Also a Telegram channel where I post WIP. Would you prefer that instead of my Twitter account ? I can do all 3 (Twitter, Telegram & Discord) so just say which one you prefer. Although it's in my nature to forget so maybe sometime I'll post on one and completely forget the others lol.

Instead of posting everything instantaneously as soon as I finish it, I'll pile up some picture / animation I've worked on and finished & then I'll post them semi-regurlarly. Don't worry, you won't get an absurd art spam, but depending on how many I've piled up, you may get 1 per 2 days, maybe multiple in one day if I want and depend on what it is.
I won't always do that, but most of the time I'll do it.

FA old layout ?
Posted 5 years agoIs it me or they changed the old layout a bit ? It's subtle, but they did.
Like when you click on a text box (Like the comment for example), you can see around the textbox an highlight to tell you easely that you selected it. Same when you select something from your submission notification. The checkbox is way more pronounced.
Little details but a lot of the time, these little details matter.
Like a good example of this I've seen in a video and never noticed before. In breath of the wild, did you notice that when they show you the button you need to press, they also show every other button around it but grayed out + the button you need to press normally ? It's a REALLY small details, but for people that don't know the button by heart, it can help them in the space to know where is the button from the other button. That way, they will look less where is the button and rather concentrate more on the game. Extremely little touch but really important.

AnnoAD Amaterasu/Krystal texture replacement.

Well, somebody named
AnnoAD made a texture pack / skinpack varient for the models which is our goddess & mother to all, Amaterasu :3
But now, I asked myself this question... I want to use Krystal & Amaterasu in the same scene. Well, I'll just spawn Ama and then Krystal and.... oh yeah. Ama IS Krystal, but with Ama's texture... hum... Anyways, I tried multiple thing to make this work and finally, I've did it. And that journal is for all of you people that want to do the same thing. Here is what you need to do:
Keep in mind the model you will do it to need to have Amaterasu texture at the moment. This is not Krystal -> Amaterasu. This is Amaterasu -> Krystal.
Go in the animationset editor and right click on the model you want to change from Ama texture to Krystal. Click on "Add Override Materials".
Now, right click again on the model and this time, go to "Show in Element Viewer > Model".
This should bring you to the element viewer. From there, go at the bottom where it says "Materials" and expand the selection. After that, you need to right click on one materials and then "Add Attribute > string". You will be asked to give it a name. You give it "$basetexture" (Case sensitive). And you do the same thing for EVERY SINGLE MATERIAL. After that, you need to copy the mtlName of every materials (To find it, just expand the material) and paste it onto $basetexture. Some of them will have black & pink square texture, it's normal we will fix them after. Now, after you did it for every materials, there are some that need to be changed to work correctly. Below is every material and their path that need to be changed. Just copy it & paste it and you should be okay :)

About the reminder... THANK GOD. Finally we won't have 3 million reminder for the same thing in the span of 1h. This give so much breathing room. I'm pretty sure my notification are atleast 30% of reminders because of that.

Most influential growth moment of my life
Posted 6 years agoBasically, I decided to make this journal to tell you about some of my most influential growth moment of my life, starting as a kid. These moment defined the shape of what I love for growth & macro.
We say a lot that the most inflential time of our life that will define our sex love is our kid life. That's why there is a lot of Pokeporn everywhere. Anyways, this guy explain it way better than me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oc9PJ-5Hilk
So of course, this mean my most influential moment are also as a kid, and right now, I can think of 2 major moment in my life. One come from a videogame and the other from a anime.
First one: Bakugan. Razenoid fight/growth
I was always a fan of Bakugan. Btw, I absolutely despise the new show, Bakugan Planet. Since I finish watching it, this was always a big growth moment in my life. And today is still one of the source I go for growth. I simply love that growth in particular. So smooth, so magestic. Amazing
Second one: The legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. Puppet ganon fight.

