So...
Posted 5 years agoI've been lacking motivation lately. I think I'm going to need to force myself to get back into drawing, because it's been over a week now since I actually drew anything. So... I'm going to continue the bounty hunter revisits and Exhibition Fighters comic until my motivation to draw is back to normal.
Ugh... Birthday
Posted 5 years agoSo I'm now 37 as of today. Joy... Honestly I wish I could stop aging...
Back from TFF 2020
Posted 5 years agoSince it's in my state, it's not hard for me to get back home in a single day.
Anyway, I sadly only officially got to work Artist Alley on Sunday.
daq got to work on all three days.
But I got to meet up with some friends who've been regularly attending or haven't attended in awhile.
And I come back with sketchbook scans to share! Only two this year, so sorry.

Revisiting Art question
Posted 6 years agoSo, I was going back through my old art and as some of you saw, I recently revisited an old bounty hunter character of mine from my Over World series, captain of the Silver Squad, Jessie Leronna. So, my question is for you guys, should I try to revisit all the Over World characters, minus guest characters? This means even excluding the guest characters that's over 500 characters for Over World. And most of them are in fact... the bounty hunters.
If so, where should I begin with the revisiting? The side characters, the villains, the warlords, the demon lords, the dragon lords, or keep going with the bounty hunters? Because since I revisited Jessie, I'm tempted to revisit the rest of her squad.
But if I do finish up with the Silver Squad, which of the other 49 bounty hunter squads would you want to see?
The entire Pangonian Bounty Hunter squads are as follows:
Midnight – Sometimes carries shadow weapons or specializes in shadow attacks. Adores night and mostly wears black.

April 15th, my birthday!
Posted 6 years agoYay... Honestly I'm not thrilled about it being my birthday, but I'll be going out later today to eat at an Italian restaurant, but I'll still be doing an art stream today, too.
TFF is over and I'm back!
Posted 6 years agoBut because I'm tired and sore both from the trip and the convention, tomorrow is when I'll go back to my regular schedule of doing streams. But there's still art to come! Some of which is not by me, but some will be as well. I just need to recover for now.
Hope to see you all Wednesday when I stream!

New update
Posted 7 years agoI thought I'd let you guys know that Jan. 1 I'm going to force myself out of hiatus and get back to work on my Exhibition Fighters comic. I'll also start drawing up assets for my Tales of the Darkside game project.
Yes, the game is going to finally be worked on. I'll start with a demo of the game as assets are made so not only can I get used to using Unity, but I can get the skeleton base down.
Things to keep in mind for what I have planned. I have two musicians from YouTube in mind for hiring for the music of the game provided I can get the funds, so I might as well make use of my Patreon for that affect. This will also be where I'll show the assets and the WIP of the game as things are developed.
The game will have a local or online co-op play function and unlike most games that automatically go with whatever character player 1 is playing as to what story to play, I'll put in an option with co-op that both players can choose which character story (of the ones being played as) as to who to go with. There will be unlockable lightsabers which not only change the colors, but also the way the weapons can behave. There will be 12 playable characters, but only 2 of them will be unlocked from the start. There also will be 2 hidden playable characters, but I will not give any hints as to how to unlock them, so when the final game is out, keep your eyes peeled. Each character will have their own story and the maps played on will vary according to the character story being played. Some maps can and will repeat, but on occasion there will be different enemies on these repeat map according to the character story. All characters will have their own stats as well.
I'll try to make this possible, but without help and without funds this will take longer than I'd like.

My condition...
Posted 7 years agoI haven't been streaming a lot lately and part of it is not feeling up to it. Another part is that I've been experiencing pain...
One of my teeth has pretty much crumbled away and is basically a dead tooth now, even causing occasional infections. I'm having it removed next week.
But that's not what's making it hard to draw. Somehow the joint and ligaments in my right hip is hurting badly where I limp when it's really hurting and sitting is difficult when the joint won't stop aching, thus it's hard to focus on my artwork... I even had to change my sleeping habits to try to recover... And for awhile I have been, but if I have to run for any reason, lately being having to keep up with some bratty husky pups, then my joint starts to ache badly again like it just got injured. I really want to get this joint healed, but I think it's impossible so long as I'm taking care of animals and the household on my own.

