So I was listening to some music today and I thought of something fun to do for shits and giggles. Name a song that you would say describes your first relationship and link the music video! :3 When I think about my first mate I'm sorry to say, but the first song that pops in to my head is Hot n' Cold by Katey Perry.
I don't think any song describes what my first mate was like better then this song. XD You know what, I don't care what you say, I'll watch this video just to see the Priest bouncing to the beat XP.

So this is a little late, but I wanted to let you know that I finished college just last June. I've taken some time to myself, but now this gecko is busying herself with trying to find a job, while also working on some side projects. I'm super excited to start working! Maybe then I can finally get some commissions going again. ^.^ So yes I haven't fallen off the edge of the earth. One thing I haven't had a chance to do is catch up on all the watchers I'm getting. For those of you who haven't gotten a thank you from me yet, thank you so much for the watch, I will try my best to be entertaining.
Aside from finishing school not much new has been going on in my life. I recently got to see the movie 'Brave' which I adored! I 'finally' got around to finishing off the second season of Game of Thrones, and I've been reconnecting with some friends whom I hadn't got the chance to see that much while I was in school. It's finally starting to heat up here in Canada, which is actually kind of nice since we've been getting a whole lot of rain. Oh and I guess I should mention my Birthday is slowly approaching, on August 4th this lizard will be turning 24.
Well that's all the updates I have for now ^.^

Posted 13 years agoGoodness!! I look away from FA for a short time, and the moment I look back I'm sitting at over one thousand watchers. Its a little late, but I just wanted to say thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. ^.^ I'm very glad that so many of you enjoy Chloe, and I hope I can please you in the future.
Also a big, big thank you to all the artists I've commissioned, and who have gifted me. After all they're the ones who helped make Chloe a reality. I know this all sounds mushy, but still, thank you all so much for watching!! *Hugs for all*
On a side note I've finally reached my final semester of school, so things are busy and stressful as I scramble to put a portfolio together. Hopefully this lizzy will be able to get a job very soon once she's out! As such this of course means I'll be less active on FA. I'll always be back though!

For Those of You Wondering
Posted 13 years agoA few of you may have noticed that I haven't been replying to my comments and such lately. Don't panic I'm not ignoring you. Its just that finals have rolled around once again and I have been working my butt off to get final projects completed and handed in. As such I haven't really had time, to sit down and do a mass reply.
I'll still post up new art as it comes in, but other then that I'll only be replying to a few comments here and there and that's about it. Oh and thanking people for the watches of course. <3
Once finals are over and I'm on my vacation again I'll likely eventually return to my normal routine. I also might be going on a camping trip during my break for a couple days so that will be awesome!! :D Well anyways thats all I got to say, just a little update.
I'll still post up new art as it comes in, but other then that I'll only be replying to a few comments here and there and that's about it. Oh and thanking people for the watches of course. <3

