PMS kicks my butt for about two days - two weeks depending on the stress I have to deal with.
It causes a lot of havoc on my system in ways I don't need to go into detail.

So, I'm gonna start my daily sketches again & gonna try to get two done a day until I'm feeling caught up again! That all being said,
|I may have to take a week off every month, just to take care of myself & make sure I don't let things get so bad that I'm out of commission for two weeks or so. I'm sure I'll figure it out. But for now, I haven't forgotten about everyone & I sure hope you haven't forgotten about me due to my inactivity the last week or two!

Hey all, thanks for stoppin' by the ol'e journal!

So, as some of you know, I never got my daily sketch finished or posted yesterday!
That's why I plan on getting it posted today with a bonus or two! : }

After the weekend, I may hold a raffle or just post a journal for one, (maybe first come first served, maybe not first come first served) free sketch! So keep your eyes open for that! Likely on a day where I finish a daily sketch a lot earlier than anticipated!

Thanks for your support! Reading my journals & commenting on/viewing my art means more to me than you might know! So, I'll try to keep posting daily ( on the week days at least!) to become a better artist & hopefully be able to draw more complex things for all of you with more confidence someday! : }

Hey all! This week was awesome! I kept a daily sketch going everyday so far!
I plan on doing one, every day, AT LEAST on the weekdays. There may be weekend days were I go for it, but most likely not this weekend!
I get time to stretch my legs so that's what I'll be doing! So, don't fret! If you actually follow me/like my art, I will be back on Monday! : }

I've been a bit more active & personally hope this keeps up!
I'm gonna keep sketching & drawing & try to post at least one sketch a day!
I'll try to do journal updates at least weekly with some sort of cute image to go along with the caption to show how I'm feeling or just show a piece I made in general.

I also would like to start doing at least weekly art streams! Please let me know your thoughts on that, where is the best streaming site for artists, how often would you like to see a stream, what time during the day ( along with your time zone) & what kind of offers i should make during these streams!

So, I'm in a fair bit of pain but it would have been worse were I to keep the tooth & potentially get a terribad infection.
It sort of just happened suddenly, but thankfully there was enough support to enable me to pay to get the tooth pulled.

In other news, I've been on the up & up with my art lately.
I'm back in contact with my old mentor & that helps make me feel a fair bit less depressed as they're always willing to help me excel & grow, which is just what I needed.
I felt so lonely & forgotton by everyone for so long. I do have my partner here to help, & he cheers me on, but it's not what I always need in terms of artistic support.
I've been getting back my muse & I intend to keep going!

The good ole laptop is still kicking but I can't do anything with it.
Telegram, Twitter, FB.. all sites I used to use to catch up & shoot the breeze with my friends or to help promote me here, are unusable by me because both my phone & computer are very poor quality.
The old laptop is just on it's way out & the phone was a lesser cheap phone that I needed to use my last dollars on, the cheapest of the cheap at the time, to replace my old phone when it was stolen from me. : { (Thankfully it has since been found.. ((in the place that myself, my boyo & a good manager looked at least ten times altogether. Out in the open. As clear as day...)) about half a year after the fact. It was fishy for sure but I'll let bygones be bygones. I don't /have/ that phone though, whih was also bottom of the barrel, however better it may be than this one, it still wasn't able to handle those sites well, or at all.

Now that you're all caught up with me in my personal life, to /hopefully/ have a better understanding, I bid you a good night/day, whatever it is for you & I hope to start getting back into the artistic groove & pleasing the eye again.
I won't lie. things have been more than my share of rough & it's taken a heavy toll on me, time & time & time again.
The most anyone could do for me right now is be there for me if they want to.
& boy how I wish some people still wanted to. : {
Anyways, now I'm just ranting. Forgive me, I'm tired, hungry & still in pain from the extraction.

As some of you may already know from reading my last journal, my uncle recently passed away.
It was a hard time for my entire family, but I took it especially hard since I am so far away from home.
My uncle and I were becoming closer in the last year, I was really looking forward to spending more time with him when I got home..
I'm too upset to deal with much, the majority of my aunts and uncles are sick and seeing them pass away is never easy, whether it's a surprise or if it's been coming for years.

To deal with this death and my health in general, I needed a lot of personal time. For that, I apologize as I was just getting back into the swing of things. It seems no matter how hard I try I just keep on getting knocked down.
I took time to mourn and rest, after that I started working out. I've been eating well & exercising for the last month, doing so in a very balanced manner as not to lose more weight but to gain strength. Slowly but surely, it's been proving effective. I feel mentally and physically healthier every day.
I'm still very sad but I'm still fighting.