Resuming my streams

Belated TFF 2018 Report
Posted 7 years agoI've been busy since i got back home on Monday... Namely cleaning up and caring for 8 husky pups and soon I'll have to be doing so solo as my mother will be heading to Louisiana with my father soon.
Anyway... Here's my report on how things went at TFF this year!
FIrst of all on Wednesday I went and got a rental car since we're currently down to one vehicle at home, so after getting the rental I went to San Antonio and picked up
daq from the Greyhound station a little after 10 AM. We drive to Broadway in SA and decided to stop to eat something. After all he was on a bus for a few hours and it was getting near lunchtime so I could stand to eat myself. After eating we continued on our way until we finally got to Dallas somewhere around mid-afternoon. We were going to get some dinner at Sonic at this point, but I was so tired that I passed out for most of the night.
So the next time we ate was like at 4 AM at IHOP for breakfast. I'm not used to eating much and sort of had to force myself to finish off my omelette and pancakes. After that we headed to the convention hotel since for some reason they said it was going to be a 4 day event, Feb. 8-11, and yet they didn't have registration open and said they wouldn't until 4:30 PM. So we hanged around the hotel some until around noon or so and went to find lunch. There was a Wendy's near my hotel, but we decided to go with our dinner plan from the previous day and go with Sonic. After eating we headed back to the convention hotel and waited around for a bit longer until DAQ decided to go and meet up with
sailoranna at the hotel he was staying at. Afterwards they came back with
maxblackrabbit and we went to get dinner at an Italian restaurant down the road. Though after this my eating out budge went from $50 to $10 with all the eating out so far... While hanging out with SailorAnna, DAQ, and Max for a little while longer the people staying at my hotel room showed up and since the hotel manager refused to give them a key I headed back to the convention hotel on my own to meet up with them. Eventually I managed to get my convention badge, running into
jhughes during this, and then went back to my hotel room to call it a night.
With the next day and some left over chicken fettuccine alfredo for breakfast I headed over to the convention hotel once again to wait with the other artists, including
karno and
savageshark, on getting tables for Artist Alley. I managed to get a table with a few other people. I set my table up and pretty much worked the whole day there keeping my budget in mind and thanking the fact it's become a habit to get convention rations before ever heading out to the convention. Since they gave those with tables an option to sign up for tables the following day again I did so. Eventually as the hours passed into the night I decided to go back to my hotel room and eat one of the ramen cups I brought along as such rations. I was still getting used to being up so long for conventions again since I only recently started attending 3 conventions in a single year, being that I only attended TFF and a local comic con before that, so I ended up going to bed around 9 PM and having to wake up to let my hotel roommates in only to go back to bed afterwards.
The next day I saw my name was indeed on the list of those that had tables so long as they were present when the Artist Alley opened anew. So I stayed put and skipped breakfast this time around. I got my table and set up. Max showed up for the raffle since he was unlucky and was left out of getting a table the previous day. The spot on my table, being that they seated two people per table, was still empty I offered him to sit next to me, which he accepted. Besides making small talk we did show off our art to several people that came by. Max being the more popular artist filled up on commissions quickly, but I focused on showing off my work on the chance I got a commission. Eventually I did get a $5 sketch commission, though it was hard to focus on it. I needed to use the bathroom and eat something. SailorAnna stopped by to tell me that he and DAQ were thinking of getting something to eat. I sort of opted out of joining on account of my budget :/ But after answering him, I asked if he'd watch the table as I quickly went to the restroom. He did so and I hurried off. When I got back I sat back down in my spot and started to work on the commission some. Max came back since he was gone for dropping a sketchbook off with the owner after completing a commission the owner had asked for. Max said that he wasn't leaving the spot anytime soon, so I opted to get something to eat from one of the food trucks. Just my luck it was freezing outside with strong winds. I had left my hat with my Mangle doll that was set up at my table to attract some onlookers. As the wind blew it got so cold that I started developing a headache being cold sensitive. I tried my best to get rid of the headache by cupping my ears in my gloved hands and even having my bandana over my face. When I finally got to my food I quickly walked back to the artist alley, deciding that running might risk my food, which would mean that I suffered the cold for nothing. Getting back to my seat, I moved some of my things aside so not to mess them up while I ate. When I finished eating I managed to get back to work and complete the commission I was working on. About an hour afterwards the commissioner showed up and I showed him the sketch, which he was fine with, so I let him take the commission as it was completed to satisfactory levels. I then was told that
driprat was somewhere in the Dealer's Den. Having been acquainted with him due to our mutual friend,
katellis I went up to the Dealer's Den to see if I can find him and say hi, which I did so and let him know that Max was down in the Artist Alley. I then returned to my table and just passed the rest of the time by, although I did see
lessthan3 show up there in the Artist Alley real quick, until I got too tired to stay, making sure I signed up for Artist Alley for the next day along with Max, and headed back to my hotel room.
