I just wanted to pop back here real quick to say that I have a tumblr that you guys can check out if you've been curious to know what I've been up to these days.

I know I obviously haven't touched this account in ages, but I've kept it around in hopes that I'd return here properly one day; but unfortunately it never happened.

I've talked it over with a close friend, and I think I'm going to properly close and leave this account for the most part. I know it may come as a shock to some, but I really have no point in keeping this account if I never use it for anything accept for near pointless journal posts.

Now why am I saying "this account" so many times? Well I haven't necessarily been inactive on FA completely; I've had an alternate account I use for sharing drawings of a completely different theme and setting, and I really enjoy drawing them. These new themes have kept my drive for drawing alive and well. So in a sense, I'm just moving over to a different account completely

I would normally link to my alternate account, but for personal reasons I would rather not share it on here. But if anyone (though mostly the friends I've made on here), really wants my other account then they should ask me in private.

Anyway, I think I've covered everything I needed to. I guess this is ChaosUnown signing off. Thank you for all the support I got on this account, and I wish the best of luck to everyone.

I know I haven't touched this account in months, nor am I a PCA member myself anymore, but I feel I should share my thoughts on the matter of what went down.

It seems last night did get a bit out of hand, but I honestly can't blame anyone for reacting so negatively, the plot suggestion that was brought up was twisted and terrible. I think the main question is, why has the PCA suddenly gone from formal dances & battling events to an out right demented horror plot where some psychic type fucked up in the head has his/her way with "weak-willed" females? (I of course, put "weak-willed" in quotes because I know for a fact that a majority of females I've seen in the academy are anything but)

I know the PCA, at least from my point of view, has been lacking in activity; but quite frankly, I think it would have been better off dead than using messed up plots like these. Or, echoing what has been brought up in the PCA journal in question, you could also just reboot the community and start anew. Hell, if the PCA was changed to what it was originally intended to be I might be up for rejoining!

Anyway, that's just my two cents.

And yes this is an important journal so I would highly recommend reading all of this.

Remember how I was thinking about whether I should retire from the PCA? Well I've thought about it...
...And I've decided that I am going to do just that. I'm sorry to any friends who wanted me to stay, but I'm just going to retire from the PCA.

Now before anyone makes any assumptions:
This choice was not under the influence of trolls or flamers, nor was it because of the recent shift in power. It was not because of any group or single person, it is simply my own sole decision. This also NOT to be mistaken as a rage quit or leaving journal of any kind. I will still be very much active on this account.

Do I regret joining the PCA? Of course not. If it weren't for the PCA I would not have met so many great friends over the years. The PCA also provided a great stepping stone to my drawing abilities. All of the themes I drew and the trades and requests I've done for people really helped with my abilities. I just figure the characters I've made deserve a lot more freedom in terms of situations to draw them in (Don't get any wise ideas though :V).

Am I going to completely stop drawing for the PCA? Not necessarily. I still won't mind drawing other people's students or teachers, it's just me and my characters that won't be apart of the PCA anymore really.

Now this is an important bit right here, so listen up. Since I don't want to completely stop drawing some of my characters, I will be taking a select few of my students and just making them regular pokemorphs not associated with any group of any kind. What will happen to them exactly when they suddenly aren't around the academy anymore? Well let's just say they graduated or whatever. The point is they are not apart of the PCA anymore.

Anyway, the following characters who will be made regular pokemorphs are as follows:

-Xavier (Blaziken)
-Kane (Arbok)
-Katara (Pidgeot)
-Whitney (Blaziken)
-Jasmina (Bibarel)
-Alice (Lumineon)
-Adyna (Swanna)
-Trisha (Reshiram)

Anyone I didn't mention, I'm sorry to say, are just not apart of my list of active characters anymore. So these 8 pokemorphs shall now remain as my active general pokemorph characters. I'd also like to say ahead of time, Jasmina and Trisha specifically will be apart of something different, so you may not see them a lot on this page, so please deal with it.

Life
Pretty dull over these past weeks, I mean aside from the still pretty new pokemon games which are fun as hell. Just the same mundane task each day of the working week. I went to a job fair last friday though, it was pretty cool how many companies were looking for people with graphics experience sort of like me.
On another note, a certain Deadmau5 has gotten onto my list of favorite music artists. "Hi Friend!" and "Move for Me" are two of the numerous songs that have really grown on me.

Pokemanz
I beat the Elite Four not too long ago! I won't spoil anything, but it was a bit anti-climactic towards the end to say the least. But I have to say my team is really shaping up and they haven't even surpassed the level of the Champion's strongest pokemon.

