Just so you know I'm basically spending this current week hammering through the last of what I owe, there'll probably be a few stragglers in terms of pieces I owe to friends, mainly a case of I'd rather do those on my days off, I prefer experimenting for trades, hehe~

"MOTHERFUCKER GOT A NEW LAPTOP!"
Well.. it's on 'loan' from my Flatmate... He's so nice to me I could cry ;3;
BUT YEAH HECK I've not been able to catch up on all the commissions I still had leftover from Eurofurence... and moving... Uh yeah I've been pretty bummed down with a lot of stuff that's been going on.. and this week I won't have much time to work on art, so I'll be doing a select few I already owe!
But that leads me onto something else... I do need to take on New commissions... pretty soon, so I was thinking of once I've got everything written down in terms of a schedule, I'll probably take on a handful of coloured sketch commissions either tonight or tomorrow... to be done in between works I already owe. I mean now I guess this is more or less my full time job, on top of housework, I'll have time for a few extra slots! nothing too complex... I'm thinking "wing it" commissions! haven't entirely settled on a price, but for the sake of making things easier for myself I'll be charging in GBP. uhh
well that's a few stray thoughts from the day.. I'll probably make another journal later this evening for if and when I open for commissions. cheers for reading!

Posted 11 years agoYo guys, little update on the front of "recovered files": everything is safe!
however my laptop is more or less kaput for now, so I'll be spending the next few weeks just working on traditional commissions and saving for something a little heftier than a sony vaio... hopefully I should have something by november at the latest!
Until then I'll hopefully have a temporary replacement, which DaveC is sorting out for me, just gotta get that all working, and I'll still be doing traditional commissions!
I've currently got 5 full body pinups to do, and a small handful of traditional icons, along with a pile of badges that I still need to sort out and post!
again I'm really sorry I've not been keeping up so far, life has this habit of getting in the way sometimes!

Posted 11 years agoSo uh... My laptop has kicked it (temporarily) and I'm in the process of trying to get it fixed, so please, for the love of god. DO NOT ASK ME ABOUT WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY LAPTOP, THIS IS NOT THE TIME OR THE PLACE FOR ARGUMENTS ABOUT HOW TO FIX AN UNDIAGNOSED PROBLEM, SO ZIP IT.
Now that is out of the way with... I still have means of browsing and posting (and scanning pictures) so this isn't a bad thing so to speak. I would firstly like to apologise to those currently waiting on commissions, if you'd like to email me in regards to what will happen with work on that front, feel free to, I should have a replacement sorted very soon! I'm incredibly sorry for the wait on commissions right now, I didn't anticipate being so busy, but I guess a lot has been piling up, and I've kept surprisingly calm (for the most part >.>) but alas: digital commissions are on an indefinite hold for the time being!

Posted 11 years agoSpecifically commissions, I'd like all of you that are currently waiting on me to cough up the goods to know that I'm hoping to get at least the majority of said work finished this month!
also I'd also like you to know that I'll be opening for a few slots for "TRADITIONAL MEDIA" commissions (ones that aren't even badges, whaaaaat?!) very soon!
It's been a crazy couple of weeks, I've literally been all over the place since getting back from EuroFurence (well... I've moved 300 miles south and that shit is expensive) so naturally I've been feeling a little bit stressed, under the weather, flighty, idk? weird... It's going to take a lot of getting used to, but for real It's lovely having so many friends around where I live, It's like being back at school only I get paid and pretty much no one is an asshole and it's great <3
OH YEAH

Well... This is awkward! (commission delays)
Posted 11 years agoRight guys, I know I said I'd be opening for commissions tonight BUT THE LORD ABOVE HAS DECIDED TO THROW DOWN HIS HOLY BASTARD UPSET... and now my laptop is having some issues connecting to the Internet. This isn't the only issue I've been having mind you! It's been running inexplicably slow; having near cardiac arrest-like moments when I try to save works, and in general BREAKING MY POOR LITTLE RABBIT HEART. *huff*
Dilute rant over for the most part, I'm gonna try and get it fixed as soon as I can, or at least to the best I can manage for now, though I'm afraid I'm going to have to cancel tonight's commission opening...
//HOWEVER// there is a bright side to this, sorta, I guess traditional commissions are going to be my main vice until I can sort this! I will be opening for a small selection of traditional works tonight around about he same time!
If you could all do me a favor and +watch my other account garnetto I'll be opening there! I should have a few examples up pretty soon, too! More on this as it goes I guess!

Well... This is awkward! (commission delays)
Posted 11 years agoRight guys, I know I said I'd be opening for commissions tonight BUT THE LORD ABOVE HAS DECIDED TO THROW DOWN HIS HOLY BASTARD UPSET... and now my laptop is having some issues connecting to the Internet. This isn't the only issue I've been having mind you! It's been running inexplicably slow; having near cardiac arrest-like moments when I try to save works, and in general BREAKING MY POOR LITTLE RABBIT HEART. *huff*
Dilute rant over for the most part, I'm gonna try and get it fixed as soon as I can, or at least to the best I can manage for now, though I'm afraid I'm going to have to cancel tonight's commission opening...
//HOWEVER// there is a bright side to this, sorta, I guess traditional commissions are going to be my main vice until I can sort this! I will be opening for a small selection of traditional works tonight around about he same time!
If you could all do me a favor and +watch my other account garnetto I'll be opening there! I should have a few examples up pretty soon, too! More on this as it goes I guess!

Commission Openings!

But hopefully once I have these last few pieces cleared I'll be opening on Friday! I might be cheeky and offer a few bits n bobs on twitter, but until then I have just a small number of works left to do!

Posted 11 years agoALL THE BADGES ARE FINALLY DONE WOW I SWEAR DOWN I AM SICK OF BADGES. But I'll probably be open again after Confuzzled... which brings me to my next point!
CONFUZZLED IS VERY SOON YEAH?
I'm gonna try my best to get the remainder of art I owe done before then, but please understand these last few months have been pretty intense for me, If you've emailed about a potential commission, please bear with me, I'll get back to you as soon as possible!
I currently owe:
3 pinups, which I'm going to aim to get done by the end of the week,
A full 2 character illustration, which I'm hoping to have done by Next monday at the VERY latest!
AND LIKE 4 DOORSIGNS?!
Prepping for cons is a ballache, but heck! I got my brosephine coming to stay next Tuesday so HECK THE HOLIDAY STARTS SOON?!