On the third and final day of the convention I had fun getting my stuff from the car to the hotel as the parking lot had a lot of hills and ramps. And when I got near the hotel the gates that went to the ramps for the side I was on were locked... I had to carefully take the cart down the stairs... Then I had to take the elevator up. I was still early so I got something for breakfast from the in-hotel shop and ate it while I waited for us to get our tables for Artist Alley. Max, DAQ, and SailorAnna were off having breakfast else where and Max barely got back in time to get his table, but he got it. I had already set up my table before he showed up, but I had to pick a different table than I had Friday and Saturday since someone else managed to take it before I could get it again. But no one was seated next to me again, so Max sat at the table again with me. Max worked on some of his backlog from the previous day and so took less commissions this day than he did before. I had stayed up the previous night until around 1:30 AM because I was revisiting some old characters from 2003 for Max. You guys will see these characters soon enough. But I greeted people and all of that, letting people take pictures of my contact information just to get my name out there. Sadly no commissions, but I didn't mind. Eventually when Artist Alley finally closed up around 5 PM I had to push the cart back to my car and put my stuff up. And that meant taking the elevator down, then getting the cart UP the stairs so I could get to the parking lot. Thankfully someone coming back from the parking lot stopped and helped me get the entire cart up the stairs. I put all my stuff up and went back to the hotel. For a few minutes I didn't know that there were places to eat on the floor above the lobby. But I found Max up here and we had dinner in the buffet here. Then we went ahead got a table while SailorAnna, DAQ,
goliathcpg, SavageShark, Karno, and
sinuke all ate at the same buffet and started to draw until the others joined us. We pretty much just messed around with ideas and drew until eventually we got tired, though the hotel pretty much forced Max to leave by shutting down the tables from the convention goers at 2 AM.
The next day I got up at 7 AM and tried to check out only for me to find no one in the hotel office. They had a button to ring a bell for service, but I rang it twice, a minute between rings, only for no one to even show up... So I met up with SailorAnna, DAQ, and Max at their hotel while I waited to be able to check out since the hotel I was staying at had a sign saying they allow check out at 11 AM... 11 fucking AM! I had a rental car I had to get back before 6 PM this day and it's like a 6 hour drive, if that, back to San Antonio! I decide to leave around 10 AM to try to put up the room key in the office and if there was no one there I would leave the room key in their little tray and say it's not my problem now. I had gotten some McDonald's for breakfast while I was waiting, though I'm not fond of McDonald's anymore. Once 10 AM finally came around DAQ and I headed out to see if I can finally get out of there and thankfully to my surprise there was someone waiting in the office when we arrived. I gave them the room key and headed back. When we finally got to Seguin where the rental car was from, I find out my phones decided to both screw me over. My personal cell had ran out of minutes on Friday while I way trying to communicate with the hotel roommates where to meet up so I can give them the hotel room key. And just as I get to Seguin my business cell's battery dies. I had turned off my personal cell when it ran out of minutes. Thankfully I had gotten gas at a grocery store that also sold the minute cards both cells used. So I picked up a 60 minute card and used it with my personal cell to call my mother, who informed me that my father decided to put an extra day on the rental car, worrying that I might not make it to the car rental place in time, so even though the rental place was now down the road from me, I drove DAQ to the Greyhound station in San Antonio and drove home myself. And I find out that the puppies had made such a mess of my bedroom that it was unsafe to walk in there. That I would and have been having to since I got back sleep in the guest bedroom.
The next day, though, we returned the rental car just fine and later in the day we cleaned up my room some while the pups were outside playing. They're now 6 weeks old, by the way. One more month and they'll be ready to be adopted. While there are some pups I like over others, they're all cute and all can be a hassle. Whee... I recently had to salvage my 3-in-1 and a few other things from my room just so I can work normally again despite sleeping in a guest bedroom rather than my own.
Well, now you know what happened during my time. Also while I was up in the Dealer's Den on Saturday, I saw a dakimakura that featured
mihari. Who knew.
I then returned to my table and just passed the rest of the time by, although I did see
lessthan3 show up there in the Artist Alley real quick, until I got too tired to stay, making sure I signed up for Artist Alley for the next day along with Max, and headed back to my hotel room.On the third and final day of the convention I had fun getting my stuff from the car to the hotel as the parking lot had a lot of hills and ramps. Where have I been?
Posted 8 years agoWell, here's a little update for you guys on where I've been the past few weeks. I've been home in recovery. Somehow I strained my neck really badly three weeks ago to where I couldn't turn it to the side or even look up. It ached just holding my head up straight. Thankfully after a week the pain's now gone. The other issue however affects my ability to stream. My right hand and wrist were damaged in a way where I couldn't move the wrist without it hurting and the entire back of my hand as well as a part of the palm was bruised. The bruising is gone now and my hand's close to back in order after three weeks of recovery, but it's not 100% back to normal yet.
In the meantime while I recover I've been playing Warframe as well as getting some gameplay videos of my RPG, The Six Realms, ready to be worked on by
stevefarfan so I can have my RPG finally put up on Steam, clearing the way for Tales of the Darkside to finally start production.
Once Tales of the Darkside does go into production I might have to cut back on my streams to two art streams and a single game stream a week opposed to the usual three art streams and a single game stream schedule I've been going by.
The Exhibition Fighters comic is still being worked on. I actually have 4 new pages I'll be uploading soon. So wish me luck.

