinosaurs that had hair, in a sort of "my little pony" style. When I was about 16 I found "Catwalk Kitties" which are pretty much cats as barbie dolls, but, despite being new in comparison, weren't made as nice looking as this poodle seems to be.

Strange things! Oh well, back to being boring.

So, today I went into my 'favorite' store, WAL*MART because I needed to grab some things after I got out of work.

I grab my cart, and make my way to the items of which to be choosing, when this portly sort of white trash looking girl/lady was walking in the opposite direction of me.


I had to do a double take on what she was wearing. It may have been a summer top to put over a bathing suit. It may have been lingerie. But whatever it was, she was not wearing a bra, and it was sheer enough that I could most definitely see just about her everythings. Like her goddamn nipples.

REALLY? You fucking go into public like that? I had the hardest time not saying anything, and just rushed past to just get my shopping trip done with.


Why doesn't she just walk around naked? She was practically THERE.

I have never been so disgusted with a person in my entire life. I just... No. Please do not reproduce. PLEASE.

I actually broke down and bought myself Obitsu doll stuff. What am I going to do with it? Mod it some and make Odette. For the hell of it.
I basically dropped about $50 bucks all together, but goddamn is it worth it.
The pose-ability of this doll is just crazy. And basic barbie clothes will totally fit it- time for me to go to the thrift store :B

Anyway, currently I'm REMOVING THE NOSE and making the mouth wider- as well as painting the eyes. But fuuuck the paint pens I have take forever to dry. So the process is slow.

Gotta cut and style the hair- and when I'm complete, I will take pictures of her harassing Woody or something.

Just uh, felt like making a journal about current dumb projects I do.


ALSO Dice earrings are coming along well. I just need a better way of making holes into the dice- or well... find my fucking dremel >:C Buuuuh.
