Finally been discharged ✌️😷 with my parents and sister on our way back home. It’s about a 2 hour drive and I’m in a decent amount of pain. Still slightly medicated and took some more medicine, orally, and hope that it’ll kick in soon.

I have a gal stone almost the size of a golf ball stuck in my gal bladder that needs to be surgically removed. I’m in the ER right now (have been for a few hours) and I’ll be spending the night and having surgery tomorrow. I’ll have a more updated post sometime tonight once all the specifics are figured out with the surgeon.

My parents, sister, and I are going to be spending the summer traveling to every state in the US (except for Hawaii). If you want to meet up in person and hang out for a day or more please let me know! This has been a plan of ours for years & we finally have an RV! I'll be arting on the road and posting updates on my location and what dates we'll be where!

I was gone quite a while and I’m not fully back yet but I’m going to get back into art and posting content but I won’t be too big into socializing. Just give me a few more days to feel at least 75% better ❤️ I appreciate all the love and support I’ve been receiving! Recovery was extremely painful and I hadn’t realized how long the pain would last. I still cannot eat solid foods. I still have pain and need to take pain meds, and I still can’t talk, but my pain levels at their most extreme now is at a 7 which is a huge improvement from the constant 10 I was at before. Taking the full break away from work and socializing helped my stress levels so much.

Feel free to note me. I may take a few hours or even days to respond (all depending on my stress levels) but I will get back to you. I’ll be working on commission work slowly. The rest of my current batch I’m going to try and complete by the end of April so I can get back on track starting May 1st.

I wanted to let you all know that I’m getting a tonsillectomy next week on Monday. The recovery is 2 weeks but I don’t know if I’ll be offline that entire time. I wanted to give you all a week notice because after Monday I won’t be online for at least a few days. This means that any questions or concerns, be it my health, my commission work, etc. should be directed my partner  apocalypticevil. If anyone wants to send support or love to me please direct all messages to them as well as I’d much appreciate not having to do any socializing as I’ll be in a lot of pain and under a lot of medications.

If you’re unfamiliar a tonsillectomy is a procedure in which they remove the lumps of tissue in the back of your throat. Most people have tonsils that are very small and hardly cause any problems. Mine are over twice the average size and cause a lot of issues with my immune system, breathing, and eating. And while the procedure is pretty easy for children the older you get the harder it is to remove the tonsils and the longer the recovery time is as well as the pain. I’m definitely anxious and scared, but I’m excited to rid myself of something that has caused me a lot of grief for a very long time. Commission work will be on a short standstill unfortunately which I do greatly apologize for.