My financial stability is not good. It never has been, but someday I'd like to think that it will be.
I keep practicing what little talents I have and my hopes grow higher everyday. I won't see any dreamed about outings or a nice home anytime soon, but if I just keep strong then maybe I'll be able to keep strengthening my assets and talents, enabling me to sell something to support myself.

If anyone's wondering, my computer is on it's last leg. As you know, the battery and hard drive are both going. the rest of it is very old and the poor thing putts away but it's really at the end of it's line.
It has been working out for me thus far, but I fear if I don't get a new one soon, that's the end of this for me. I'm not gonna lie. I'd love a computer that /works/ for social media, as this one doesn't allow me to use anything since it has such a hard time with Facebook, telegram, twitter, etc.
The three social networking tools that I seem to need these days.
I can still connect to Skype for some reason, but calls are an almost no-no.
I can still use Sai, thank goodness, and I believe I may always be able to until it gives up, but that feels sooner than ever before.. and I frankly am at a loss for what I'm going to do in terms of keeping up with anyone via FA or Skype then. I'll be completely shut off from people on the web.

Maybe I should just give up then? I dunno. I really don't want to. I just don't.
I'd like to be able to catch up with my friends from time to time and sell digital art, characters, designs, etc. and eventually start up my fursuiting business but no money means no investment and no investment means, you guessed it, no money.

I feel like I'm just jabbering now. Who's gonna really care?
Probably plenty of people, just not enough to buy from me right now so I can actually have a future here.
Or that's how I feel anyways.
Am I gonna keep trying, despite health issues, despite deaths, despite soon not having a computer to work from? Yes. Just keep in mind, the reason I keep disappearing is because I don't have the amount of support I need to continue here strongly. I need a better foundation, and that means monetarily. So, here I go again. Sad, but determined. I haven't given up thus far, why give up now?

Didn't mean to make the journal title rhyme, but I'm grieving & I just need one more day before I'm active on here again.
|He passed suddenly away on Canadian Thanksgiving. I'll be missing his funeral as I'm far from home try to make ends meet. He was proud of me for stepping out of my comfort zones & trying despite my depression & anxiety. He knew about my demons but always lent me an ear. Being the stubbornly inward person that I am, I barely spoke to him but I love him & I will miss him so dearly.
I wish I had the money to attend his funeral, but he understood I could barely keep food on the table.
I'm doing the best I can & I know he would be proud of me for that alone.
Please bare with me during my small hiatus & I'm sorry I haven't said anything until now.

I just wanted to say thank you to those of you who have given input & helped me to figure out what I'm going to do with chip! Infact, I'm colouring her final form(s) here now on my brand new German Shepherd base! I feel like the simpler, more accurate lines for the German Shepherd are definitely a bit less cluttered & it makes it easier to imagine/see the design in full. Same pose, but imporved anatomy & simplicity. Slightly different style. Closer to my general style.
I'm pretty excited to debut the lines with Chip's new design!
Honestly, everyones participation & interest lately means a lot to me.
If that keeps up I may be hopeful to get my business on the go sooner than thought!
Taking custom character designs, reference sheet commissions & selling adoptable characters are things I love.
I'll be redoing most of my bases & making new ones while I take reference sheet commissions & work on my digital painting abilitys, sharing images with you as I go along.
Continuing to support me will keep me here to draw for you guys & help to put food on my table!

I am in need of money, as per usual, but my following always seems to dwindle & disappear either when I need help most or when life kicks my ass.

So, turns out I just wasn't fond of the execution or sketch base of my original speed paint. Not enough heart, substance or double checking went into the one for Sally. Her form looks overall sloppy & I wasn't even happy with it. I just wanted to practice.
So, I'm working on a new speed paint & I'm so happy! It's turning out how I'd like & I'm pretty excited to show y'all once I finish!
I may take a couple commissions for these if you end up liking the new one. But only two for now since I'm still just getting used to them & what should take me about two hours can take me up to 5.
So, I'll basically be selling two on a huge discount just so I can get a bit of mools & make up for my time.
I also have another commission to work on so I don't want too many other committments.
Sketch update. I said I'd do two & I ended up doing four. I will do the other 8, I need the practice & it helps to keep me motivated. Plus, I love giving back to you guys when I can.
