FRWL Prologue is fully updated!!!!
Posted a month agoTook two months, but it's all done!. The 20-part prologue is fully remastered with all-new art.
Now I can move on to other areas of this project. My brain gets unhappy being interrupted in the middle of a task, so I was obligated to power through them completely. Been tough drawing lately, too.
Enjoy!

You guys know him, he's tough as nails, but a good guy at heart, I guarantee the entire situation he got thrown in is bullshit. Anything you can contribute will help, thanks!

RIP Dragoneer...
Posted a year agoThank you, Dragoneer, for the site that has benefited so many furry artists. Everyone can find weird stories circulating if they look hard enough, but I can attest that my few direct interactions with him were nothing but positive.
And regardless, FUCK our healthcare system, nobody deserves that.

Posted 2 years agoYeah, do not expect too much out of me just yet.
But I am officially Codyvfrost on Bluesky now.
You can look me up there if you like, but pls gimme some time to figure things out before I really get active there. Most likely, my comic will be posted there, I'll be following a few people, and I won't be doing much actual participation...because if you think I post art seldom here, imagine how little it'd be if I'm on social media all the time!
Uggggggghhh.
I will definitely be keeping this account as a homebase, and I will cc: all major images between these two accounts. I may experiment with keeping rough sketches and demos more on BlueSky, though....stuff I don't consider polished enough to post, I guess?
Thanks to everyone for poking me in that direction, extra special thanks to
exatron for the final nudge.

Posted 2 years agoSo I thought a lot of it is Harper, who averages 1.5-2 hours of walks a day...but I also no longer have a commute to work. That didn't explain everything. And then I realized it's because I've altered my computer habits so much.
To be brief, I have a work computer now, which is ONLY for work. I used to have one computer for everything, ie art and gaming, but now that's all on a separate computer that's seldom in use. And for obvious reasons, I try to keep the work computer on as little as possible beyond, well, work.
And I hate typing on my phone. No further explanation needed there.
Sorry everyone! Iused to be good at this =X
And I've made matters worse.

Cody Frost will return. Again.
Posted 3 years agoSoooooo the plan was to get From Russia With Lust underway this year. Tax season was....ahem....unexpectedly challenging this year, so I knew not much progress would be made until after.
Then came the whole Russia-Ukraine dealio!
You know I have zero interest in politics, but it doesn't seem particularly prudent to feature a Russian protagonist right now, even if he's an ex-pat with mixed feelings about the homeland. Due to the ties to the i.s.o./Class Menagerie timeline, the plot is definitely not current, maybe late 2000's, but still. At the very least, we were kicking around ideas for an alternate title.
It was suggested making the new characters something besides Russian. Personal interest aside, I don't think we can. The plot heavily involves the superspy world of James Bond, and the main agents in those stories were usually MI6, CIA, or KGB. I suppose the were a number of big badass German agents, but a lot of Vlad's personality comes from being stifled in a (still currently) highly homophobic country, and Germany has avoided that for some time.
And let's be real...I was still heavily considering Twitter to be one of our main avenues, and THAT has taken a potentially interesting turn recently too; good or bad remains to be seen. [EDIT 2023 - hooboy...]
We're thus kind of in a holding pattern...we're still actively working on it, but there may not be big news for a bit. We'll seeif how the world survives the next few months.
Thanks for sticking with us!

