I really want to finish some of the previous works first before taking new ones, and all of them are in progress right now <3
I will most likely do inktober commissions next year, but for now, I will take my time to make current pictures the best quality possible ;v;
After all these job struggles I feel like anything I draw looks so bad and unworthy, and that's why I'm drawing more slowly than usual. But it will pass, at least I hope so
Stay tuned and thank you for being patient with me! I appreciate all the support and understanding, and hope you have a wonderful day ;w;

Posted 5 years agoI couldn't get to FA to write this lournal for a while now. As you already understood, this is about the matter my absence. If you have some free time, I would like to share with you what it is like to be a digital artist, and why it is very difficult at times. My case is the example of that.. sort of. There are also some answers to questions, covering the reason why I could disappear again, when I promised to be more active.
So..
Hello! Hope you feel good and you are safe.
As for me, I fell into a new stage of my life too quickly, not even having any time to let away the previous one and rest for a bit. The fact is that as soon as I graduated from the university (which was quite hard for me to deal with), I hurried to find a full-time job, without really thinking about what I wanted. My parents argued that freelancing is not very cool and an official job is essential, with which I partially agree, but for different reasons. Having applied for a couple of vacancies, it just so happened that I was quickly hired by a Russian outsourcing company for the development of game art. The competition is very tough, and for me it was a surprise, but this opportunity could not be missed.
I didn't have any summer as such, I completely spent it at work and in the bustle of the stuffy city. And now, I am a 2d artist, officially, I go to the office as an adult.
But in this regard, I again faced the fact that other activities distract me from full-time work here at FA, which was, among other things, in my plans. Doing what I like and working for those who value time and quality are what I have always liked about this place. I still love it and appreciate it.
But in the last month, trying to get used to the new rhythm of work, drawing without stopping all day and every day, with a pain in my hand, I could not find time for commissions and YCHs. And therefore I am sincerely ashamed that I disappeared again. I am infinitely grateful to those who are patient with me and my work and understand any situation that arises with the artist. But I am more and more ashamed, because it happened over and over again, it is repeated even after graduation, and now it will certainly not end soon.
I really enjoy working in a gamedev, but it's a lot of work that is hard to combine with frequent drawing of commissions and personal stuff. I feel like I'm progressing as an artist, and I'm moving on the right path, and that's why I wanted to tell you the following..
All the commissions and YCHs are in progress and soon I'll show them to all the commissioners privately - and to you guys too. Truth is I work on them before work in the morning and after work in the evening, as well as on weekends. And because it needs to be at least a little combined with resting, I can no longer be an active artist.
I will not take new commissions and YCHs until I have completed all the old ones.
The Patreon page will be deactivated until better times, when I will be more confident in my abilities.
Please don't lose me, and I'm very sorry for not answering you at times. Updates are coming soon!
I haven't been to the FA for a while because I was ashamed to make excuses again, but I want you to know that I love and appreciate everyone who continues to stay with me and support me, and thank you all for your patience and attention. ❤

Is the FA advertising still a thing?
Posted 5 years agoHey everyone! I wanted to ask you if the advertising here on FA still a thing after the design changes? :o From your perspective, as a watcher, I mean!
I’m not sure whether it’s still the same way visible, and if people keep attention to banners. Because personally I used to pay attention only to the upper banners, which were near menu stuff. And rarely looked through those who are below.

Now I have to do couple more things before I'm completely free from the university, but the hardest part is done.
For those who doesn't know, I did an educational guide of Paint Tool SAI program in the form of a comic book. It will be later translated into English and I'll show it to you if you're interested <3

Posted 5 years agoHello guys! Since I'm getting back to active drawing, I decided to open a commission waiting list for those, who are interested in getting an art from me in the future, having some particular idea on their mind and so on! (´｡• ᵕ •｡`)
How does it work?
- Once I'm done with commissions I'm currently working on, I'll look into the waiting list and pick a person from the waiting list to work with next.
- I will pick a person according to the option they want me to perform. For example, if I feel like doing the full-colored commission instead of some sketches, I'll pick a person with a soft-shaded picture option. And vice versa~
- I write to this person directly and ask about all the details.
- I'll work with 2 persons at the same time before jumping to other two.
The slots for the waiting list are UNLIMITED. So please if you want me to add you, please COMMENT BELOW with following information:

Doing my final project takes a lot of time and effort, but I’m pretty proud of it! It's an educational guide for Paint Tool SAI made fully in a form of comic book. 30/40 pages are done at the moment, and I'm looking forward to make it of the best quality. It will be translated into english too.
Couple of weeks and I can at last become a full-time artist!
Determined to graduate successfully (*´꒳`*)🌸 thanks for being patient with me everyone, and please stay safe - the world is crazy right now.