Hm this is actually surprisingly hard for me to pin down. If I had to just pick one I would say that my biggest fear is loosing touch with the people I love most. As I said in an earlier posting, I don't think I'd be the cheery person I am with out them.
Confession 2: Worst Nightmare.
My worst nightmare involved me lying on a couch while spending time with a friend of mine. He left the room to go get something and I decided it was time for me to get up, but when I tried to get up I found I couldn't move. I was paralyzed in place and I felt myself starting to panic, so I tried to shout for help but my voice wouldn't come out. Then slowly I found it was getting harder and harder to breath, like my throat was just closing up. I kept trying to call for my friend but nothing came, I remember thinking to myself. "Am I going to die?" I awoke from that nightmare gasping for air and in a cold sweat. That was probably my worst.
Confession 3: Something you wish you could forget.
I feel like this is going to make people roll their eyes, but quite honestly at this point in my life there's nothing I wish I could forget. Even the really hurtful and embarrassing things. I'm a firm believer of the idea that we learn from our experiences, and those are part of what makes us strong as well as who we are. Memories are precious good or bad.
Confession 4: Best dream.
My best dream is honestly any dream where I become lucid and I'm able to take control. It happens very rarely, but I've had them before. Most of the time I just end up doing pervy stuff >.> What!? Don't look at me like that, its my dream!
Confession 5: Favorite memory.
I can't just pick one memory, so I'm going to cheat here. My favorite memories come from the time I spend in Japan, Korea, China and Hong Kong with two of my closet friends. Some of my fondest memories are climbing the great wall, looking over the landscape of one of japans mountains, and our final night in Hong Kong.
I remember it quite well, I was relaxing on the bed playing my Gameboy SP (Final Fantasy II), across from me in the bathroom one of my close friends was playing Gameboy on the toilet (Because there's an outlet in the bathroom, not because of pooping XD) sitting to the right of me near the hotel coffee table was a guy named John that we met on the trip and became friends with, and to the left was another girl we met, who was currently sewing. We weren't even really talking to one another, we were just all really relaxed doing our own thing since we were tired out from so much touring. For some reason that night just made me feel happy, it was peaceful.
Confession 6: Worst experience.
My worst experience was probably when I found out my partner had been cheating on me ever since we had been dating. I didn't even break it off because I was letting stupid love blind my judgment. That person cheated on me again down the line, and broke it off with me over the phone with their new lover in the room with them tickling them. Never again.
Confession 7: Biggest pet peeve.
Ooh my, I have a lot of pet peeves, but I'll pick one that currently comes up the most in my life. People who walk slow! Now don't get me wrong, if you walk slow, fine I'm not saying your a bad person for it. Its only when the slow walkers fan out and take up the entire god damn walkway/stairs. I'm sorry but some of us want to actually be somewhere on time, or catch a train before the doors close, so for gods sake move your ass to the side! Stop fucking blocking me! D:<
Confession 8: Something you're paranoid about.
People disliking me/being annoyed by me. I can't help but feel annoying since I bug people all the time when I'm bored and talk a lot. < What Strawberry said.
Confession 9: What you thought of your current best friend when you met them.
"Wow you're really weird. Its awesome!"
Confession 10: Your strongest principle/belief.
We were made for happiness and we were made to connect with one another.
"For general, agreeing with Ryun: Once a cheater, always a cheater. Also tied with: Once a liar, always a liar." Based on a confession I made moments ago I can fully agree with these
Confession 11: What annoys you the most.
Extremists. "Any" extremists, from religious extremists, to green extremists, etc etc. They're simply pissed off, whiny, narrow minded jerks who express willful ignorance and on top of that feel like they represent their cause 100%. In reality all they do is hurt the cause they're fighting for, and make those people look like assholes. I don't care if you had some sort of bad experience in your past, grow the fuck up and shut the fuck up.
Confession 12: Something you want to do before you die.
This is going to sound so corny, but I want to fall head over heals in love, and I want to travel the world with that person.
Confession 13: Biggest regret.
I regret being such a hostile person in my early high school days. I ended up turning away some potential friends as a result.
Confession 14: Hidden talent.
I apparently have a knack for scaring people and thinking up creepy scenarios. Its why I want to work on survival horror games. <3
Confession 15: Favorite thing about yourself.
I'd say my dark sense of humor. I really think more people need to loosen up nowadays. I feel like in the past we weren't "PC" enough, and now I think we're too "PC". All I know is, I can cheer people up and make people laugh, and that's what I love about it.
Confession 16: One thing you would change about yourself if you could.
I'd like to have more self confidence and be more assertive. Everyday I try to work harder to achieve that, and since high school I've made a lot of progress. Still some of that shyness still lingers and its something I truly want to conquer.

Recently my worst habit is saying the word "like" to much while I'm talking. A habit I'm trying to kick X.x

All my friends are important to me!

To be honest I wish I was a little better at art. I actually own some drawing books and sketch pads, but I feel like I just don't have the drive for it.

Back in high school a guy in my acting class told me that I inspired him to take the class because he really enjoyed my acting. That was probably the biggest compliment I ever got. Beyond that I feel extremely happy when my classmates compliment me on my level design for our game.
Confession 21: What you hate most about society.
Corrupted Religion, the Government, Drug Addicts, Alcoholics, and people who cannot think for themselves. - Agreeing with Ryun
Also, kids these days. I really dislike most of my generation, which is sad.
I agree with whats a above and I know it probably goes with out saying but, I just hate how horrible people are really capable of being. Throw willful ignorance up there too, because it really is a serious problem in this modern day.

