RedBubble Store Launch!
Posted 5 years agoHey peeps! Long time no see!!
I know I’ve been sorta radio silent, what with COVID and the state of things in Alabama, but I’m very slowly—but surely—getting back In the swing of my artwork. And if ya’ll see a piece of artwork you’d really like to see on some merch (like shirts, prints, posters, and etc), I now have a RedBubble store!! I don’t have much on there yet, but it’s getting there! ^^ And hopefully at some point this weekend, I’ll be uploading some of my latest and potentially some YCH stuff too. Be safe, be smart, and take care of yourselves~❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

🖤 RIP Alice 🖤 2008 - 2019 🖤
Posted 6 years agoIt is with the heaviest of hearts we had to say good bye to our precious Alice last night... Long story short, she passed due to her age (11 yrs) and some other health complications.
She was my first ever canine companion and I am so blessed to have had such a wonderful dog like her in my life. I love you, my sweet baby girl. Your paw print will forever be imprinted on my soul and I hope to see you again at the end of that rainbow bridge someday.

✨⭐️Enabled Shinies!⭐️✨
Posted 6 years agoI’m sure ya’ll already noticed this new trending feature called ✨Shinies✨ :) For those of you unaware, it’s basically an optional tipping feature, similar to Ko-fi. If you go to any of the submissions in my gallery, you’ll see a big yellow star in the detailed info-box, asking if you’d like to give the artist shinies. From my understanding, they can be done in $5 increments, and there are options to leave a message, and whether or not you wish to remain anonymous. So if you’d like to leave a lil something supporting my work (but don’t wanna do a Patreon/Ko-fi), this option has now been enabled for ya’ll :3 as always, thanks for the love & support!! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Guess Who has Twitch?!
Posted 6 years agoYup yup! 😅 I took my first dip into livestreaming yesterday via my XboxOne. I got my very first headset and for shiggles (and to see what it’s like), I decided to stream some Skyrim whilst chatting with
. It was really fun, even if I was a tad nervous 😅 I’m still kinda skittish about doing it again but now that I (semi)know what I’m doing, if I stream again, I’ll try to let ya’ll know :3 My main game I like to play most of all is Skyrim, and maybe some Okami. If ya’ll wanna follow me, I’m over at: https://twitch.tv/mother_ofa_murder
I look forward to havin’ ya’ll join me in my adventures!! ^^

My BestFriend’s got a Patreon!
Posted 6 years agoHey guys! If you are interested in reading some of the saucy stories that go along with some of my art pieces, like most notably my Rainbow Tentacle series written by the devious Rhazzazor, please be sure to head over to his newly launched Patreon! His tiers are affordable for anyone’s budget, and even just monthly $1 can get you early access to a paragraph of his "Soul of a Tiger" story! :D he loves hearing feedback & brainstorming new stuff to expand upon his story’s lands, races, and etc., so please check him out!! And because we’ve been ‘partners in crime’, we may even decide to collaborate together on future projects & stories with the support of your patronage! ;3 Even if smut ain’t your thing, his worlds & stories depicting them are colorful, vibrant, and can range anywhere from mythical fantasies to other-worldly sci-fi experiences, so he has something from everybody’s taste ^^

Commission Pricing
Posted 7 years agoHi guys! So it’s taken me a looooong time to sit down and really think over my artwork and its worth to me. This has never been an easy task for me, as I am my own worst critic and I question my own skills all the time, as any of my close friends can tell you. After doing some browsing and comparing with other traditional artists, I think the prices I’ve set here are good for me. I know these are a lot higher than they use to be, but lately, I’ve learned some things and done a lot of soul-searching, and I like to think my art has improved drastically from when I first started accepting & taking commissions 9 years ago. And one of the biggest themes of my pricing observations has taught me is this: Value your time, or else no one else will. This means that I deserve to work for above minimum wage. I hope the backlash for this won’t hurt my business…
• Full-Body Inked Single Character Piece: $32.50
• Full-Body Inked Two-Character Piece: $50.50
Each Additional Inked Character: +$25
• Full-Body Colored Single Character Piece: $65.00
• Full-Body Colored Two-Character Piece: $100.00
Each Additional Colored Character: +$50
• Colored Bust (partial chest & shoulders up): $40.00
• Full-Body Colored Chibi: $25.00
* Patrons from Patreon will receive discounts, which will be disclosed between myself and the commissioner.