New UI
Posted 6 years agoFirst of all, I'm gonna say something that people seem to disagree with. I actually like this new UI.
But before we can bash on it, look at another similar situation. Everyone know Youtube right ? Do you like the UI right now ? Probably. I've known Youtube on their old, OLD UI. Remember when trending didn't exist (or something like that I'm not sure anymore lmao) ? Anyways. The things is, everytime there has been an update to the YT UI, everyone was bashing on it. Everyone disliked it. e v e r y t i m e. You know what ? After some time, people started to get used to it and peopel started seeing the good on it. Yes, sure, there wasn't the annotation anymore (RIP choice base video), but I think it was a necessary sacrifice to advance.
Again, the thing is. Wait. Before criticing the new UI, wait and use it a bit. Understand it, play with it (And it settings :p) and try to get used to it. You'll see, after some time, you will start to like it more.
Or if it is really that worse then no you aren't going to like it, but right now, I've only seen good things.
Again, wait and use it before disliking it. People are scared of changes :/

Posted 6 years agoFunny how a lot of time, when browsing FA for random stuff, I stumble upon something I like, click the fav button, and get hit by a "You cannot fav something by someone who has blocked you". Like, huh ? I just discovered you and I'm already blocked ? I don't understand these people.
Edit: Also adding to that is people that cannot accept opinion. Recently gave my opinion on something (Great opinion btw, nothing bad) and got blocked for that... If I had to choose between who is the worst, I would probably say these.

100+ watcher

I just realized that I have more than 100 watcher (Close to 150).
How did I realized ?
Because today, I saw 4 journal thanking of X number of watcher so I was curious about mine suddenly.
Well, I can't do anything for that except this journal and these 2 words: Thank you.

Posted 6 years agoI'm starting to ask myself if I should reveal who is my number 1. I've said a lot of time that Nebula is third, Yakuz is second but nobody except me know the first. I also always said that I would reveal it if enough people ask me. So here, I ask you guys to tell me if you want to see it. If I judge there is enough people, I will reveal it :) Go !

Having a mystery number one character... this mean all the bad thing that happen in my universe, I can blame it on him x))) But more seriously, I think it is still great to have this "mystery" character that everyone know he is all powerful but nobody know (Except Yakuz) to which extent.

Edit: I RE edited my document. Figured it would be better to use Google Sheet rather than Google Docs. Also, the Google Sheet (As of October 23th) is not complete and is even lesser than the Google docs. But it's still better than the other. Posted 6 years agoFinally, I've started back at Blender. I've now realized that I shouldn't go too far too fast with his much knowledge. Instead, I have decided to do a little project. My desktop. You see, I have a desktop which is also a bed. My bed is above and my desktop is under. I have stairs to climb onto my bed. I've had this bed for way too long and even today I don't want to change to a more "adult" bed. So basically, my project is reproducing completely my entire desktop with the bed. This would allow me to learn how to do basic thing and going more & more complicated when adding every details. I can't wait to see the end project, but I know this will take a while. I will try to do more per day basis and we'll see what it may result. But what is sure is I will NOT post it here. Sorry guys.
Although, if you have other idea's of simple project like this, please tell me ! I'm already out of idea to learn after this one.

Posted 6 years agoSo you know when I said I would try to learn Blender so I can start doing some things ? Well, that went as expected from myself... I lasted 2 days (of work) before I couldn't continue. You know what ? That's a record for me. So still, I'm.... happy ? I guess ? But now, I don't know what to do. Ugh. Seriously not in a good position.
Also, I activated shinies for people that want to support me. I know this is only a dream, but if enough people give shinies, maybe I can focus some of them into more art commission for you so you can all enjoy my chars even more :3 Anyways. I'm just saying that I activated shinies. I don't know, maybe there is some kind soul out there to help me :) After all, I got Nebula as a gift I never asked and I'm enjoying her greatly (And also you, admit it :p)

Posted 6 years agoSo, I don't know how Blender work. Like at all. Yet, I will start working on a Nebula model so I can use it to do stuff with her in the future :) So I don't need to pay for art (Or atleast have some content :p) and maybe this could become a little job to make money. Of course it can't make a lot, I don't plan to go profesionnal on this. But if I can get good enough to start trying to accept small job from this site, then maybe this could help me a little. I accept any help with that. I will post update as I go through this. I don't expect a full res model that is extremely good. Right now, I just expect a low poly low res model that work. After all, I know nothing of 3D modelling, know nothing of the program, know nothing at all. Gonna start from scratch quite literally. Wish me luck :3