There's a lot of things ^^;; I cry at both really sad and really happy things. Mostly in shows, movies, and even video games. I'm just a big baby D:

Just being generally silly with my friends, the things we've done together in the past has made me laugh to tears. I also like to laugh at myself, like when a friend warns me that a log is slippery, and I nod my head, then slip on it anyways.
Confession 24: Most treasured possession.
This is going to sound horribly nerdy but my NES and the games that go with it is one of my most treasured possessions. Its what started my passion for games in the first place.
Confession 25: Something no-one expected you to like.
It seems no one expects it. I really love goth girls and goth boys. I just find the style very sexy and appealing, even if I don't dress in it myself.
Confession 26: Strangest hobby.
Traveling the world collecting the farts of down syndrome children, to power fart cars... I don't actually do that, I just think it would be one of the strangest hobbies.

My biggest ambition is to become fluent in Japanese and work for Atlus in japan. I love the games they make, and its a dream job of mine.

I used to believe that if I drove around in an ice cream truck, I'd get to eat ice cream all day long.

I actually believe in ghosts and spirits. I just feel that everything in this world can't 'always' be what it seems. I just feel that there are things out there that we as humans can't begin to understand yet.

Affectionate, cheery, silly, crazy, honest, hopeless romantic, thoughtful, optimistic, pervy, open minded.

To me, I've always seen this day as a time to express love, and this doesn't necessarily mean it has to be with a significant other. We all show our love for our family and our friends everyday and in many different forms. So on a day like this, I like to vocalize that very love.
To all my friends here, and those who care for me I want you to know. I love you, and I'm happy to have met you. I can't imagine my life with out being surrounded by such caring and supportive people like yourselves. I count myself as a very lucky and a blessed lizard to have such a wonderful family, and such amazing friends

Second of all Hey everyone!! Thought since I would be posting a journal for this anyways, I may as well also give a general update. There isn't much new with me aside from college, been working hard with my team building our game. If you'd like to see some neat concept art for it go here.

Jerbie is not only a fantastic artist, but also our lead designer. If not for the concept art, check him out for his dragons and bellies! He's a fluffy dragon! What more reason do you need!? :3 Aside from school I've 'finally' started playing Arkham Asylum, and I'm enjoying it greatly so far. The joker never fails to crack me up, even if he is one psycho bitch! :D Lets not forget Harley Quinn <3 Just god damn, I need to get art with me and her some day. I've also been in a very sciencey mood lately and have been watching lots of documentaries on the cosmos, multiverse, and curiosity episodes. Ever heard of the Milgram experiment? 0.0 Holy damn.
Also I've grown addicted to a little indie soundtrack called "Symphony of Science". If you're in to relaxing electronika style music I "highly" recommend this album. Its such good stuff. Yes I'm aware my life is very boring and uninteresting, only other thing I can think of is that I bought a new skirt! It's so pretty!! <3 <3

Back to class
Posted 14 years agoWell its been a good break, but its back to college for this lizard.
New years eve was wonderful, and so was my break. I see a lot of people talking about the year in review, so I suppose I'll give a few of my own thoughts. Over all its been a good year, I've been accomplishing a lot in school and I've been making a lot of new friends, not to mention getting in to the furry community a lot more. So I'm a very happy gecko.
My goals for this year? Quite frankly my biggest is to get myself in to the game industry and start working. It's not even that far off anymore, this semester is my second to last, and I'll be out of school in June. I'll be busting my cute little butt to get my foot in the door and start doing what I love. Beyond that I'd like to try and get a lot more hikes in this spring, because I loves to go hiking!! <3 <3

Anyone ever think that maybe the Mayans just didn't think the world wasn't going to be around this long? Well never mind, so I'm just doing a little update. I only have three days left in my holiday before I head back to school. I'm quite excited mostly because I don't have weekend classes this time around, yay!! :D The first few weeks of school tend to be the least busy so my activity should still be fairly high until finals come around again.
Right now this lizard is actually in Seattle visiting a friend, but I'll be heading back home tonight. I ended up getting some money for Christmas and I plan on devoting some of it to some new commissions, so look forwards to those. ^.^ I have some really good (and naughty) ones planned >:3 Other then that I'm super excited for new years eve, even though I'm not quite sure what I'm doing yet. I might be rocking out with
Temrin and 
Zee. but I'm not quite sure yet X.x
Oh and I have something horrible I must bring up. I got Deus Ex: Human Revolution for Christmas. (Which is awesome by the way.) I was playing it Christmas morning and I couldn't help but think to myself. "Hmm I'm playing Deus Ex on Christmas day....You could say I'm having a, Deus Xmas, Oh ho ho ho ho ho ho"....Yes I'm aware I deserved to be slapped for that one X3

