Hello everyone! Pretty embarrassing how my last journal was from over 2 years ago, whoops. I moved to Germany and loved it there, but got a job offer here in the Pacific Northwest that was too great to turn down, so I moved back to the US a couple months ago. And then promptly broke my ankle, oops. Due to the broken ankle I've got a little more free time than usual, so if anyone's up for an art trade, send me a note! I can only take a couple, so I apologize if more than a couple people ask.

Sorry for the inactivity everyone! Next week I'll be moving from the western US to northern Germany, so I've been super distracted from art. Once I get settled in over there, I hope to be more active online. Producing only one piece per month is pretty shameful!

I'm not bringing any of my prints over to Germany with me (trying to bring as little luggage as possible) so I'm selling them for $5 plus shipping -- let me know if you'd like one, or any of my originals.

Sorry for the inactivity recently! Work has been super busy. I'll get to all the comments soon -- I really appreciate that so many of you guys take the time to leave a comment, it means a lot to me.

I also keep forgetting to mention I have a Tumblr, in case anyone else does. I have the same username over there (clerical-error.tumblr.com) and I tend to post a little more often, with more WIPs and typography and such. I don't reblog anything, so it's all either my art or art that others made for me.

I've had an unopened pack of ACEOs for ages because I've been too hesitant to work with real media. But I'd really like to try them out, so if anyone is interested in an ACEO trade, please send me a note! I'd be happy to ship yours to you for free. I have very little art of my characters and I'd like to remedy that, haha. Due to time constraints I can only accept one or two trades, unfortunately.

And one last thing: I'm giving out another two free sketches. Same rules as always: if you've already received one before, you can't receive one again. If you give me an anthro character I'll only be able to give you a portrait because I fail at humanoid anatomy.D: Comment here if interested!

I move around a lot, but I currently live in Idaho, which is probably one of the most unknown states in the US. (When I lived in Germany, only one friend of mine had ever heard of it!) To help educate you fine folks about this great state, I picked up a pack of blank postcards. I also have leftover prints from Kumoricon last year that have been gathering dust in my room. (Hopefully I can show my art at Kumoricon again this year!) They're signed 8.5" x 11" prints of "The Unicorn and the Lake," "Daydream," "Wisdom," "Simpler Times," and "Spring!" for sale for $7; each of these comes with a mini 4" x 6" print of something else from my gallery, chosen at random. (I might have 8.5" x 11" prints of other stuff in my gallery available too, just ask if you see something you'd like.) My family surprised me yesterday with an amazing college graduation gift -- a new Intuos5 tablet! Now that I have both a tablet and free time, I can start creating art again. My new tablet is HUGE compared to my old Graphire and the paper texture feels really different, so it'll take me a while to get used to it.

So to get some practice in, I'm giving out 5 free sketches -- just comment on this journal with your character's name and a reference image/sheet. (Note that I still only draw feral, unfortunately.) Don't expect anything too fancy -- just a sketch so I can figure out how to work this thing. If you got a free sketch last time I offered one of these (...months ago, I think) you won't be able to get one this time around, sorry about that!

Everyone here has been so friendly and welcoming, thank you guys so much! Over 40 watchers in less than two weeks is amazing. As a thank you I'm giving out a free detailed sketch to three people. (Wish I could do more, but university work is killing me this semester.) Just comment here and let me know which character of yours (or any animal) that you'd like. Note that I only draw feral, since I'm too terrible at human anatomy to attempt anthro, and everything I draw is clean.