We're...home.
Posted 4 years agoShort version: We sold our house, moved and bought a new one, and that's why you haven't heard jack from me this year.
Long version: This year was...not the shitshow 2020 was, but ridiculously busy.
Tax season was awful this year because they extended the due date to May 15...they had extended it to July in 2020, BUT we had ceased overtime as of March that time. THIS year, we kept the same overtime hours all the way through the end so it was basically four months of an awful work schedule instead of three. Nearly killed me, and we took a vacation almost immediately.
But once that was behind us, Dev suggested I approach the office about working remotely permanently, since I had effectively been doing that the past six months, and we had hired several new out of state employees. And......shockingly, they said that was fine!
We have for years wanted to move northwards...I have lived in L.A. for forty-coughahem years, and I was quite ready for a change...and you can imagine both teh hubby and our husky were quite happy to bail for better climates ASAP. We had been assuming that was just a long-term goal for awhile, and actually were seriously considering options right about when COVID shut things down last year. But, now the possibility of moving it up presented itself; thus I asked the office if it mattered WHERE I was working remotely...and they didn't care where.
So!
I was still recovering from tax season, but we immediately started researching where to live, and I scheduled a trip up the coast in late July to start scouting out properties. And we found out very quickly that due to a disturbingly hectic real estate market, it was extremely unlikely that we would get an offer accepted on a property if I didn't sell our house first...and since turnover was like a week on most house sales, there was no point looking yet since anything good would be snapped up before we could complete any sale.
It also meant we'd have to get a short-term rental of some kind in the interim, which complicated things immensely since we would either have to split up our belongings, or store them all and find something furnished. We opted for the latter, and I figured it was easier to get a long-term AirBnB rather than deal with a short-term lease; it was more expensive (though not by much), but ultimately I think worked out for the better.
Armed with that depressing news, we headed home and began the process of getting the house ready for sale. That's an exhausting but ultimately pretty boring tale, though I will say it was my first time visiting a public dump. We did not get as many offers as I expected, but we did get higher offers than I thought, so that was good; and while escrow was wrapping up, we finished packing to head up north. Keep in mind, we were in the middle of the second extension fall busy season this entire time, so I had no spare time and very little extra energy. This put the onus of packing on Dev, whose back I think is still recovering. There was, predictably, a ton of last-minute crap, but I am EXTREMELY grateful I had the foresight to hire
tremorwolf to help pack up the moving pod.
Looking for a place, while still in the fall busy season, and in...distinctly subpar living arrangements (long story) was awful, combined with the fact that we suddenly couldn't find anything we wanted...and we looked EVERYWHERE. It took basically about six weeks of tormenting our real estate agent before we finally managed to find something we were happy with. Which was followed with a ton of escrow and bank loan and inspection and...nope, don't want to go into it. Suffice to say, crappy month.
After all that, we finally moved in right before Thanksgiving, and have of course spent the past week trying to settle in. We're at least comfortable now, but there's a ton to do, with much furniture and houseware ordering in progress.
Needless to say, I literally have had like...............one weekend off the past six months that didn't involve the move in some form or another. I haven't drawn ANYTHING in about that time; the Cintiq is still packed. I'm exhausted and irritable and really don't want to do much. Teh hubby is doing better than I am mentally, but again, took the physical brunt of the process. At least Harper is unscathed!
But we're home. We're fucking home now.
And this has so been a wise decision. Harper and teh hubby were both actually active the past few months, rather than laid out and panting in the heat (L.A. is fairly warm through much of November). Although the moves (our AirBnB expired RIGHT before escrow closed, so we had to get a second one) upset Harper greatly, he has been bonding with us a lot more since he would usually opt to stay downstairs on the tile/hardwood, but now he's been by our side comfortably. After months of roommate and bro status, he's now officially our pet who loves us.
So that's where I've been, and I'm going to attempt to catch up with everyone.
Just not RIGHT now.
Hope everyone's lives have been going well!
[Edit: Interesting prediction I made six years ago regarding the move...I was off by a year, but I can guarantee COVID set us back at least a year. On the other hand, working remotely during COVID probably made the move possible. Hmmm...]

Hell hath frozen over.
Posted 5 years agoSo I'm aware the online world keeps changing, and FA is not sufficent for widespread promotion anymore. Chances are, in addition to posting here as I have been, I'm going to get a Twitter account specifically for From Russia With Lust.
This would be an art-only account, not really for interacting, watching, or retweeting--I may even task teh hubby with maintaining this instead of me. There's a chance it would be more active than this account, since I would feel more comfortable posting unfinished WIP type stuff given it's less of a "gallery" (which to me means finished work) feel. We have no official launch date or schedule yet, but definitely aiming for before the end of the year. [Edit: that sure as hell didn't happen, ha!]
FYI, yes, there will be adult situations here, though I am pretty sure they will not be necessary for the storyline.
My question here is whether this is the best auxiliary route to go at this point. Neither of us have any interest in social media, so we'd really like to avoid setting up and monitoring multiple accounts. I don't believe Discord or Telegram are quite appropriate for what I need (not really communicating/networking, more public art dump, ie HERE'S YOUR PORN, FURFAGS, ENJOY! :-D), and we all know what happened to Tumblr. Damn, I miss Livejournal. What are ya young whippersnappers using now?
Any other suggestions, or is Twitter our best bet? Thanks in advance!
(I expect there to be a massive blow-up and migration from Twitter now that I've announced this).
[edit: it very was unclear based on the above, so I've re-edited it; I'm definitely going to post the comic here on FA, I am looking for a secondary place also].