Posted 14 years agoWell as usual Christmas is sneaking up on me again this year. One more day and it will be Christmas eve, which to be honest, I'm quite excited for. My family likes to get together to have a traditional Ukrainian dinner every year. It's a big feast with several courses including perogies, cabbage rolls, borscht, salmon, etc. I just love being with my family during the holidays, something I always took for granted as a little girl.
Since we're on the topic of Christmas I thought I would give my own two cents on a small issue that's been surrounding North America. That;s right I'm going to talk about this whole "Happy Holidays" thing. :P Now now! Hold your tomatoes and hear me out. Now if you're not from Canada or the U.S. then let me briefly explain. Recently it has come to terms that saying "Merry Christmas" is insensitive since the other person might not celebrate Christmas, so people are trying to motivate others to say "Happy Holidays" instead because its politically correct.
Now to be honest, I don't really have a "BIG" issue with this like some do, however, its not really the words that bother me its the motivation behind them. I mean you can say "Happy shut the fuck up" for all I care if that's what you like saying, but its the idea that we're being pressured to say something else that bothers me. About a year ago I was talking to my grandfather about this whole hub bub and he probably said one of the wisest things I had heard, which was. "If someone said to me Happy Hanukkah, then I would say back to them Happy Hanukkah". My grandfather was Christian of course, and didn't celebrate Hanukkah. It's the idea that it doesn't matter what you celebrate, when someone wishes you good feelings from a tradition of their religion, is it so wrong to just wish those good feelings and cheer right back to them?
Well I don't know, that's just my two cents on the matter. So whatever you celebrate sweets, this little gecko wishes that the coming days bring you nothing short of joy and warmth.

I'm not officially on holiday! All my classes are done and all of my projects are handed in. A partner and I completed a game called "Two Feet Under" in our game engine programming class where you play as two little submarines in a fish tank. Its a two player game and I have to say I'm very pleased with how it turned out!
Oh and more big news! The big game project I'm currently working on (Catacomb) got featured in one of our local Newspapers "The Vancouver Sun" They even shot a video! Here's a link if you'd like to check it out.

I'm not in it, but our Lead Designer and Producer are in there ^.^ This is extremely exciting for all of us. Our game is currently still in the Alpha stage, and our work will continue on it in our next semester. I'm one happy little lizard. *Bounces around*
So now that I'm back I'm going to be a little more active provided I'm not running around with my family preparing for Christmas. Just want you to know I missed all you sweet hearts, especially some certain someones. You know who you people are :3 Oh! one more thing I got my scaly little fingers on a brand new phone. I'm finally part of the touch phone era now XD and with all the things I can do with it, I've decided to create a Twitter account because....Well I don't know, why not? I only have four weeks left this semester and a bunch of big projects I need to complete. This means I have to take a little focus away from FA (and everything else for that matter) and focus more on school. Some of the projects I'm working on include a little tycoon style game called "The Speakeasy" which is based on a 1930s speakeasy during the prohibition. If all goes well it will be posted up online and I'll be able to link it to those who might be interested.
Well anyways, just wanted to talk about whats going on with me. Just a lot more work and a lot less sleep X.x My semester will be ending on Dec.18 and I'll get a nice two week vacation for the holidays so expect to see me become a lot more active around that time. Until then I hope you're all doing good and look forwards to more arts! I have two coming for December and I plan on getting more after Christmas!

I just recently got back from my very first furry meet up (Howlloween). I was pretty nervous at first, but after my friends Temrin and Zee. dragged me on to the dance floor I loosened up a bit. I had a blast and met some really awesome furs. ^.^
I ended up spending most of the night dancing, its been a while since this gecko has worked up such a sweat, but it was so much fun. What can I say, I just love to dance :3 It was also my first time seeing fur suiters. I didn't realize how soft and fluffy you all are! D:< I wanted to ask for hugs from most of them but I was a little too shy. Still I did get some hugs so I'm happy.
Well anyways this is just a ramble journal. I had a great time, and I would love to go to more fur meetups like this from now on. Oh! Also Zee. introduced me to this place called Fat Burger. A burger and a mug of beer for 12 bucks! <3 Beer beer beer <3

Its nice to see so many others who are fans of this day! It might be on a Monday night, but that's not stopping this gecko from getting smashed!! :3 I haven't quite decided on a costume yet but I have a few choices to go with ^.^ My classmates are having a get together to party! So that's where I'll be, how about you?

