I had an epiphany after leaving my professors office. it was that “why” is the heart of consciousness. That consciousness could be easier to describe and define than I originally thought. And to do so is threw the use of “why” that’s right why that simple under appreciated word could at its very core be responsible for are conscious being as it stands today.
Let me further the bases of this thought. “Who, what, how, were, and when” are questions that are applied to the inner workings of the universe and all have definite answers (as it pertains to currant scholarly endeavor we don’t have the current capability to obtain all the answer) but at there hart is the “why” after asking the why we further compartmentalize the problem in to the aforementioned categories and further define it.
So at the hart of consciousness is not just the ability, but the need to ask why. What I mean by that is for the question why to not be programmed in such as every time something is presented to a being, it automatically asks why, but rather its own desire/ conclusion to all the info presented it to seek out the why in its universe
With that said I think consciousness can be defined as such

Conscious: a beings ability to draw forth the question why of its own accord. Not just the ability to learn. But its ability to question what its learned, and draw conclusions and seek out answers to its own inquiries.

im finally moving back to the main land so im going to be off for a wile, to all thous who's pics im working on i will have them dune and up in about 11 days. see ya then ^.^

i shale be leaving for about a weak, to visit family and such. to those of you i owe art to i will be working on it over vacation and will post up what i got when i get back.

hear i stand at the beginning of path to being a grate artist, the same path that every artist is on. and WAAAAaaaayyyyy over there over mountains, and deserts and and rocks and squid infested canyons. is a pole with a little flag on it that says that says "goal". oh how i HATE that god damn flag, it stands there mocking me from on far with its cute flaginess. and what path wouldnt be coplet with out asshole bunnies placed throwout it to constantly fuck with you and chant "never gonna make it, never gonna make it."
fuck i should of been a rocket scientist it would of been easier. so hear i trudge, marching threw the fields of killer death cows and fighting of huge autonomous gerbils all so that one day i can say that im a good artist.

well all i can say is "im not a grate artist, but im working at it."

well in truth i actually have a very large list to go threw. how ever i decided it would be a little more beneficial, not to mention helpful to mix in more "local" comics and there artists. so if you or some one you know has a web comic they'd like reviewed just tell me and send a link, and ill move there comic to the top of the list

....\::|::/ i read tons of books on how to be a better artist, and i study the art of others,and hell i draw every day, still i dont fell like im improving any. the stiles in my art may have changed but i dont fell that the art its self has improved. i guess im just frustrated, art is like a new tree were experiences and diligence are the sun light and water, and admiration (be it self or that of others) is its soil. give it to much of ether and the tree will wither and my die but give it the right amount of all three, and the tree will become the light and wonder for others to ages at for generations to come. currently i think iv over watered my tree

and to some of those that don't. there was a bit of a journal discussion a wile ago as to if most people had the right to call them selves artists or not. it was based on among other things. the grade of there work, periodicity of work, or whether or not if they had attended school. those were just some of the highlights of the debate.
WELL i just red a book (yes i read some times) and it had a wonderful quote in it id like to share with all of you today.
"Artists are people who have defined themselves as such; those who believe in their own artwork have as much right to call themselves artists as the most celebrated figures whose works are displayed in galleries and museums. Art's greatest strength is that it is not the sole domain of specialists technicians, that it follows no laws or doctrines. in fact, most art movements since impressionism have made a point of defying "rules" and traditions. Art will remain alive as long as there are people interested in making it."

it donned on me the other day that i have rad A LOT of web comics, and as it terns out i have an openion about every one of them he he hee. so i thought id try my hand at righting a review on each one. im going to cover stuff like story art quality and a bit about the artist. i figur ill cover one ore two a weak every Friday so as not to be to much of a hassle on me. ill be including links to the comic so if it sounds like one you want to read you'll know were to go.

uug KIllMe PlEaSSe. ive gotten to the pont were i am to tiered to sleep how F-ed up is that, and to top it all off i worked out hard to day so i am mintely and physically exosted

so here i sit at four ten in the morning on Saturday and i still cant sleep. should be tired the last bet of sleep i had was three ohers and that ended at five thirty in the morning Friday. all i can say is this shit sucks, iv gotten bored of every thing, iv drawn until i was board of that and the same with watching movies. hell i even got bored of trying to go to sleep. im about to go have another cigarette hopefully that will put me over the edge and ill finally be able to go to sleep... doubt it, well to all others out there sweet dreams and may good winds find you were ever your berth may be.