Alamo City Furry Invasion
Posted 8 years agoFor those of you curious, I'll be attending ACFI starting tomorrow and going on through to Sunday. I just recently picked up
daq from the Greyhound station and he'll be staying with me for the convention at my house. DAQ and I will be taking part in the Artist Alley if you wish to find us.

Posted 8 years agoAfter some stupid hiatus time unintentionally on my own doing, I finally have my new drawing tablet set up how I want it and so next week I'll start my drawing again. I'll also see about draw streaming again, as well as game streaming.
If you check my price list image, you'll see the typical stream schedule, however the game streams will only be once every Sunday instead of the previously listed Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
I'll also begin working some on Tales of the Darkside off and on, as well as trying to get the video for The Six Realms prepared so the game may go up on Steam someday soon.

Update for The Six Realms
Posted 8 years agoWell, the game's done and I needed to make a gameplay video of the game for it to be allowed to be uploaded on Steam. I just played the game start to finish and ended up with 20 hours+ worth of video. However now the video needs to be edited into a 3-5 minute video and I honestly have no confidence in my ability to do that.
So I'm calling upon the video editors out there for aid. I only need one and I would like help in this as it's the only thing keeping me from uploading the game now. So if you're a video editor and are willing to help, feel free in contacting me for this.

Day 2 of ACCC's over for me
Posted 8 years agoI'm home now feeling tired, but for those of you in the San Antonio area, you might want to consider trying to make it to the Alamo City Comic Con either today or tomorrow as at the Antarctic Press table the infamous
fredgdperry is there.
Also I've started sketching some new character concepts while hanging around at the Antarctic Press table with the crew.
I'm still not sleeping well at the moment, but hope to fix that.
Also a signal boost for my friend,
daq, he's got some original art he'd like to sell because his funds are starting to run low, so if you'd like to help him out, let him know on his journal https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/8246563/

Posted 8 years agoSo, today's the first day of the Alamo City Comic Con this year. If you plan to attend you might spot me walking the floor occasionally. Sadly my friend
daq won't be attending this year. But I already have my ACCC 3-day pass and will be there, though I had very little sleep last night, being only 3 hours.
But if any of you will be looking for me, just look for someone in a black jacket, black bucket hat, and sunglasses wearing a black and red backpack. I'll also be wearing one of my TFF badges for the hell of it.

So...
Posted 8 years agoSome of you might have seen that I did a game stream yesterday and are curious how I'm doing. Well, I'm feeling better now that I'm avoiding ingesting the water at all. But considering I tried to boil off the contamination and still got sick, even got sick from just rinsing out a pitcher with the water, that the contamination might be chemical in origin. So my father's going to see about contacting the appropriate department to have the water tested.
As for the game, I've recently started playing it for the gameplay video today. I got two hours in so far and will play another two hours later today and record it. I plan to do a total of 4 hours each day for it until I reach the end of the game. As the game is 16-22 hours long to complete if you don't get lost in the dungeons, it should take me until the end of this week to complete the recordings I need, start of next week at latest. Then I have to edit the videos into a single video to showcase the best parts of the game. Once all that's done I'll be able to use that and a few screenshots to post the game onto Steam finally.
As for my art. My tablet's still not that usable, so I'm suspending my art streams until the new tablet gets here, which it was just shipped out today.