Oh my god, Thomas ACTUALLY found a RL Cody Frost...
Posted 7 years agoOh my god, I just found RL Cody.
Posted 7 years agoThere's been a lot of times I've seen photos and thought "that guy would make a pretty decent Cody", but this is too much. I found Mushab Yusupov on one of my Tumblr feeds:
So, 19 going on 20. Massive. Looks fairly tall. Dark short hair. Russian (or at least somewhere with Cyrillic characters). Not much of a smiler. Even has some photos in a black shirt and camo pants.
https://www.instagram.com/mushab1998/?hl=en
Doesn't quite have the jawline, but he's also not a cartoon character. And while I have a tendency to *coughahem* overdraw Cody's anatomy, I always pictured him with that sort of build (pecs and upper arms are spot-on), more large and thicc than super-ripped and chiseled; that's Todd's department Ironically, one of his buddies appears even more massive.
And I'll wait for Exatron's inevitable leg day comment

Looking for CG animator?
Posted 8 years ago(Edit 05/10/17: Hang on a sec, gotta clarify what is needed first...)
Kind of a longshot here...apparently, I know mostly 2D artists ^ ^;; A coworker's friend is looking for someone to do a quick demo, basically now. It will be paid, yes, we just need to know availability/price/timeframe.
I can give more details as needed...I'm frankly not expecting too much though. You can ping me or point me to someone you know, whatever works. Thx!

Farewell, Albert Temple (aka Gene Catlow)
Posted 8 years agoVery hard to process this right now. I've never seen this many journals spring up on my feed about one passing, evidence of how much he was loved... here's the initial one.
http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/8120166/
There are few people I know in the fandom with the same unbridled positivity and enthusiasm...I could always count on him for a smile at FC. And he was as talented as he was personable; back in the Keenspot days he was unwaveringly cranking complex storylines in fully-realized pagelength comics--a storytelling format most of us KS contemporaries only graduated to much later.
Kind of in denial ATM, burying myself in work as is typical right now. Sigh. But the void he left in this fandom will always be there, and unfortunately I'll catch up with it soon

Confession: I don't find furries sexy.
Posted 9 years agoThis isn't going to go over too well here, but it's a conclusion I've reached after a very interesting year of...exploration.
I started out in this fandom pretty damaged and scared of sex as it is. Despite X-rated material being a huge--if not core--factor of the fandom, I, at best, tolerated it. Part of the reason I "outed" myself re: my fetish last year here was to use that freedom to be flexible. After two decades in the fandom (overlapping with three of repression), I was going to draw whatever the fuck I wanted now, no more self-censoring. Thus, a few nawtee pics started to crop up more here, and those of you who found all my alternate accounts know that I did a LOT more pics like this of humans. I was hoping to kickstart some feelings inside myself; if my fetish isn't enough to get me into drawing naked furries, then nothing will.
And all it's taught me is that I definitely like cock, but it's more or less human dudes only--unless genetic engineering takes some massive steps soon (and who's to say it won't), I want to focus on real penises if I'm ever going to have some semblance of a healthy libido.
So while the experiment was effectively a failure, it isn't going to change much here. Furries are cute and fun and an expressive art form, and nothing will ever take that away...I'm generally known for PG-13 art anyway. I'm not saying the nawtee art is going to stop either, but it typically doesn't interest me unless it involves someone I've connected with iRL (which is I suppose is how I operate with offline sex too). I can still get lost in some well-designed works enough to make a personal connection to certain characters, but random (read: 99% of them) furry cumshots will never entice me the way an anonymous naked bodybuilder on Tumblr will. Some dirty pics will still show up, but let's just say the subjects will have earned them?
Eh, just year-change reflective nattering (yes, I'm late, I caught strep on New Year's ), obviously brought on by some of the recent art, don't mind me. Livejournal has REALLY imploded and I really don't know where else to ramble!
[Unrelated edit; if it wasn't stated clearly before, I am NOT going to be at FC2017 this weekend]