Commission Rules and ToS
Posted 7 years agoI finally made my own Rules & Terms of Service for future commissions with me :) Because this is my first draft, this is subject to change if necessary.
Subject Matter:
When commissioning me, please keep my strengths in mind; I thoroughly enjoy sketching fantasy/medieval themed pieces, anything in/around forests, underwater stuff, and mythical creatures & monsters. Subjects involving vehicles, modern day buildings (such as skyscrapers and industrial structures), and/or mechanical/robotic things are simply a NO-GO for me and to be perfectly honest, they just don’t interest me. I would rather do a commission for you with my full heart & soul going into the work, rather than do something half-assed pertaining to subjects I don’t find interesting or find enjoyment in.
In regards to adult subject matters, I’m pretty open minded about many kinks/fetishes in the fur fandom, but, as stated above, there is some content that I absolutely will not touch because I either: A.) don’t find it hot/sexy, and/or B.) the subject matter(s) makes me uncomfortable.
Communication & Payment
To ensure I’m able to keep my records secure & private, discussing commissions will be done strictly via email; I will not discuss anything via public forum such as journals/posts or notes on FA, as data hacking has become a problem with many websites lately. All payments are accepted via PayPal as USD and I will start your commission as soon as I receive your payment. If you cannot pay me right away, this is perfectly fine! Life gets in the way, stuff happens. Just keep me informed! I will basically place your commission on hold for one week, but if you’re unable to pay by then, your commission spot is forfeited.
References
While I normally prefer ref sheets, if all you have are multiple colored images of the desired subject from various angles, that’s perfectly acceptable too! In regards to written descriptions, I’m EXTREMELY hesitant to accept these, but if your character is relatively simple and the description you provide covers a great deal of needed details, I might make an exception. That being said, if all you give me is a written description, and some details of your work isn’t 100% exact, simply (and politely) tell me while I’m in the rough draft sketching phase and I will do my best to work with you. SecondLife screenshots are okay, but please refrain from images with special lighting, special effects, or poses that make it difficult to see the entire character and its’ details.
Turnover Speed, The Process, & Sketch Approvals
As previously stated, once I have your payment, I will start your commission ASAP. My general turnover rate is within a month (30 days); if for some reason I am falling behind and if it looks like it may take longer, I will keep you updated. As far as my process goes, I generally ask what sort of pose you have in mind, and after we discuss this with example images, I will begin working out a rough sketch. Because I’m a bit of a perfectionist, I will normally send you 2, maybe 3 in-progress snapshots so if there are details I’m missing or what have you, you can point these out to me while I’m still in the early stages of your work. Once I have completed the rough draft, I will begin the inking process and erase the pencil beneath to have a clean finalized black & white art piece :) If you paid for a colored commission, I will send you the Hi-Res versions of your commission once it’s completely inked and, of course, when it’s completely colored. IT IS CRUCIAL you keep in touch with me regarding these sketch approvals because, as I’m strictly a traditional artist, once it’s on paper, it’s there permanently. I work with rollerball ink pens, colored pencils & markers, all of which do not erase once it’s on paper. If you, the commissioner, do not give me proper feedback/communication during the early sketch phases - when I’m fully capable of changing things with little to no trouble - and only voice your dissatisfaction until the art piece is completed, you will not be compensated in any form, and most likely, I will refuse future dealings with you.
Mistakes & Recompense
At the end of the day, we’re all human and mistakes can happen. If you see a mistake in your commission or I’ve forgotten a certain vital detail, please tell me politely! I’m very sensitive when it comes to my work, so just kindly point it out to me, and I’m more likely to respond nicely and work with you on what I can do to fix the problem. However, if the mistake is one I cannot fix, or I have attempted to fix and my efforts failed, unfortunately, I won’t have time or energy to redo the piece over. And because I have already spent a great deal of time doing this work, I cannot issue refunds. In compensation for my mistakes, I can offer you a discount on your next commission or offer you some free artwork. HOWEVER, if the mistake is not my fault (due to improper references/last minute changes/or lack of communicating with me during the approval phases) I will not give discounts/refunds. Incidents such as this will be discussed strictly in private messages/emails and what paths we can take from there on; this will be done on a case by case basis. I reserve the right to issue a refund and cancel a commission in the event of poor communication, rude/inappropriate behavior, or inability to communicate in effective English.
Re-Posting
If you commission me, you absolutely have my permission to repost the art I create for you wherever you like - I do kindly ask that you put some kind of credit in there though somewhere, so that others can find me. :) If you are NOT the commissioner or the intended recipient of the art, YOU DO NOT HAVE MY PERMISSION/CONSENT TO RE-POST MY WORK.
I realize this request will likely be ignored by the vast majority of people, and that is why I only upload low-res images. This cuts down on companies stealing my art and using it for tshirts and things of that nature. (Yes, they can still do it, but it's going to look like pixely messy crap.) If you want, I will give you a high-res for your own PERSONAL use, but please refrain from posting that, as it keeps my art, and your characters, from being stolen and plastered all over some knock-off company's cheaply made products.
In return, I also reserve the right to repost any art that contains my characters, whether it was commissioned by/for me or not. Please keep this in mind if someone approaches you and asks you to include one of my characters in a piece they are buying from you - if you have a problem with me reposting, kindly decline to include my character.
Mailing Artwork
All of my artwork is traditional, and I prefer to mail you the original piece once its finished. If you’d like your art mailed to you, there may be an additional fee to cover the cost of shipping. The amount will vary depending on where you live and how far the picture has to travel. PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK your addresses before you send it to me!! IT’S SUPER MEGA IMPORTANT that you make sure you give me ALL the correct info with your address...including your full legal name (NOT your furry name!) and city, state, zip etc. I will write it on the envelope exactly as you give it to me so if your info is incorrect, you risk your package either getting lost or returning to me (in which case, you will need to pay shipping again for me to resend it).
All artwork is sent via the USPS, and I do my best to pack it safely to prevent bending. Once the artwork leaves my hands however, I can no longer assume responsibility (believe me, if I could teleport,I ’d hand-deliver it myself! lol). Tracking information is always included for US customers (it isn't offered for international, sorry!). When your art has been sent, I will notify you via email and give you the tracking info :D

