Just making a journal to say that I'm alive, but life has really been taking a battering out on me. I've gone through a lot of bad stuff in the past couple of months and I'm finally, but slowly, coming out of the other side. In short, excluding a lot of detail, I'm rather depressed and any artistic muse I had, has now disappeared completely. This is my reasoning for my sparse uploads, but I'm hoping that an upcoming holiday to see my girlfriend will put my mind more at ease/give me some of my creative flair back, meaning more regular uploads (even if just sketches).
Until then, I hope everyone is okay, and I love you all and i thank you for your continued support and patience over these trying few months ♥ It means so much.

Just wanted to make a journal to wish everyone a wonderful holiday and new year season and that I hope, despite the losses this year, that you've had a wonderful time otherwise! Much love and prosperity to all of you and your families/loved ones And I hope everyone's upcoming year is a good one and that life hands you a sweet set of cards!
as for the iron artist thing, I'm looking into doing something like it after I've cleared my current commission queue to earn some more money in advance for my accommodation next year at university, and also having more money to see my datemate next summer! So I'd hopefully start it mid to late January!
I'd probably go for a drawing a day and I'd ask about $20 for a black and white drawing, or $30 for a super colourful rough painting (i'll upload examples later) it would be full artistic freedom + a case of pay to secure your slot! (refunds would be fully available in this situation provided your commission was not complete)!
I'd take 10 and finish 10, hopefully within 10 days, maybe sooner! I'd take them in blocks,, Would that be something you guys would be interested in?

So I'm in uni now, all settled in and getting used to my classes, so thats good, but i've been seriously ill for the past few weeks -- been hit with the most horrible freshers flu ever, to the point where i was bedridden for two days x_x i'm on the mend now but im still not feeling very good so if there is any art, It'll be personal stuff I'll be uploading seen as I'm finding it hard to draw at all, let alone do commissions <: ( im sorry to those waiting on a commission from me currently, I'll have them to you as swiftly as i can!
I hope everyone else is good too, and on an unrelated note, i love what FA did with the last site update :0 feels much more like an art website now

Posted 9 years agookay so, life update! : D I've settled really well into uni, first week is over so I'm getting to draw and I have my cintiq here now so art should be pretty easy to do! ^_^
Its so so nice here, met some of my classmates who are all really nice and I'm getting on really well with all my dorm mates/the people in my hallway! I also met another furry irl like, for real. who owns a fursuit and everything. and is generally Rly cool so c': heck yeah
as for commissions, to earn money on the side I think I'm gonna start doing regular YCH auctions because I'm not sure how much time i'll have to devote to traditional custom commissions :'0 so keep your eyes peeled for those!

Just making a journal to publicly share some pretty darn great news; in a few days I will be moving to University! This means that I'll need some time to settle there and get everything in order, so I wont be accepting commissions unless its a special-offer-journal or a YCH piece. I want to thank everyone who commissioned me to help me get everything I needed to go, it means so much to me
Also, holy hell, I hit 3.1k followers!!! Wowee!!! Thank you all so much again, for the support and the love <3 it really keeps me going when I wanna just. Throw all my art out haha
So yes, there we have it! Some exciting news and commissions are now closed <3 If you are interested in getting a commission when they reopen though, don't hesitate to let me know! I can add you to a prospective buyer's list and contact you/keep an eye out for you when I reopen them again ^_^

Also, some fantastic news: I earned enough to get myself the new laptop!!! WE DID IT FOLKS WE REACHED THE FINAL FRONTIER!! for those interested its the ASUS ROG 17" i7 16GB GTX 960M :" )) I'm SO EXCITED
it gets here tomorrow so there may be silence here for a few days, as I'll be living the high life and playing FFXIV + Overwatch at 60FPS :'3c I'm so excited ahH.

I updated my commission prices -- and I changed them into pounds, too. This is to make sure I have a proper idea of how much i'm earning (as I need to start seriously watching my money -- uni in September!) and to make bookkeeping easier:

The prices are almost exactly the same in USD (some are less expensive, some are more on the higher end), and I can do any math to do with conversion for those who are worried about exchange rates and paypal fees!

Posted 9 years agoin the wake of brexit and the absolutely CRASHING UK economy... I have to start rethinking how I charge my commission prices.
I'm appalled, scared, and absolutely furious at the vote to leave the EU. My future is fucked -- absolutely ruined by people who arent even going to be ALIVE long enough to see the severity of the effects of their own racism and intolerance of others.
there'll be increases and decreases to my commission prices as the worth of the pound changes -- right now, I'm not sure how im going to go about it, but I'm gonna start charging in pounds instead of USD, I know that for certain.

Posted 9 years agowhEW OKAY sorry for the absence here for a few days everyone, i just got back from a big ass road trip to lands end for a university interview (which went swimmingly, thank god) so I'm a little tired, but I'm back!
To anyone who has an outstanding commission from me, don't worry, I'm getting back on track with them! The massive bulk of the interview prep is out of the way, now I just have two more to attend and I'm all done : D so commissions will be completed ASAP and I'll also be taking more in the upcoming weeks!

Everything majorly important is booked -- so I'll be finishing off my remaining commissions and closing them for a while after just so I can catch a breather (uni interviews came at a bad time tbh)!!! I wanna also focus on realism and practicing humans bc I started playing ffxiv in what little free time I've had recently and it is SO much fun *_*
But for the trip though; I'll be attending Anime Boston 2016 for the whole weekend! On friday I'm gonna be Homura from PMMM, Saturday is sports jacket Maki from Love Live! and sunday could be either one : D I hope I get to bump into some of you, if anyone is going!!

In other news, I am very very quickly reaching my goal to seeing my girlfriend!! I'm so excited, it's definitely happening now and my mum managed to find more money to put towards it, so the goal isnt as tight ;v;