2017: MFF vs AC
Posted 9 years agoHeya all.
So I swore off furrycons awhile ago*, though I sorta wouldn't have minded a "well, maybe one last time" deal. Plus most of you never met teh hubby. FC is the only one I still attend simply because it's easy to get to, but frankly, we like the Bay Area, and I should make more of an effort to go there beyond cons. This upcoming January, I may have some scheduling conflicts, so there's a chance I may skip FC entirely this year (sorry!) which could leave some other con on the table...
Not trying to start a popularity contest here, but do you attend AC or MFF? (the ONLY serious options right now due to my job schedule...ie FWA and Furry Fiesta are out. BLFC MIGHT be an option, but it's local enough that it won't require as much preplanning). Either? Both? It's been something like six years since I went to either, and I know some people have changed their preferences in the meantime...AC is too crowded, MFF moved to December, yadda yadda.
This won't 100% make the decision, but it'll certainly help! Thx!
*Eh, suppose I'm beyond caring now, I can go into this publicly. Very bitter that I was never invited to be a GOH at a con. It may sound petty, but literally every other comparable furry webcomic artist at the time got the invite (especially ALL the other ones on Keenspot--'memba that?); and I know damn well the Class Menagerie was considered an early springboard to the fandom for many people, especially being a 100% clean example at the time. So yeah, I considered it a big FU, hence no longer supporting cons after years of attendance.

My interview on Panda Pause!
Posted 9 years agoI survived tax season...I think?
Well BEFORE it got awful, I was interviewed by
mickeybamboo, which was queued up since then and was just posted last week!
http://mickeybamboo.tumblr.com/post.....incecody-frost
I'm sure you've seen his interviews around (I know I did, that's why I was interested in the first place!) It's a fairly general overview of my previous works and history in the fandom, so given that I'm not all that big on social media, you can learn a bit more about what makes me tick. FWIW I AM slightly inebriated during this, which was necessary to loosen me up a little, not sure how evident it is to most of ya ^ ^;;
So take apeek listen. And he's got a Patreon to defray the running costs, so if you like what you hear please toss a little his way too!

Beyond that, this tax season sucked more than usual, so I'm recovering a little more slowly than usual. More from me soon, I hope!
Well BEFORE it got awful, I was interviewed by

The worst-kept secret.
Posted 10 years agoSo after a couple of personal journals, I'm continuing a trend of infodumps here.
By now, a number of you have noticed I have another non-furry DA account. No, not KyleTak, the OTHER one. I am not trying to keep it a secret, nor do I care if you find it (it's actually not that hard to find, a number of you have over the years), it's simply a matter of not actively advertising it here. Judging by most people's reactions so far, they can take it or leave it--which is on par with what I expected.
However, I am not linking to it directly here for a couple reasons. One is because there isn't any furry art there and never will be, so I didn't see much point. The other is that it's under a(nother) pseudonym, to avoid attaching it to my RL name--I'm fine being associated with (mostly) cute cartoon animals here, but THAT account? Less so. Yes, I'm well aware that anything posted on the internet is automatically not anonymous, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to make the connection. Still, someone would need a fairly vested interest (and likely an actual account sign-up), and casual viewers aren't going to dig that deep; Grandma Takamoto is not going to notice.
So this is basically to stave off all the "Wait, is that YOU???" questions. Yes, it is. If you found it and like it, then kewl! If you haven't, I don't think you're missing much, certainly nothing furry.
(And if you're dense enough to think this is an invitation to toss a direct link up to it, you'll be deleted and banned. Cuz, seriously folks, use some sense, thx ;-p)

After last week's infodump, might be interesting to see what you guys have wanted to know about me...

R.I.P. Kerry aka MammaLlamaDevil
Posted 12 years agoJust a moment of your time, please.
My dear friend Ms MLD passed away Sunday after a valiant battle with cancer. Hopefully a good number of you remember her; she was most visible at cons at the table of
thegneech, and often I'd have a table nextdoor. She managed multiple duties as barker, salesperson, customer rep, and troubleshooter.
She was also essential in getting i.s.o. off the ground. While she fulfilled all the online orders (including organizing all the signings for pre-orders), she was also the one who found the printer originally...at the time there were few options compared to now, and I could neither afford nor figure out LuLu.com's format, but she had a local friend who made the printings possible and easy.
And ever since then she has gone above and beyond the call of duty to be supportive and helpful at...well, everything. If anything needed fixing, she would find a way, and you often didn't even have to ask her directly. You can ask anyone who knew her. I remember the one time I got Dev to AC, and Delta (never using them again) lost his luggage. When it was getting upon the SECOND day of them not sending it to us, she let them have it on the phone--and soon it was on its way. That was Kerry. Total sweetheart, but all business when shit needed to get done.
Anyway, this is an open call for all the people who've been by our table, from Gneech and our mutual friend
susandeer...
Sue's request says it best:
I'm making a gift for her and her family, a token of our love and appreciation, and I need your help. If you draw, I need your b&w/limited color sketch of a bunny, a pooka, or a jackelope with a little message. If you write, a poem or paragraph or song. You needn't be the best at it. Creations that come from the heart are perfect at any skill level. The drawings and writings will go into 2, 5x7" books. One will go with Kerry and one with her family.
Because I don't have the details of final arrangements as yet, I am assuming that time is of the essence, hence the limit on color work. The less I need fuss with the printing the better.
You may email any creative tributes you'd like to make to suerankin at suerankin dot com If there is time and you wish to send the original along for her book as well, I will provide you an address.
Gneech is also helping out if you'd rather forward to him at thegneech[at]gmail.com He's also noted that photos of her at our dealer room tables, or at the Suburban Jungle room parties, are very much welcomed.
I imagine some of you must have archived photos or whatnot, or have some spare drawing/writing time. I haven't gotten full info on the services yet, but the next day or so would be great. Please help us pay tribute to someone who did so much for the fandom...quietly and behind the scenes. If nothing else, for those of you who enjoyed i.s.o.
Thank you.