The following is a list of subjects/species/kinks/fetishes I love and enjoy working with:
• Fanart •
• Felines •

• Dragons •
• Mermaids/Mermen/Aquatic-folk •
• Serpent-bodies, coils/coiling, nagas •

Updating Commission Menu Soon...
Posted 7 years agoSeeing as it’s been 5 years since I last used my commission menu, I think it’s time to adjust several things. I will be adjusting & increasing the prices, but not too drastically. Probably increase increments between $5 to $15? I like to think my skills have improved since 2013, and between my full time job & Patreon, I’d like to think I deserve a small raise? <_<; I hope that makes sense and/or doesn’t sound narcissistic ><;
I can’t decide whether to use FA’s commissioning section, redo my journal menu, or create a submission demonstrating examples?? Hmm...

To Release or Not Release?
Posted 7 years agoSo because I’m still a newbie Patreon creator, I’m trying to figure out what the best way is to go about ‘releasing’ pics that were originally posted here to FA, as I’ve noticed many in the fur fandom seem to take this approach. I still want to make some pieces/offers to be exclusive to Patreon but seeing as I don’t have alot here right now, I wonder if maybe I should focus on advertising and persuading others to check me out. I’m thinking for those who donate even just a $1 can get a mini thank you gift like a discount coupon that can be used for commissions. Hmm....
What You Can Get for just $2!
Posted 7 years agoHey folks! So my Patreon is up and going pretty well! And I've decided to open up ALL UNCENSORED artwork and Patron-exclusive polls for just $2!! Access to higher tiers will even get you free art! For example, for just $5, you will receive a free colored chibi of your character/fursona! But do keep in mind because I'm just starting out, these reward tiers are limited!!
Speaking of polls, it just so happens my next upcoming art series, "How Kinky Do You Want Me?," will be voter interactive ;) Chao will be featured in some kinky poses, and you, the voters, will get to decide the next toy and/or kinky instrument to be implemented in the following sketch afterwards.
Even if you're not interested in receiving artwork from me, you can still gain complete access to all of my adult artwork for just $2, which goes a loooong way to help me & hubby out! Every dollar helps me buy much needed art supplies, such as erasers, pencils, pens, and most importantly, CAFFEINE to fuel the arts!!!
Can't wait to see you there!! ^^

