About Me
Posted 11 years agoHello There! Here are a few things about myself, just because:
I value intellect and honest, sincere passion in other people. I love night time and brass instruments, and the treble clef, the feeling of fur under my fingers and the smells of rain and new soil and art supplies and old books and fresh bread. My favorite colors are the deep cloudy bronze patina of antique copper, the blue-green sheen of turquoise gem stones, and the dusky rose of a once ruby sunset that glimmers on just a little longer after the sun has vanished. Philosophy and Literature and History and Astronomy own my mind, and I can be a bit of a sapiosexual. I have a passion for tea of all flavors and origins. My favorite music is the song I haven't heard yet. I like both the very fast and the very slow, and great complexity gives me as much joy as elegant simplicity does. I love texture and shades and glorious saturation much more than the solid safe drudgery of primary color. I'm not a milquetoast middle-of-the-road person, but I loath absolute extremes as well. I believe that there is no box to be outside of, and any concept thereof is only intended to limit and trap the formless sapient spirit. My nightmare is sterility and immobility, therefore I am a slave to aesthetic.
Art is my center. It is what I hope to build my future on.
I identify as Androgyne, which is like a third gender halfway between male and female.
I tend to flip-flop with my gendered pronouns, though I find feminine pronouns really adorable and may use them a teeny bit more. I also might occasionally use Fe/fay if I don't mind feeling a tad ridiculous, because they sound Ethereal and Sylvan, which I like. Call me whatever you will, however, as long as you're nice about it! I really don't care too much. I'm primarily attracted to male anatomy, but I'd keep an open mind if a person was special enough to me.
I have a bit of a love affair with weird music. If you want to take a dive into the spiral of insanity I call my music taste, I'm an avid Last.fm user.
I will never leave the Furry Fandom. Despite a few periods of inactivity, my fluffy, friendly, furry friends are too important to me.
In real life, I'm a 23 year old art and animation student, currently attending Gnomon School of Visual Effects, and living in the Denver area. Software I use (frequently and infrequently) includes Zbrush, Maya, V-ray, 3DS Max, Softimage, Unity 3D, Mandelbulb 3D, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, and After Effects, Modo, PaintTool SAI, and Krita. I do 2D and 3D art, and occasionally write something. I also intermittently work on fursuits, and have a goal of making most of my own clothing in the future! I have my own style and way of doing things in mind.
I'll hopefully be posting 3D, Vector, and Painted art and/or animation from in the very near future. Sometimes I might write something, but I tend to be very self-critical about my writing, so don't expect a lot.
I really want to get some furry art published, but school keeps me busy so it might be awhile.

Internship
Posted 12 years agoWell, I've been at my internship with the wonderful pair at
SparkleKreations for a week or so, and had my first solo work day yesterday. I could not be happier with them. Karma and Ryo are the nicest people, and I feel like I'm going to be learning a lot over the entirety of this process.
I've been very busy between that and school, but over all I'm having fun with both.

Blank Page
Posted 12 years agoGod I hate having this page be blank. I... I think its mocking me. Just sitting there empty while I work on my first submission. To help with that, I've challenged
Rukamae to a contest. You see, she's working on my fursona's ref page. I'm working on some gift art of her character. Whoever finishes their art for the other person first wins the race. The loser buys icecream for the winner.
This will be interesting.
