No livestreams, no ustreams, no skype chatting, no let's plays. I'd like to go out on a limb and say I'm never getting any stupid Logitech appliances ever again...

Sorry for not sounding like myself, but this is just a big loss for me and I don't have the money to replace it, and I am really not in any good mood right now. So... I'm just not gonna be doing any of the above stated things for a while.

Okay first off, livestream doesn't work... on my office computer, if I do a livestream from my laptop there are no issues at all.

Secondly, how is everyone doing? Anyone else get their first snowfall of the season? And if I were to stay home because my plans were rescheduled, how would you guys like to see me do a classic livestream, from my room, doing traditional drawings like I used to do when I first started? I may even take requests. c:

I couldn't hold in my curiosity anymore, so I just had to see this movie like getting a bad itch off my chest. First and foremost, the most obvious mistake. How could they mispronounce Aang (Ong) and Sokka's (Sohka's) names? That is something that should not go unsaid. Another thing is that trying to put a whole season into a movie didn't exactly work out well. None of the scenes really had a chance to develop, they just came and went. Aside from that, it was a fairly good movie, the effects were spectacular, and the action scenes were surprisingly entertaining. And there was some nice soft humor here and there.

So those are my thoughts on the movie.

So stuff going on? Well aside from something pretty cool happening in a couple of days... there hasn't exactly been too much going on. Almost nothing actually, heck even the very ITG machine I love going to on the weekend has been out of service for weeks. :c

...But I digress, so how is everyone else doing?

Hey everyone, what's up?

So life, things are pretty average here. I go to college, I do work, and then come home. I'm doing pretty well I guess, last I checked I had B's in all of my classes, so that's pretty sweet. c:

Also, my birthday's in less than 2 weeks. I'm pretty hyped I guess, but it's never anything too special. Just some cake, then I just continue with the mundane rituals of everyday life the day after. :V

Drawing wise... er, I'm sorry for hardly being active with drawings here, it's so hard for me to muster the willpower to draw lately. I'm going to be getting the Adobe Suite for my computer soon, which is pretty cool! (Although I won't be allowed to use it until my birthday rolls by, heh) Hopefully I'll be able to improve my line work and coloring with it, so yay. c:

PCA! Right now, my top priority is finishing the back to school pictures for the rest of my characters, I've already procrastinated with drawing enough so I really need to finish those up. D:
Art Trade requests will still be closed until I've finished a good chunk of what's on my to-do list.

Thank Arceus. This was the opposite of when I went to U of I in Champaign. I came down with a serious headache/cold on Saturday, so most of my plans to lounge around and fool around on my computer while folks went out to a concert fell short because I had to lay in bed with what was probably the headache of the century. I got a lot better on the way home though, so things are back to normal... I guess.

Man that ITG tournament was so much fun, I met a lot of cool people and and saw some pretty sick stuff. Probably the best ITG related tournament I ever went to. I attended three different tournaments. The first one was the main tournament (Otherwise known as a classic tourney), I didn't fare too well there, I don't think I even placed there. On day two, what began was what was called a "sightreading" tournament, in which all contestants play song files that no one has ever seen before, sort of like blind runs. I managed to take 9th place out of 23 players, which isn't too bad to me, heheh. The last tourney I entered was what I mainly came all the way out there for, the Modifier Tournament. In this tourney, you play song files that are accompanied by really funny visual effects that try and throw you off. I actually managed to take 6th place out of (I think) 21 players there, which just put a smile on my face. c:

I really had the time of my life there, but now that I'm back home.... I'm just going to resume my usual schedule, filled with College and drawing. ^_^

Hey guys, I'm gonna be heading up to U of I in Champaign-Urbana again like I did earlier this spring to attend another ITG Tournament (Again, ITG is like DDR, but on a whole new difficulty). This time I'll be entering all of the tournaments, including the big main one! I have a feeling its going to be lots of fun like the last one was, and I've improved greatly since the last time I was there, so I hope I can place somewhere in the main tourney. c:

Anyway, I'm gonna be gone VERY early on Saturday morning. If there is free wi-fi up there, then yay! If not, then I'll see you guys back on Sunday night. ^_^

Cody has always been at the top of his game. Training to no end, never holding back in battle. But recently these couple months into the new school year, the Marowak feels his training methods are not helping as much as it did the previous year. So Cody decides to do something a little different, and that is forming a team. He believes this will help his training more than before and he will be back at the top of his game, he also thinks it wouldn't hurt to meet mons instead constantly training in solitude.

So basically, Cody wants at least 3 other members for his team, preferably Junior or Senior year, who has a strong interest for battling and/or self improvement.

A lot has happened in the PCA, no? I can definitely say for myself that joining the PCA has one of the best choices I've made. I've met so many great friends and acquaintances over the time. It's keeping me motivated to draw too I guess, haha.

But going onto a more broad field, there are just some things that just really bother me, like friendships being severed just because one person made a small mistake. Even when apologizing from the heart, the others just would not accept it, and then after that never speaking with each other again. That's just not right.

