I've come to the conclusion I need to invest in a better camera.

Back from MFF a day early, the con kicked my ass. Spent time with a bunch of wonderful people I don't see enough of and got a fair amount of pics.

The morning of the 7th there was an evacuation of the hotel for several hours. Apparently the particle detectors started going off on the 9th floor and within minutes alarms on other floors. People were commenting that it smelled of a gas leak, however this soon proved false as people started commenting that it "smelled like a pool" IE chlorine; The Hyatt hasn't had a pool for several years now. We were told by the hotel staff that someone in a storage room had knocked over some industrial-grade bleach and it spilled into the air vents. We had Police/Fire/EMTs coming in as far as 20 miles away.
Perhaps more disturbing are the rumors that prevailed after Decon teams came in. The words "Glass vial" "powdered chlorine" and "air vent" started circulating and then the word "intentional" came into play, which at the time of this post has been confirmed. 19 people were taken to local hospitals for various issues ,nausea, burning eyes, shortness of breath, headache.

Back from MFF, had a good time.

Ran into a bunch of people I haven't seen in awhile.

3) Old guy, maybe 50 or 60 years old with a mohawk.

Actually just blood. Took today to do some much needed work on the 'stang; and smash my fingers.

This years MFF was pretty good. Like any con it had its drama but these things happen.

I had a few camera issues. Saturday I ended up forgetting it at the house; and on Sunday it decided it was going to bitch about "Low Battery" when it still had a half charge left. So I didn't meet my self-imposed quota for the last few months of missed LAFF photos.

Lost my little brother, so Ive been out of it for some time now.
Work kicks my ass everyday and Ive been unable to go to the local furmeet because of the current schedule.
