Aka, It's too late, and it's too bad.

I spent most of the last year looking forward to rolling a female worgen with the expansion. I mean, wasn't going to give my dwarf up for one or anything but she would have a nice addition to my stable of lowbie alts I enjoy looking at more than I actually play them.

However, rather than give us the savage wolf goddess we all expected, Blizz gave us a sad, terrified, little drugged out chihuahua with dental problems. It is not pretty, and I am not pleased. She's also sounds like a crabby little cockney when she speaks, and has a rather lame dance. All she needs is a sparkly pink collar with matching tutu and ear bows to complete her fail. Yuck; my inner warrior princess can not abide this. I'm rolling a male, and sticking Bitsy Bitch in my mental round file with bad Disney direct-to-video sequels and other things which should not exist; thus I make it so.

I don't know who created this paintover, but it's amazing how a few simple changes could have turned this trainwreck from awful to awesome. The paintover is so pretty and amazing. She looks so brave and awesome and noble, and dammit, I want to play her!! Grrr! It so unfair. Is Blizz's art team really so blind to think that their Frankengoggie really looks good? (I love how not only is the official version ugly and deformed, she also looks blind.) Well this shows just how horrid it is, and how good it could have been.

Too bad the dream turns back into a pumpkin at midnight.

Kerry and I went to the space museum. Rockets are like, big and look like someone's radio shack science project on the inside. ^.^

I rerolled my blood elf priest this morning. It wasn't that big of a deal really since she was only level thirteen anyway. At least I hadn't blown the two blue spider's silk armor items that Kerry and I (on my warrior) spent almost 2 hours grinding spiders in Arathi to get the silk for my tailor to make them on her.

I rerolled her for a male one, even though I generally don't gender bend my toons. (I get confused when people refer to me as "he", and have to think a minute before I go, oh yeah, duh! at myself.) However, I tried playing as a girl one and I just couldn't do it. The truth is, I just can't stand looking at blood elf women.

They are too skinny.
They have tiny breasts.
They have no ass whatsoever.
They have mean, pinched faces.
They look weak. :p

But oh, their men, they got that Sessho-maru thing going on. They have absolutely awesome hair**, and unlike the girls, there is one (and exactly one!) youthful, handsome male face that does not look cruel, smirky or like it smells something bad available for male belfs. Yes, the beautiful blood elf mana pool--almost never empty and so nice during that annoying early priest grind--without the stuck up little princess that goes with it.

**Granted, it's not as cool as troll hair. Troll hair for the win!

And just for the curious, my take on the rest of WoW's females:

Dwarves: Small and cute, curvacious and sturdy looking. Nothing makes me madder than female dwarf hate. Then again part of the reason it vexes me so is because I rather resemble one irl. ^.^

Gnomes: Smaller and cuter. Pink hair!! <3 And for the lols, best DK ever. Tiny, shiny death! ^.^

Trolls... are freaking amazon goddesses. Strong, lean, lithe ferocious beauty with most awesome hair in the game. Great colors, cute accent. Nothing but win. Male trolls, btw, are like pug puppies, so ugly they're cute. Plus most troll men look so jolly, big tusks and all, that I can't help but like them.

Dranei: The voluptuous Dranei are probably closest to what I would consider an "ideal" body type. All pretty curves. Horns and hooves are a plus, tail would be better if it had a tuft or a spike at the end. On the opposite end, Dranei males have the worst case of the fug in the whole game.

Nelfs: Emo (Is there anything a nelf won't boo hoo about?) as a race and strangely proportioned; huge hands, tiny heads. Decent up top but also suffering from noassitol poisoning. REALLY annoying idle gesture. Saved by their nifty facial tattoos, good hair and fun jelly bean colors. Plus you can alway roll druid and turn into something else that doesn't do that silly fan service bounce while AFK. My rogue however I just make sit while I go get that sandwich.

Tauren: Sweet faces with gentle expressions, spots and the best voice in the game. Also large and hairy, but being a furry I don't consider that a demerit.

Orcs: Poor Orcs. They fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down. It's not easy being green. At least they look strong. Best racials in the game though go a long way to make up for it. I love my orc warlock. ^.^

Undead: Creepy. I'll probably never roll one. Though that one "bride of frankenstein" hair doo makes me giggle.

Humans: Boring! I get to be one all day in the real world, I'm sure not going to play one. Plus they always look ill at ease.

...so can we get done with the business of patching, and get on with the business of massive monster slaugther? I mean, things have been down for over twelve hours now. :p

*pokes it with her poking stick* Nope still dead. Live dammit! Don't make me get the jumper cables.

I don't even know if I even care for this patch, ammo stacking or not. It screws with mana regeneration, my dog's Furious Howl and many other hunting traits I hold dear, and I'm not strong enough yet to bother with the new dungeon. I got my fill of being murdered trying to win Arathi this weekend for the quest. Yeah two to one odds are so fair, though I at least I had one of the highest damage scores on the field. Not too shabby.

At any rate could they just get things done already... Hell, I was dreaming about playing as I slept today. I'm ready to go.

Will you please stop being a wittle stupidkins and "forgetting" about my tablet drivers. I'm sorry you don't like them. It doesn't like yours. It works just fine though when you leave them alone, and quit eating them. You treat them like I treat firefox: To be hidden deeply in the hard drive and forgotten. Unlike my litterboxing of a program with childish icon I find so annoying that it makes me want to scream, your tablet driver amnesia does not work for me. You see, at least I remember where I buried firefox so when I need it, I can find it again. When you "forget" the tablet drivers, we have to go through the whole uninstall, re-install rigamarole where you kick and scream and say you don't like its drivers and want to use yours--you the ones that don't work? I'm sorry Genius Inc. didn't pay Bill Gates enough blood money, but you're just going to have to suck it up. In the meantime...let me go dig out the CD so I can re-install them yet again. >.<
