Posted 13 years agoI had lots of fun this year! I met some Homestucks although I forgot to ask for any of their info. :/ Luckily one of them thought to ask me which was awesome. 413 I wore my Karkat shirt which made it easier to locate the other Homestucks in the area. Everyone was really nice.
I didn't manage to get into artist ally on Friday but I sold on Saturday which was cool. I had some take home badges so I'm going to work on those tonight and tomorrow and get them mailed out. Thank you to all those who commissioned me. <3 I'm going to go ahead and upload my example badges later this week and open commissions online when I'm all caught up on badges from the con.
Next convention coming up for me, steampunk expo and colossalcon. (:

IFC and Stuff
Posted 14 years agoSo I finally finished all my doodle requests. I had a lot of stuff to deal with at home so it took longer then I thought. :/ Still, it was super fun to do and now that I've finished them I can move on to getting ready for IFC and artists ally. I need get all good and ready, so I will start working on stuff for that.
I'm really excited about this con because my younger sister,
thescootster will be going with us. :D It's her first fur con and I'm hoping she'll have lots of fun.

Posted 14 years agoUgggggggggh. I have been exercising lately and with me being out of shape it is a pain. Literally. lol Either way, I'm also in the process of job hunting and finishing up my free doodles I owe some people. Hopefully I should get those bad boys down this week. :D
Maybe if I'm a good girl and get my artwork done I can play some Persona 4 soon too. <3 That game is beauty unmatched.

Holy shit, free doodles
Posted 14 years agoSo I need to do some art to get me back in the swing of things for upcoming cons. I saw this in a journal of 
jaslyn and thought, hey sounds like fun. So here you go folks.
Here are the only rules I really care about here (i slimmed them down):
•comment here, with your character's name, and
a reference or two.
• This is for everyone, so don't think you can't get a free doodle simply because someone else beat you to the punch.
•one character/doodle per person please
I can't imagine many will actually want my art but I'm just following the rules and offering it up anyhow. lol
Edit: Oh my. I did not expect to get so many requests. O_O I'm gonna have to say that requests are closed now. Those who have requested so far will get doodles of their characters from me. It may take a little time but I will contact each of you when I'm done. Each doodle will be done purely in pencil. I will scan them and post them when they are complete. :) Thank you again for your help guys!! <3

artful-dodger went to FCN and had lots of fun! I only sold for like a couple of hours on Friday but I made some money and more importantly i made friends! : D I spent most of the con in the hotel room but a lot of people chilled out with us the different days. During the con I wore my Karkat shirt and actually found some Homestuck fans there which was cool. One even commissioned a badge with her fan trolls on it which was lots of fun. I also got to go to a rave, after the con was actually over on Monday morning at like 1 am. Me and Dodger danced around with glow sticks to silly music and had lots of fun. This year the furry charity was for greyhounds and the greyhounds they had there were ADORABLE. Me and Dodger are thinking in the future we might adopt one. They told us you can get cat compatible ones.
Overall a great con. I wish my sister could have gone but were dead set on making the first con she goes to BADASS for her. The next con is Morphicon and its May 12th - May 15th. I hoping MAYBE we can take her there. It's Alice and Wonderland theme. Dodger is helping me so I can dress like Alice. Fingers crossed! <3

I'm back and plan on getting back to updating. As such, I'm going to step up my game and get to work drawing! Despite the busy holiday season I look forward to being on FA more and getting in touch with people. I had lots of fun at MFF though I spent most of it outside of the con. Mostly at the hotel with Dodger working on art or out on the town getting food. : ) FCN will probably be my next stop and I plan on selling art there this year as I did last year. So lots of work and fun up ahead.