Girl Powah.
Posted 13 years agoNot QUITE back online yet, but I need to start Iron Artist II soon (still going by the 30-day rule, and I need to wrap up by FC2013). Look for details of that shortly.
At any rate, this is just one topic that's timely at the moment.
People have often asked me why I only listen to female singers (especially on LJ, where this was more evident).
The simple answer is that top 40-based men, on average, are terrible singers (strictly referring to vocal talent--songwriting, instrument playing, genre, etc, do not matter much to me).
I'm well aware there are ladies with little vocal skill on the top 40 also, but generally there are heavy efforts to conceal this--autotune, vocal doubling, heavy instruments, a full choir of backup singers. With guys, it seems to be perfectly permissible to leave a flat voice front and center. Out of respect for people's tastes, I won't name many names, but let's face it; even Britney Spears can hit a note better than, say, Bob Dylan.
There's plenty of arguments over what is considered a "good" singer, so my acid test is this: Can you picture them singing "O Holy Night" WITHOUT LAUGHING?I think that's a fair test; it's an unbiased traditional song (whereas anyone can marginally squawk through two notes required by a song they penned themselves) which requires reasonable range and sustained notes.
I've been told this is an unfair test, and yet even though I don't really buy holiday albums, I can name at least a dozen pop-crossover women who have recorded versions of it (including Jessica Simpson and Avril Lavigne, if you can believe it). Other than...I don't know, Michael Buble or Il Divo, I can't think of many guys who could pass, let alone expect someone to purchase their version.
Just thought I'd bring this up now since I can never remember to mention it when it's the season for holiday music. It'd feel weird discussing it in August!
Thoughts?

Sweet, sweet fantasy, baby.
Posted 13 years agoSo the newest banner reminded me of a topic I've wanted to bring up...
How many other furries out there have no interest in sci-fi, or fantasy (in the sense of the medieval-ish based timeframes)?
The thing is, I admit it's kinda counterintuitive NOT to. Furries are by definition fantasy creatures, so any sort of make-believe genre with endless possibilities of body types is tailor-made for furries. Still, all the various movies/shows/RPGs that became trendy never grabbed my attention at all. Star Wars, The Matrix, Dr. Who, Firefly, LotR, Warcraft and their ilk, Renfaires, etc. I've never heard of 90% of the Guests of Honor at Further Confusion, who are usually an author that is extremely well-known in fantasy circles or the like. Apparently, I'm a terrible geek.
I suppose I'm a practical sort (accountants tend to be that way >.>), so alternate technologies just don't seem relevant 'til they're possible. The closest thing to sci-fi that I ever liked were Transformers, which I'm sure barely count. I think it's also fairly well-known that I'm a bit of at technophobe, so if I can't operate an iPhone now, I would have even less luck in the future. There's some irony in that I actually really LIKE drawing technological things.
I actually like a lot of the aesthetics of the fantasy eras, but frankly, the Lord of the Rings films kinda killed it. Seeing all of it close-up and realistically rendered showed how...unpleasant I'd find it to live in that time. Everything was dark and dusty and dreary, as it WOULD be without electricity, electronics, or modern hygeine. I'll kinda stay here in the present, thanks.
I guess basically my furry interest has always focused around animation, and nothing but that. It seems to be harder to find folks just into that (I believe a couple of you are, but I won't make presumptions), especially since animation itself has been in decline volumewise the past couple decades. I like animal characters who live here and now. It doesn't mean I don't appreciate them in other genres, but it almost always is the character base (who often act anachronistically) that will draw me in, not the setting.
So I don't know...I feel kind of out of place here when everyone geeks out over their various fandoms. It's as if I'm missing the ability to be passionate about things important to others. I'm kind of a niche in a fandom (let's face it) mainly consisting of niches.
In other news, Dev is here again so I'm not going to be online much. And in other news completely, passed 100K pageviews. Thx everyone!

