My hand is now fully functional and I'm ready to get back to drawing. I'll be finishing up the commissions I started in January and then when those are done new commission slots will be available at the end of the week.

Sorry for the wait.

Because of a violent stomach bug that I had earlier that made me lose all interest in drawing and doing stuff. Primarily because it's hard to want to draw after you've literally puked your guts out for thirty straight minutes.

Either way, it's just a practical thing. I don't want to half ass it because I'm still out of it, so bleh. Sorry about that.

I have some time today, so I wanted to take the time to do some sketching today. I have a list of characters I'll draw, but for the most part, I just want to try getting back into drawing more!

I've injured my drawing hand.

Though, luckily it's not that bad, but it makes drawing a real pain in the ass. However, it should be better before the week is out, hopefully.

It also is annoying because I'm worried about how it'll affect my gaming since Kingdom Hearts III releases tomorrow (or at tonight if you're like me). And naturally, you don't want your hand completely useless for an action RPG like this.

There will be a stream today, around afternoonish. I will be working on current commissions.

So, yesterday's challenge was pretty fun and got some interesting music out of it. So I figure let's go for another music themed journal!

This one is a bit more in depth, though. See, now I want you to actually describe what you like about the composer and their work. They can be any composer you want, just like last time, you just have to go indepth about why you like them. And provide examples as well if it helps.

With that out of the way, I'll start us off. I will say that it wasn't exactly difficult for me to choose who to pick for this but my favorite video game composer. Now, those who know me might think I mean Yoko Shimomura since Kingdom Hearts is my favorite franchise and Kingdom Hearts III is right around the corner. But I'm gonna go with another Square Enix affiliated composer and I already shared one of his songs yesterday.

Masashi Hamauzu.

He's got such a distinct and deep style to his music, it has a lot of layers to it that makes listening to the songs so fun. For one, he makes expert use of the piano in nearly all of his songs and it lends itself well when paired with other instruments too. And it's especially impressive when done on a system like the PS1.

And these are for battle themes. He also does extremely well with more calming themes. The layers of the instruments really propel the emotions of the scenes forward.

I'm not sure what else to say about him than that, but hey, it is a challenge for a reason! I strongly recommend people check out his music some time!

I just wanted to know what those who have joined my streams have to say about them? Anything you really enjoy about them or feel I need to improve on?

This is just me being curious, but I do hope to improve on streaming soon.

I've been meaning to make this update for a few days, but since I moved out of my house and out of what was a very toxic and abusive relationship, I've been feeling a whole lot better. I'm not sleeping as much, I'm a bit more active and I might have better prospects than I did before. And most of all, I'm just a lot happier! I'm not going to go into details about what the situation as a whole was and while I'm not totally free of that terrible individual, I don't have to deal with them in any kind of way as of this writing, which is good.

I'm also sorry that I've not been too active on here, but I was getting my computer overhauled as well. It's running better than ever now and hopefully soon, I can get the drawing up on a good schedule.
