Rainfurrest! - Quick runthrough of my con/charm commis info
Posted 10 years agoI had a great RF2015! I saw many friends again, and met a lot of great new people. I took the con crud home with me and feel like shit, not to mention recovering the the amount of booze I drank over the whole con. I had many jello shots, rum, and mlp sippy cups full of skittle vodka, thanks to the free skittles from the skittle fox. XD
Many cubs ran around drunk and on drugs, while at "diaperoke" (yes, Rainfurrest is such a goddamn cub con that the karaoke was renamed but it's appropriate cause most of the singing was comparable to the sound of a diaper being shit in) and the host got wasted while doing it, and ended up deciding the panel was no longer PG and that we needed music about "doing in the pooper" which I found hilarious to sit back and watch it all go down.
The cub party in one room got so big they had to be shut down when 80+ cubs/caretakers gathered in one hotel room. As much as Gene hated to disappoint the cubs and end the party he let us in on his little plan to rent out a full floor of the hotel for AnthroCon for an unofficial cubcon! Rub that in Kage's face! XD
We celebrated
kitfoxx's birthday, which I brought homemade rainbow cupcakes for, and of course I made a charm badge for the birthday boy. (pics soon) :3
We played "Gemma Jenga" super late one of the nights by piling foam blocks onto the sleeping baby
toddlergirl https://twitter.com/GemsDaddy/statu.....63311958347777 (There are pics on twitter!)
Ate lots of 7/11, a little bit of, Ihop, and Hawaiian BBQ, and washed it down with many gallons of alcohol. I don't want a diet like that again until next Rainfurrest. DX
My friend and roomie
shadekoba performed in the variety show, playing Whistle Stop/The Hamster Dance. I was able to get a good seat to watch thanks to
coolsquirrel who saved me a seat in the front row. :3 (no videos on youtube yet)
I stayed with
shadekoba
obanik &
thedoxfox and we all had a good time despite mostly running off to do our own things. We had a couple people crap out on us last minute and one who just didn't show up after saying she would be there the next day, but our room got paid for so I am happy. Just frustrated with how unreliable some furries can be, but I shouldn't be expecting any better by now.
I hung out with so many great people, so many things happened in such a short time, I've still not even fully adjusted my mindset of being back home to normal life.
I passed out a whole bunch of paw print charms to everyone I knew, or people I made a connection with or spent any time with, or just felt deserved one during this con. Also I'm VERY SORRY if you ended up getting one of the charms that came off the pin. I put a bunch of them together fast at the last minute. Next year I'll be prepared and I'll have the time to properly secure all the pins. If you still have your pin and wish to secure it yourself, I would suggest a tiny amount of gorilla glue or super glue to hold it in place.
As for the charm badges, the response from the friends who received them, as well as everyone else at the con was way more than I ever could have expected. I'm so glad that all my friends loved them, I couldn't have asked for a better reaction. To those who were interested in commissioning me; THANK YOU! I have heard you and will be taking commissions very soon. I'm still working out the details for pricing. The charms take me anywhere from 4-6 hours to complete depending on detail and any extra additions added. I want to offer a fair, and affordable price, but also want to make sure the time and effort I put into creating your custom character charm is worth my while too.
If you didn't end up running into me at RF2015 and don't know what I'm talking about, just wait and expect to see pictures of the charm badges I made for Rainfurrest very soon.
If the charm badges become a success (and so far they seem like they have a high potential to be)I will attempt to try and get myself into the Artist's Alley for next year at RF2016! Possibly something in the art show too.
Keep an eye out for the charm badge pics, and journals for commissions. When I open commissions I'll most likely only be taking a few slots at a time, so not to overwhelm myself, keep track, and avoid burnout.
See you all at RF2016!

Rainfurrest is in less than a month, who's going?
Posted 10 years agoWhich of you furfags will I end up running into?
I'm going to be rooming at the Clarion with a few others including
shadekoba
obanik
thedoxfox and some local "faggoat" I convinced to drag along with us who can't seem to make up his mind on what the fuck we should call him. Plus my friend from Seattle i'll be seeing again Liz will be in our room.
It's coming fast, and i'm still short on funds so I guess I won't be spending much more on anything but the essentials. (So you know the furry thing to do, spend all your money the first day on badges and beg everyone around you to feed you! lol) Yeah probably not much dealer's den shopping for me, and I might be living off 711 more than I'd like but I'm still excited. I'm looking forward to another great year and seeing all my friends again. See you there!

Is anyone who watches me still active?
Posted 10 years agoI haven't been active or posted a journal, or even hardly commented on anything in a few years. Was just curious if any of the furs who watch me are still active on here at all.
I pretty much use my FA journals to let people know I'm going to be at Rainfurrest each year. It's down the road but... just so you know I'll be at Rainfurrest 2015 this September.
I'm still somewhat active on Skype, and I still get on Second Life from time to time too. I hardly ever stalk Twitter anymore! XD That's pretty much the extent of my involvement in the furry community these days. However I'd like to socialize with anyone who's interested. I can just give you my Skype name and we can bullshit over whatever. lol
Who's still around here that would like to chat?

