Requests
Posted 13 years agoHey all, this is just to show that I'm still taking requests. My life is way too busy to take commissions. If you have a request just message it to me. I'm not guaranteeing that I'll do it soon or even ever. But if the mood strikes then I may draw your idea and if that happens I'll let you know. I still have one more picture to colour and then I'll be onto something new.
Guildlines are simple. No vore, gore, cub or scat and we are good.

Time to win some bread
Posted 15 years agoHey all. Off to work for a few months. Won't be online for bit but I'll hopefully have some new stuff to post when I get back. Have a good summer! :D
Suggest some artists to buy low price commissions from!
Posted 15 years agoSo I've decided that the money I made off of commissions I'd like to cycle back into the fur community. Anyone know some good smut artists who offer a lot of bang for their buck (tee hee, that's a pun)?

Posted 15 years agoGay Porn Vs. Gay Furry Porn
Posted 15 years agoSo I was thinking about the difference between gay furry porn and real life gay porn. I find that although I'm 'relatively' straight I still love to indulge in gay furry porn. I look at almost as much gay furry porn as I do straight. Real life gay porn on the other hand is generally unattractive to me. What I'm wondering is why that is.
Now some of you may be thinking, "We'll it's probably because deep down your a bi-sexual". Maybe that's the case to some degree or another, but I would have to say that so far I have never discovered any bi-sexual tendencies in myself except in the case of furry porn.
Maybe furry porn offers some kind of distance from the material. For someone like me who finds realistic gay porn a bit icky. Perhaps furry porn is far enough removed that I can enjoy it. The question I then must ask is - is my dislike of realistic gay porn not due to the subject matter itself but more due to what I see as some kind of break in 'the social acceptable'.
Finally I wonder if that is why a lot of furry artwork is prone to fetishism of some kind or another. Maybe it is distanced far enough from our societal norms, so seem as less of a taboo.

A few questions for the more experienced FA users
Posted 16 years agoSo basically I was wondering a few things about FA. A few days ago I saw an interview thing with Meesh and he was talking about how if you want to get the attention of the FA community you need to be visible and you need to create art that people can relate to. How does one become visible though? I assume it's simply by making a butt load of art but maybe there is more to it.
Second I was wondering about the nitty gittty behind taking commissions. At some point someone must have written a comprehensive guide to the whole process. I don't know what method is best for payment or how much a piece of art is generally worth. My major problem now is that it takes me a looooong time to finish a picture. Even if I charged 50 bucks I would still probably make only 4-5 dollars for every hour I worked on it. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. The difference would be that even though I could just pull an extra shift at work I would obviously enjoy drawing much more. This has been the main reason I've been on the fence in terms of if I want to do commissions or not. Plus I don't think I really have the visibility within the community to begin charging anything anyway.
Well, that's it. Any thought on these questions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