Being a constant "middleman" most of my life, I've seen too many instances where people who were once really tight with each other just suddenly stop talking with each other merely because one friend made one simple mistake. The other person might not notice, but his once former friend could be really hurt inside.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, everyone deserves a second chance, don't let a friendship die just because of a simple mistake. Think about it...

It's sort of hit or miss for me. A good number of the designs I like, but the rest looks fairly disappointing.

First and foremost, the fire starter once again adopts a fighting attribute? It's getting really old now. I mean it made sense in Hoenn and Sinnoh because the first gym leader used rock types and that early on in the game all of the starters should have had a fair chance against them, but it doesn't seem to make as much sense now.

I'm also not fond of the tadpole (Otamaru) or that dark/fighting pokemon (Zuruggu), they kind of look like reject digimon concepts (My stomach quickly churns at the mere thought of digimon). That, and the 3 very last pokemon (after the Ice Dragon), just look out of place and rushed.

Now that the hate is out of the way, now for the designs I like. Well let's see, obviously I approve of Swana ( |3 ), and it appears it has a pre evolution, how adorable! I also really love the design of the Hitomoshi bloodline. A ghost/fire type really clicks with me, I would capture the little candle critter in a heartbeat! Shinpora definitely looks like the most surreal one of the bunch, but its design really catches my eye. Purotooga I like as well, it'd probably be perfect for my diving pokemon (If Dive was brought back as an HM that is). And lastly, Desukan is really cool, the design is clever, but I think it would be better off as a ghost/rock or a ghost/ground type, seeing that would fit for an egyptian sarcophagus.

That being said, I guess you can say I am looking forward to the US release in the far future. c:

Well I've almost gotten through my first week of college, I definitely feel better because my parent's exaggerations about college are most untrue. I've been getting my homework done easily and half my classes right now are hands on instead of take home work, but the fact that I have to take a 30 minute drive there and back in an ancient, small car is not helping my stress level (being 6' 2" does not help either :c ).

Drawing wise, I'm sketching, but at an incredibly slow pace (It's taking me 3 days to get a rough sketch done). I'm sure once I adapt to the college routine I'll be back to drawing on a regular basis, but for now things are still slow.

So... in addition to the anxiety of starting college tomorrow, my folks are still giving me a hard time about what could happen at college, which is adding up on my stress level. At this point the height of my stress is beginning to have a detrimental effect on my drawing. i can't draw for crap right now, and my motivation is at an all time low. It feels like I'm coming down with some kind of mental sickness.

That being said, don't expect alot of uploads from me as much right now.

Well as my last few days of freedom shrink, so does my first day at College draw near.

Next week I start my first year at college. This may or may not mean my drawing time will be severely cut.

My folks are telling me in all of these huge words which I actually understand that College will be the most difficult thing in my education so far. I would be inclined to believe them, but something tells me it won't be that difficult. I mean it'll still tough with the possible homework load, but only one or two classes for about 3 to 4 hours per day sort of balances it out.

My schedule is all over the place, on Mondays I have two late morning classes, on Tuesdays I only have one class, which I believe is my Graphic Design class, but that is like at 6 PM in the evening. On Thursdays I actually have one morning class then I have to return to the campus in the evening for a class. It seems like a mess, but again only one or two classes per day balances it out.

So as I mentioned earlier, this may or may not severely cut my free time. I will be on my laptop occassionally, but I don't know for how long. One thing is certain, with the free time I do have, I really need to use it to draw instead of play Stepmania or Wii.

Well just a little while ago prior to this journal post, I got back home from Door County! Never felt so good to be home before, it was hot up there.

Anyway, the time away from Illinois really helped me wind down, and I feel much better than how I felt before I left.

So I finally arrived in Door County and to my luck, I've found a wifi connection not too far from where I'm staying! Though I promised my folks I wouldn't go out there to use it too much, So I'll try and use it to a simple schedule.

So I moved into my room and it's freaking hot up here despite being right next to the bay. Also 4th of July is tomorrow and I am super excited about that!

I'm actually glad I have this much to do now, so i guess I won't be so out of touch as I thought! The only things I won't be able to is go on Skype or watch Streams, the connection isn't good enough for those for some reason.

But here I am now having a nice time after a 7 hour drive. ^^;

Alright so I'm going up to Door County, Wisconsin for a whole week. Gonna be staying in a little cabin right by the edge of the bay. There is about a very high chance I won't be able to use the internet unless I can find a hot spot somewhere in the nearby town.

The point being, I'm going to be gone all of next week, which is why I'm taking this time right now to pack up my DS and GBA SP and also fill my laptop with some games and emulators/roms. I'm also gonna be bringing my tablet so I can draw while I'm there.

I leave for Door County on Saturday morning, and I will probably return on the Saturday after. I'll still be around today, but I'll probably be a little more busy than usual.