Wrapping things up! Movie # 4
Posted 14 years agoWell due to college I didn't really get to do as many of these as I wanted, but I'll give you one more before my favorite Holiday arrives! One more time, for those of you who might be reading for the first time, I've been writing out my thoughts on a few horror movies to celebrate the coming of my favorite month and season of the year. Just some thoughts for the fun of it, with out further a due here's the final movie!
Now this is one more of you may have herd about. "Rec."
If you haven't heard of this, then you may have at least herd of Quarantine. Rec. is the movie Quarantine is based off of. I confess that I haven't seen Quarantine, but all I can say is a really enjoyed Rec. ^.^
The story starts with a reporter hosting a show called "While You're Sleeping." where she visits places that run at night. (I molest you while you're sleeping shhh X3) In this case its a fire department, and things pick up when a call is made about a woman trapped in her apartment, and things only get creepier from there.
Now I should note this movie might not be for everyone. There's a lot of scenes that are quite mundane, but I feel it really fits the style and makes the setting seem all the more realistic. On top of that, this movie is tense! I mean holy fuck! 0.0 The characters are very believable in their very high stress situation, and although I wouldn't say there's a lot of scary parts, the parts that are scary are genuinely chilling.I'd certainly recommend this one for a watch with some friends.
Well those are my thoughts, and hopefully I didn't bore you all to death with these little Journals XD I had a lot of fun doing this, and I'm always happy to recommend other horror movies. Posted 14 years agoSchool keeps this lizard busy, but she hasn't forgotten about this little marathon yet! So once again, for those tuning in I'm celebrating the coming of fall and October by talking about some horror movies you may or may not have heard of. Just some random thoughts!
With that said lets talk about Feast! <3
Tired of horror movies with all that silly plot? Do you want to just get to the killing already? Then Feast is your kind of movie! Let me start by saying I love this movie! Its got a plus six in kickass! Its your typical campy gorefest kind of movie, and its highly entertaining. The story begins at a shady bar out in the middle of nowhere. We're introduced to our main characters one by one in a role call fashion. The movie displays their name, title, age, life expectancy, etc. (This is also hilarious by the way) When suddenly "The Hero" bursts in through the front door holding a gun and stained with blood. He says there's some kind of fucked up monsters chasing after him, and everyone in the bar needs to defend, and that's just the beginning
Its the kind of campy horror that gets you pumped up for a wild ride of blood, gore, sex and comedy. I don't want to spoil to much of this movie, all I can say is if you want some mindless fun, then I highly recommend you check this movie out! Gather up some friends, get some drinks, and have yourself a good laugh! (Seriously! You get to see a guys face get ripped off! Go go go!) :D

Posted 14 years agoFor those of you who may have just started reading, I'll fill you in on what this is all about. In celebration of October, my favorite month of the year, and the coming of fall I've decided to watch and talk about some Horror movies you may or may not have seen. Not really reviews just some thoughts about the movie, just doing it for fun and because I love horror <3 I'll be doing about two each week so I hope you'll enjoy reading and watching ^.^
Next up is a movie called "Nine Miles Down"
For those of you who enjoy Supernatural/Psychological horror movies, this one will be a real treat!
The story follows a man named Tomas Jackman who is part of a security organization. He's sent to the Sahara desert to investigate a drill site, as all contact with the site had been lost. What are my thoughts on this movie? I'll tell you my thoughts, go watch this movie!! X3 This movie was released in 2009 and although its ratings weren't exactly high I'm willing to say its an underappreciated gem. This movie is a creepy ass joy ride that will keep you guessing. Seriously! from beginning to end my friends and I kept being all "Oh shit we know whats up!...Wait wait no its actually...oh shit wait!!" and so on.
This is one of those rare movies that actually takes the time to build atmosphere and tension, rather then scare you with cheap jump scares. There are some jump scares, but the movie doesn't relay on them to bring the creep factor. That's the problem I have with most modern horror movies. I'm sorry but making a loud noise isn't scary, sure its startling, but its not scary. I could easily jump out at you and shout "BOO" really loud, and you may be startled but I doubt you'd be scared after that. But I digress, the point I'm trying to make here, is this movie is meant to have you on the edge of your seat before and after the jump scares, and that is what I believe to be good horror.
So go check it out! I promise it will be worth a watch, even if you don't scare easy! ^.^