Drawing
Again... pretty inactive. Sorry guys, college comes first. But thanks to a very good friend, I've been motivated to draw some stuff I loved (and still love) from the earlier days of being on FA. Some of you might have noticed, but most of you probably haven't, which is probably a good thing, hehe. ANYWAY, the main thing about this section is that I made an agreement with my folks that I would draw every sunday morning. It seems like a pretty good idea, I just have to draw anything that comes to mind for 90 minutes each week. Hopefully doing this will get me into the habit of drawing more often.

And that's about it! Uh... sorry I had to make you read so much. I guess I had a lot on my mind, haha.

So after some tinkering with my airport I finally managed to change it to a protected and compatible WEP connection so I can finally get wifi on my Nintendo DS.

I can't wait to try out wi-fi battles in Pokemon Black!

Best tournament I've been to. I'm going to keep it brief this time since I'm pretty danced out tonight.

This was probably the biggest tournament I've been to as well. But unfortunately I don't think I faired as well as I did in the previous one. Again, I didn't place in the main tournament. The side tournaments, which I mainly came for, were amazing. Out of about 30 participants, I placed 11th in the Sightreading Tournament, while I got 7th in the Modifier Tournament (The one I'm best at because I love looking at visual effects).

I truly had a wonderful time there, though it was a bit heartbreaking for me to say goodbye to everyone when it was time for me to go. ;3;

On a side related note I got about 4 different friend codes for Pokemon Black and White there. It won't be of much use to me since I don't have DS wifi, but it was nice to connect with great friends.

So hear I am at home. Just hanging around for a bit before I get to bed...
...Well tomorrow I resume my monorail schedule, joy.

Yup, it's that time of the season again. I'm heading out to the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana again to attend my 3rd In the Groove (ITG)* Tournament! I'm super psyched, and really look forward to the fun and games. As usual I'll be entering the Main Tournament, plus two side tournaments. I haven't improved much due the dance machines around me breaking down a lot, but I hope I can improve from the last tournament.

So that being said, I leave for the tournament VERY early tomorrow morning, and I'll be back around late Sunday night.

I never think too much of this day since I'm usually caught up with school work and stuff to even pay attention, but oh well. ;3;

For the first time in ages, I've come down with an illness. And boy was it great to forget how it feels... until today.

...Ugh, Arceus I feel horrible.

I saw Zoroark, Master of Illusions last night. I was pleasantly pleased actually, the atmosphere of the story was right and the voice acting was surprisingly decent. I rather enjoyed watching it, though... it seemed a bit dark at times, I mean Kodai was strangling that Celebi! D: Not to mention a pokemon actually passed away in a somewhat realistic manner -Spoiler filter-. All in all, it was a good movie, and I enjoyed having a glimpse of some 5th generation pokemon before the new season aired in the US.

On to my next topic...

You ever have one of those moments where you're in a dispute, and even though your point is a lot more valid, people still take the other person's side just because they have more popularity than you? I mean honestly, I was called out for being "bad" at doing something. I stated my defense, but suddenly I'm being treated like I said something completely ungrateful.

Anyone ever have moments like that?

Anyway, here are some updates going on. I've started my spring term in college, it mostly consists of graphic arts and design classes which should be loads of fun for me. March, will be the big month for me, because in addition to getting Pokemon Black Version, I'll be heading out once again to attend a big ITG tournament! Darn it March, get here faster.

Anyway, other things. Not really much, my drawing is slow... once again for me. I have a trade to do, but that's about it. I'll try and get something drawn and uploaded before the end of this weekend.

Wow, 2011 huh? Wow it sure flew by. A lot of good and bad things happened over time. Let's see here...

- Bad Things - (This first again because I'm a pessimistic derphead)

- My Architecture caused me so much grief, I dropped the class entirely.

- Some drama around the PCA, I wish I was never stuck in the middle of it...

- I got into my first fender bender, not fun...

- I've been having unexplained knee pains over time. I feared that might have meant I had to cease playing ITG and DDR.

+ Good Things +

+ I participated in two different ITG tournaments (Spring and Fall), and they were the greatest moments of the year for me.

+ I graduated from high school, and I got A's and B's in all of my first term College classes, which was a first for me in ages.

+ I got the Adobe Suite for my computers, and saved over $600 because I'm a college student.

+ I made so many new friends over time, and got to do requests, art trades, and a collab. I'm very happy things are going good for me in the PCA. And I hope it stays like that in 2011.

Some goals for 2011...
Well for one thing I want to continue to improve my drawing abilities, and hopefully do more art trades, that sort of thing. I also hope ITG wise, I'll someday make stepcharts/files that are good enough to be added onto actual ITG machines. I also hope to improve my overall ITG/DDR abilities in general. And finally I hope to continue to excel in college so i can one day get a good paying job.

Well happy new year everyone, and I hope 2011 treats everyone well. ^_^

Finally home... I went up there bored, and came back pleasantly amused... and also came back with a mouse and a turkey for some reason.