Who's going to Rainfurrest this year?
Posted 11 years agoSo it's been over a year since I posted a journal on here. Shows how active I am these days on fa.
However I thought I would see if anyone I know, or perhaps anyone new who might like to meet me would be attending. I'm not volunteering this year because I want to just have full and do whatever bullshit I feel like. So I will have nothing but free time this year.
So who's going?

Isolation...
Posted 12 years agoI feel much more isolated from the furry community than I used to be. Most likely because I have changed my lifestyle, and that the majority of the community that is still active seem to be missing the majority of their braincells.
I don't post much on my fa, I hardly comment on other people's journals or submissions like I used to.
To get past all the unnecessary reasons as to why I am disconnected from people, I would like to start reconnecting with people who I haven't talked to in a while. Anyone who used to talk to me but hasn't in a while have skype?

HEY EVERYONE! Read this journal about LitPup!
Posted 12 years agoHey guys!
So I want everyone to know that
litpup is a baby girl. She admitted it! That's right. A cute, little baby girl. She wants to wear big poofy girly dresses, and have tea parties, and play with dolls. She would appreciate it if you could call her Lily from now on. :3
So I want everyone to know that

Anyone else having problems with Hotmail?
Posted 12 years agoI have been trying to send out emails since yesterday, but hotmail won't let me send anything out. It is still not working today. Am I the only one experiencing this?

Crazy lady on the bus in downtown Seattle
Posted 13 years agoI live in downtown Seattle, and this is what happened to me today.
I had just gone grocery shopping and I had just got on the bus and this lady who was obviously intoxicated on something, she might have been drunk but by the looks of her she was on some pretty hard drugs, and she came on and was yelling at the top of her lungs for the bus driver to turn on the AC (of course there is no ac on these old buses we just gotta open the windows and tough through the heat) and she got up and went to the bus driver and again screamed at him to turn on the ac, and he told her that she needed to get off at the next stop. Then she turned around and asked me if I could move my stuff so she could sit down cause I had a grocery bag on the seat next to me. By this time I didn't feel very comfortable with this woman, and I certainly didn't want her sitting next to me, so I just ignored her and pretended I didn't hear. Then she asked again louder and attempted to grab my stuff so i grabbed it back and told her NOT to touch my stuff. Then she started getting violent and called me a fat fuck, and I didn't very much appreciate that type of a comment. I got up out of my seat and moved ALL my heavy groceries and was trying my best to avoid this woman. She didn't look like she was all there in the heat, and acted like she wanted to hit me. Then the bus driver threatened to call 911 and told her to get off the bus. I didn't get off at my stop cause that was the stop that she was being forced to get off at and I did NOT want to get off at the same stop as her. So I got off at the next stop and ended up having to walk around 4 blocks more than I usually do in the heat just to get home.
Needless to say, I really don't like living downtown in the inner city.
I guess if people like me writing journals I'll let them know what is going on in my life. Let me know if it is an interest.

Why don't people spell my name correctly?
Posted 13 years agoMy name is Chibii, yet people always seem to want to say Chibi and I don't understand why. Can they read?

Internship!
Posted 13 years agoI don't post many journals, but I am at a significant part of my life that I am proud of, and I feel it needs to be shared.
Six months ago I joined an internship readiness program that takes urban youth who would otherwise have no doors open to them for opportunities. I had no idea what I was getting into, but since then I have gained experience and skills in, IT, computer applications, business communications, and professional skills. I was placed in an internship at Liberty Mutual. Today was my second day. I have really grown as a person through this program.
My advice to everyone is to LOVE YOURSELF, and live for yourself first and others second. Love those people, but if you are living for others than you will never be happy or successful. If you don't take care of yourself, you can't expect to take care of other people. Everything will be fine if you just dedicate yourself to yourself.
I have gone from having nothing but a suitcase and coming to Seattle, being homeless, and building up on my life. I pushed all negativity out of my life, and welcomed the positive with open arms. Now I have my own studio apartment In Seattle, my own cubicle with my name on it, at an internship that will give me experience to jump start a great career. When I am done I'll have a kick ass resume, and a chance as a stable job that I can live comfortably on.
To all those who thought I couldn't do it, and to all those who wanted to hold me back from accomplishing something in my life, I just pity you. I have potential, and you thought I was weak. I am stronger than what everyone took me for, and proud to show it!

Posted 14 years agoHey everyone, it's christmas time so i thought it would be nice to share a short christmas special that I have watched since I was very little. Enjoy!