Update (and ill)
Posted 8 years agoSeems I've been ill off and on lately and trying to figure out why, especially since now it's happened again and I'm typing this while my gut is in incredible pain. I've narrowed it down to a single culprit... My water has become toxic and unsafe to drink.
You see, I'm on a well system where I live, so anything that seeps into the ground by way of the rain gets into the well water and affects me and my neighbors... Seems some of my neighbors have been allowing certain substances to seep into the well, making it unsafe to drink. My gut pains are a result of finding this out the hard way. And it's not something you can simply use a water filter for, because I always filter the water before drinking it and I STILL ended up like this...
So I'll be getting back to work when I can. Also seems the badges will have to wait because my drawing tablet is no longer in a usable state and as it's several years old now, it's no longer supported by the manufacturer, meaning I have to order a new one. So I'll do so ASAP and in the meantime when I'm feeling better work on my RPG's gameplay video instead.

Well, birthday
Posted 8 years agoI've pretty much gotten over the cold I picked up from TFF and guess what? My birthday's this Saturday. Yay...
I've finished sketching up badges for
jhughes,
portzebie,
luna-starbright,
joey-poey, and
tooiebird. I just need to get them all scanned and work on inking and coloring them on my computer. Once they're done, they'll be put up on my Mediafire and the appropriate people will be noted and linked their badge and I'll then post them in a group picture here.
As for the RPG, The Six Realms, and my Exhibition Fighters comic, they're still being worked on. TSR just needs some gameplay video, meaning I have to play it through again while recording it, then edit the collection of videos into an introduction video to show people what it's about. And Exhibition Fighters is currently at page 76, but will continue soon enough. So if you haven't read it yet, you should! I recommend starting from page 1 so you don't get lost. And for those of you who don't want to go find the link on your own for it, here's the first page link. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6178077/ Links for the following pages can be found in the artist comments for easy navigation.

I'm becoming ill...
Posted 8 years agoFricking son of a fricking frick... Seems just today Con Crud is getting to me. I have a sore neck, my stomach is bothering me, and it's hard for me to stay warm while my house is being kept around 80...
But I won't let this beat me down. I have some badges to make for some fellow artists friends and I intend to do that, even while sick, and I have to start working on my RPG's gameplay video so I can finally get it released! But ugh... I'll be drinking my hot peach green tea and eating some hot ramen in a cup at the moment...
PS I should mention that the illness is being caused by a tooth infection at the moment >.<

TFF 2017 Report
Posted 8 years agoWell, even though I only made half the amount I did last year while in the Artist Alley, it was rather fun this year.
Naturally I,
DAQ, and
SailorAnna were there along with the usual gang of oddballs, being
portzebie,
luna-starbright,
joey-poey,
tooiebird,
jhughes, and of course
wolfkidd and
karno, though this year two people I didn't expect to see were there. That would be
maxblackrabbit and
carrot. And as always,
niis and
padunk were working their table just as were
gideon and
miupix. Thankfully Miu wasn't sick this time around like he was last year.
They had another Dealer's Den open this year downstairs. Which is where
phuufy and
skidd were. Being first timers to TFF I hope they become regulars along with Max. And Carrot if he enjoyed himself.
Anyway, as for how I did at the con, I made $30 last year, which I know, is pretty meesley, but I'm not a well known artist, so selling one clean commission and one adult was getting my name out there. This year I finally started making badges and so I sold three badges. A gingerbread furry one to someone going by Crafty Coyote and two Kirby badges to a couple known as Tank and Wolfmunk. All the badges were $5 each, so that ends up with me making only $15, but I don't mind. More exposure means more work in the future, hopefully.
I also got a laminating machine on the last day of the con because I was getting low on laminating slips I was using for making the badges with. Currently I have 5 badge types made, but I do plan to make more. I'll scan the badges tomorrow so you guys can see them as I'll be willing to make badges for you guys of the same type and ship them to you at the simple cost of $5 plus shipping. Yes, that's all I'll ask for and no more. But do wait until I get the picture of the badges up before you ask for some, okay? Best to know what you're getting yourself into with me :p

skidd were. Being first timers to TFF I hope they become regulars along with Max. And Carrot if he enjoyed himself.Anyway, as for how I did at the con, I made $30 last year, which I know, is pretty meesley, but I'm not a well known artist, so selling one clean commission and one adult was getting my name out there.