No, not that kind of fur suit.
Posted 13 years agoI'd like to get that depressing post off my front page. Here's a topic that's been on my mind for some time, but was spurred now by having to go clothes shopping last night (blech).
So every time there's a pic of a character dressed up, there seems to be people going "OMG I LOVE A FUR IN A SUIT" etc. Which, y'know, is fine, personal preferences and all.
However, I'm burningly curious: how many of the people saying that DO dress up for a living? That's right, not putting on a suit for a sibling's wedding, or strutting around in a suit at cons just to look fancy, I mean wearing it five days a week, 12ish months a year. I'm going mostly by stereotypes, but given that most of the fandom is in various stages of young and/or geeky, I see very few who mention being office grunts. So I wonder how many of you getting all hot over and bothered over suits wear one often, or even OWN one.
Cuz let me tell you, it isn't just that I don't care for the aesthetics, but I do have an office job, and that "dressing up" gets old REAL fast, for so many reasons:
1) maintenance. That shit needs to be ironed, some of it sent to dry cleaners, starched, polished, altered, etc. Forget getting up five minutes before you need to be out the door.
2) expense. LOTS more $ than casual. Especially having gone shopping last night, as noted. Sob.
3) heat. Okay, I'm in Los Angeles, so most of you don't have a problem like this. Perhaps if I lived in Alaska I'd not mind as much. Still. It was ~100 for most of the past two weeks
4) comfort. Goes without saying. Whoever invented the necktie needs to be shot. Also, office clothing was NOT designed to be worn by my body type. I'm glad I'm a human, cuz wearing all that wool on fur would be torture.
I give props to those who are into high fashion AND practice what they preach.
the_gneech is definitely one. But I doubt there's many like him here, and I'm curious if I'll be proven wrong. Cuz frankly I'd imagine you'd find it loses its charm real fast once you've done it for fifteen years.
I'm also partially posting this as an explanation for the, shall we say, extreme casualness of the wardrobe of almost all of my cast. Cuz I'll be damned if I'm putting any of my boys through that shit. XD And that also explains my lax sense of fashion at cons, mainly because after spending all week in a monkeysuit, I very purposely make a point of getting as far away from that as I can in my off time, thanks. No, really, I'm dead serious. Nothing says "IDGAF about work" like dressing down.
Thoughts? [edit: it's cool hearing what your wardrobe for work is like, BUT I'm trying to see if it has any correlation with one's preferences on seeing OTHER guys in suits... if you can clarify that too pls?]

i.s.o. in Europe.
Posted 14 years agoBoth graphic novels are available for sale, and I generally send people to Sofawolf Press (although Furplanet and Rabbit Valley also sell them, for people who are used to buying through them).
However, I've been informed if you're in Europe, you can use Sofawolf's affiliate and have expedited shipping that way. Their site is linked off Sofawolf, but I just found out about it this week thanks to asyr...
So, here's Volume 1 on Blackpaw. Volume 2 is linked off the same page.
Just FYI.

Posted 14 years agoSomething I've wanted to do for a bit.
Recommend me a TOONY artist! (One challenge: someone besides yourself ;-p) Beefcake is, as always, a HUGE plus. Someone who draws primarily clean art. I think my favorites gives a good sense of what I like, generally western-animation styled, reasonably realistic anatomy. Some examples:
cooner
spunky
mutant-serpentina
rougee
I know there's more out there, I sometimes get lucky finding people through favorites...
Pls no being butthurt if I don't take the recommendation. Some styles click with me more than others.
Thanks! Been a crummy week, more from me when FA is fully up!
[edit: yeeks...I just realized this could end up being like art reviews, which really isn't my intent. Reserving comments only for the artists that I particuarly latch onto!]
Some examples:
cooner
spunky
mutant-serpentina
rougee I know there's more out there, I sometimes get lucky finding people through favorites...