Posted 7 years agoUpcoming Art Projects
Posted 7 years ago~*~*Stripper-Chao*~*~
Chao tries her hand at pole dancing, and each new sketch will reveal more and more of the sexy lioness, and the final piece will feature Chao giving one lucky fur a more intimate show ;)
~*~*Naughty Rainbow Furry Pin-Ups*~*~
It’s no secret I love rainbows & furries. So I plan to combine the two, and create 12 pin-ups of various rainbow colored furries AND scalies, males & females!
~*~*”How Kinky Do You Want Me?”*~*~
A series of sketches featuring our lovely lioness in increasing levels of bondage! The final piece will be a YCH auction piece featuring the lucky Dominant with Chao!!
~*~*Mistress Chao’s BDSM-101 Series*~*~
Another huge fascination of mine is the world of BDSM, but I also love helping others understand it & how to play safely & properly. This project will feature Mistress Chao in a series of different pieces of art, going over the common practices one may encounter in the BDSM scene and how to be safe and still have fun! If the series becomes popular enough, I may do raffles for other furs whom would like make cameo appearances for different topics!! :)
MY PATREON IS LIVE :D
Posted 7 years agoBIG BIIIIG NEWS!!
Posted 7 years agoSup my peeps?! So I have big BIG news… I AM LAUNCHING A PATREON PAGE!! Why Patreon, you ask? Well, I want this to be my first baby-step into making my furry art a part-time job. I know I was gone for a long time, but these last few weeks, I have been sketching any & every chance I get, and I’ve revitalized an old but familiar spark I once lost so long ago.
I work & slave at a restaurant full-time, Monday-Fridays, 4am to 3pm, dealing with rude & pompous customers of all sorts, yet my checks are just barely enough to pay bills/rent/basic-groceries and same goes for my husband, whom also works full time on 3rd shifts, so spending time with him is sadly limited. But I’ve come to notice that when it comes to my art & working for customers here, I find appreciation, love, and support among friends & a fandom I have always felt home to. In short? You will be helping me with groceries/rent/bills while watching me create & produce work for your pleasure :)
~*~
ANYWHOOSIES, enough of the mushy stuff; I am really REALLY nervous but really excited to be making this new transition with my artwork and I would love it if ya’ll stopped by and looked around as to what I have to offer for your support.
Things that I plan to offer on Patreon will include:
• Uncensored Adult Artwork
• Fully Colored Erotica Themed Series
• WIP pieces. Old (never-before-seen) pieces that never saw the light of day!
• Free artwork of all kinds for different tiers, complete with time-lapse/WIP shots of me working on personal artwork for you!
• At a certain tier(s), I may even offer you Personal Art Delivery-Packages; where I will send you certain pieces of artwork with a personal handwritten thank you note/card, maybe even with cute lil doodles on it!
Right now, my Patreon page is under construction until I get more organized but if you wish to follow me, here is my link: https//patreon.com/mistress_chao

BOO!!! Anyone Miss Me?
Posted 7 years agoHey folks! I dunno how many of you even still keep track of this old-ass lioness, but I (hopefully) have good news!! I am going to start doing artwork again, and yes, Chao will be making a return just as well ;) HOWEVER!!! While my art will still be available here, I will be doing some things differently. Because my full-time restaurant job & married life will always take priority outside the internet, my free time to do art (even for just myself) is highly limited. That is why I am considering (read this as, nothing set in stone here) possibly opening a Patreon account for patron-exclusive artwork access.
My ultimate goal, should I go through with these plans, is not only to motivate myself to do more artwork, but also have it be worth my (limited & precious) time. My meager hourly-hostess pay, plus Eric’s paychecks, are modest enough, but living paycheck to paycheck is (and has been) extremely stressful. And normally by the time Thursdays come around, we’re down to $5-10 in our checking account, with NOTHING in savings, so if emergencies come up... well, that’s something I rather not think about. So a little extra income in my account will go a helluva long way to help pay groceries, bills, & rent. This doesn’t mean all my art will be patron-exclusive, I’ll still upload here, but certain things, like fully colored pieces, access to certain requests/commissions, and uncensored adult artwork, will be exclusive for those willing to pay maybe a small monthly donation? Who knows, we’ll see...
... so keep your fingers crossed, folks!

