I've got 1 more project to wrap up and then after that I'm gonna stop taking commissions for a bit. As some might've noticed, things have slowed down a bit for me, and I've not been posting much.

Someone really close to me passed away last month and it's pretty much wiped out all motivation I had for working on stuff. I've been trying to keep on the positive side of things, but it's still really difficult. So once I'm finished with this last one I'm gonna be taking a break and focusing more on my own projects. I wanna try new techniques and looks out and it's more comfortable doing it on something for myself rather than a fully paid commission. I'll also be chewing through the trades I've gotten. I've not forgotten about those and I'm really excited to get them finished up.

Thanks to everyone that's shown interest in my work recently. I'll reopen soon enough once I've gotten back on my feet.

Well that was fun.

It was the best movie I've seen in a while.

Everything about the characters is what I aspire to create one day. I plan to study the hell out of this movie till I can create something as good as what was shown.

Things have been particularly bad for me these past couple months, and it left me not at all up for working on any sort of art. Things are slowly on the mend now, and I'd like to try and get back into the swing of things. So I'm looking to do a fairly simple trade, or if someone was interested, a commission for a character.

First off, after a couple recent incidents I'm gonna be asking for payment up front from now on with commissions when I get to your slot. If your character is complex, and I'm not entirely sure how to do it, I'll get a start on it first before I ask for payment. If I fail to complete your commission I'll issue a full refund and an apology. I don't see this happening, but it's there if I mess up.

Secondly, I ended up taking a handful of trades, and immediately got bombarded with a few commissions. This has left me with a lot of stuff to do, which is nice, but a tad overwhelming. I've not forgotten about those who've completed their end, it's just that paid work takes priority. They're coming, and I'm excited to be working on them, it's just my output varies from project to project, and I can be a tad slow at times.

Full 3D model + interactive turntable: $150

Source files for either of these is an additional +$20 for the bust, and $50 for the full model.
Custom Turntable Platform $10-20 - Must have reference of what you want it to look like.

Post a ref and I might make you something sometime. No promises it'll ever get done, but I'll keep the ref around and if I'm really bored you might get a free thingy out of it.

I've had a few people contact me recently asking about this, so I thought I'd just post this to say that I am currently not open for commissions.

Still rounding out the edges on my transition to Zbrush, and I don't feel completely solid with it just yet, but when I do I'll definitely be taking them again.

Gonna get better at zbrush.
Gonna try to complete at least one big project a month.

Lost some friends.
Gained some better ones.
Strengthened the friendships I still have.
Played some good games.
Made, and released a game on IOS with some friends.
Figured out I don't want to work on games.
Worked on some pieces I'm really proud of.
Got better after getting really sick back in 2012.
Made myself a new avatar for the new year (F5 to see it!)

All in all a very average year with a few decent standouts. Could've been worse I suppose.

Next year I'll be focusing on FINALLY getting some sort of drawing skill, along with learning proper anatomy to help compliment my characters overall. Sculpting, and retopology are also on my list of things to get better at.

So here's to a new year!