An Artist's Laments...
Posted 8 years agoFor the longest time now, I haven’t been sketching no where near as much as I use to. I remember years ago, I’d go through 10-12 sketchbooks easily in a matter of 6 months. Now I don’t even complete a single sketchbook in over a year… I’ve been asked continuously why I barely do any artwork anymore, and I honestly really didn’t know how to answer those questions…
But I think I know how it all started.
In September 2011 (the time I had just discovered my dad’s cancer diagnosis), I was approached by the HR department of my workplace and they wanted to commission me to do some fancy paint work in the hallway by their office. I was beyond flattered and excited so I naturally accepted. I was asked to select some inspirational quotes to paint and add illustrations around them. I happily spent hours on these pieces… That is, until I found out I was only getting paid my shitty pathetic hostess pay to do this, which was only $8.75 at the time. I was understandably upset and when I brought it up to HR, they just said, “Well of course, that’s what we’re paying you. What else were you expecting? Us to pay you underneath the table?” Of course that’s not what I wanted, I just wanted to be paid fairly was all. I had several friends tell me not to finish if that’s how little they were willing to pay me. BUT, back then, I never liked the idea of leaving anything like this incomplete. So I continued and finished it up. Why bother, you ask? It was because painting all that work helped distract me from the soul crushing reality I was going to lose one of the closest people to me soon. Not right away thankfully, but it was true, all the same. Time passed, and different co-workers and management praised my artwork. Many had even told me it was always nice reading the quotes on their way to clock in/out of their shifts. I felt I had not only helped myself cope with a stressful period & achieved a beautiful set of work, but I had helped others get through their own work days too. Sadly, my Dad’s deteriorating health was too much and he didn’t get to see my work in-person. But we had taken pictures and shown them to him. He was so proud of me and he loved each one very much. Time passed, as eventually (and tragically) so did Dad. It has taken me literal years to heal from this and there are times that I still break down and cry, I miss him so dearly. Seeing my own work on my way into work-shifts always helped give me a small smile, because it reminded me of him and the positive memories.
Fast forward to last year, around summer time, my GM wanted to talk to me about a new project. I was cautious at first, seeing as I remembered how bad I got screwed over last time. He drops a bombshell on me: He wants to redo the entire hallway I had spent WEEKS working on to instead make a Hall of Fame memorial to those who won Associate of the Month/Years in the past. And I can guarantee you about 97% of said associates no longer work there, if not, had quit/been fired for shitty reasons, and wouldn’t give two flying fucks if they knew this plan. I felt so… wounded beyond imagination. Hurt. Devastated. As an artist, I cherish everything I produce because it comes directly from my heart & soul, no matter how big or small the piece is. And I suppose it was naïve of me to think people I work for, who ASKED ME to do this, would value something an associate took weeks to make… I had a goddamn nervous breakdown at work, bawling my eyes and hyperventilating because he showed me just how little my art meant to him, THE GODDAMN GENERAL MANAGER. It was the biggest project I had ever taken on, and the most difficult, and to be told it’s going to be replaced with something so fucking trivial and ridiculous was like a thousand slaps to my face and actually watching him throw the paint over all of it himself. When he found out how distraught this made me, he met with me again to assure me that, “as long as he remained GM, he would make sure my work stays there.” His words… This comforted me greatly and felt reassured that he understood my feelings.
… Or so I thought. This is around the time when my art output started to decrease drastically, which I thought was only because I found my new fun hobby of writing erotic fanfiction.
Fast forward again to last month, and I’m approached by said GM once more. What does he want? To inform me he had someone take pictures of my work, blow them up, and had them printed into individual large posters. He even said he’d give me the digital copies too. But what does he want in exchange? You guessed it… to go ahead and paint over all my stuff for his stupid Associate Hall of Fame plan. I have given up now. I gave the green light, got my nice posters & frames, and as far as when he’ll inform staff to start the new plan, I don’t care anymore.
What’s the point of this story, you ask? Well… I have always loved my artwork and doing it. And I have always loved showcasing my work in person and online. But I’m not that great and am admittedly extremely self conscious about it, more than anything else in my life. When I post my stuff, I’m lucky to get a single note/fav/heart/etc., much less a comment/feedback. I know I should create art for myself but… every artist wants some praise deep down; To feel their work is meaningful & appreciated somehow. When does my work get attention though? If it’s fucking furry porn commissions I’ve sold. That’s it, nothing else. Not the complex pieces with deep emotional attachment. Not the pieces based on my original characters and stories I’ve spent years weaving in my head. None of it gets the views or praise like the porn pieces do, and even then, it’s barely anything. I am fortunate to have a small handful of people love my all work with great enthusiasm, like my wonderful sister, my ever supportive husband, my closest friends. They have helped keep my small flame of love & hope from going out for this long.
They say if you want to be recognized, put your stuff out there… But what happens when you do, bearing your heart & soul, but hardly anyone seems to care?

I'M NOT DEAD! And YCH Auctions!
Posted 11 years agoI AM NOT DEAD!!!
Hi folks!! Sorry such a long hiatus! Lately, I've been indulging in my writing muse & taking a break from my art muse. It's been quite fun & exhilarating! However, I decided to make a return with a few upcoming adult YCH auctions to help gain some money. Keep an eye out, folks ;)

Not the Best Morning...
Posted 11 years agoSo yeah, drove off to work this morning like usual. Everything was fine until a dog ran out in front of me. I swirved, spun out, and next thing I knew, I was in a ditch, stuck. Fortunately, a biker named TackleBox (yes, TackleBox), helped me out of my truck and stayed by my side til Eric came and got me. Funny enough, TackleBox & Eric went to high school together and thanked him for helpung me. Good news is besides a bruise on my left tit, a scrape on my left foot, and a sore back, I’m not hurt too badly (my pride’s hurt more than anything). Bad news is the right side of truck’s pretty jacked up but we have insurance so I hope it won’t cost too much to get this fixed :/ FML.