Posted 5 years agoI had to take a huge break once again. You see, I'm finishing my university course this year and I had some stressful times dealing with all the stuff the last month, so this month I was unable to do anything, drawing included.
I wanted to say huge thanks to everyone who's waiting on a commission/ych from me. I'm getting back to it, and there will be no huge breaks anymore after my graduation, cause I can finally become a full-time artist, saving for my future plans.
There also will be more arts soon, stay tuned!
I hope you're all well and safe in these crazy times, please be smart and don't get too much panic around this virus, it's important to keep your sanity balanced. <3

SECRET SANTA 2019-2020! [Closed!]
Posted 6 years agoHello guys! I’m back organizing the Secret Santa again! <3 With the same rules as last year! I’m a bit late this time, buut it’s still happening! Let’s spread that Christmas Cheer! >w<
I bet everybody knows about such an event as Secret Santa, among artists. This is a wonderful art-gift exchange for Christmas.
This one is not only for artists, but for commissioners as well.
PLEASE READ VERY CAREFULLY:

Before you decide to enter..
Do not join this Secret Santa unless you know that you will have time to complete your artwork within the time constraints (listed below). If you run out of time or become otherwise unable to complete your gift within the time given, you must contact me as soon as possible so that we can work something out. I try to be patient and understanding, so don’t be afraid to send me a note.
In the case of illness, injury or personal crises I am very understanding. However I am disappointed by poor excuses such as "I felt uninspired", "didn't feel like drawing" etc. If you are prone to these kinds of spells of unproductivity please do not participate. I apologize for seeming terse but take a moment to imagine my frustration.

How to sign up
1. First, read ALL of this journal. Take special note of the due dates, and ask questions if you don’t understand something.
2. Answer the comment “Sign up”. Inside the note you need to copy/paste and answer the following question:
"My Christmas wish is… "
(Provide a link to your character's reference sheet)
- You can list up to 3 characters for your Secret Santa to choose between (any more than three will be ignored)
- This system will ensure that every artist can choose a character that suits their level of drawing ability
"And my special wish for this holiday picture is.."
- You can write any wishes for what you want to see in the picture. It's optional though, so mind that your Santa can make something on their own.
If you are the one who draw:
"I will be the artist."
If your gift is a commissioned work:
"With my Christmas present : iconartist : helps me."
And you're all set! You will not hear back from me until November 23 - November 25 for your assignment.
So the sign-ups close November 23.

Getting your assignment
Between November 23 - November 25, I will be sending out notes with your secret gift recipient and their name. Find their sign-up and choose the character to draw. Then do your best!
I will pull random names out of a hat to match you up with your assignment. You must not swap with other players, and I won’t switch people around without a good reason. Also remember it’s a secret! Don’t tell anyone who your assignment is or it will ruin the surprise!
I urge you to begin drawing your image immediately and have it completed well before the due date so that you don’t have to worry about rushing at the last minute. Christmas is a very hectic time of year, and the New Year can creep up on you quickly.

Artwork requirements
- You can commission work from other artist.
- No free line-arts or photomanips permitted – you must draw the art yourself/make sure your artist makes it in a great way.
- Christmas/Holiday/New Years theme is completely optional but make it much as a Christmas gift anyway
- Backgrounds can be very simple; single-colour or photo is fine
- You have freedom of choice between a full-body or head-shot portrait
- No rough sketches or unfinished work. Put in some effort! If you submit a sketchy headshot it really looks like you're only participating to receive a gift, and that's not cool
- Gridding and tracing is permitted, as long as you put effort into it and the end result is high quality
- If you run out of time, you must let me know in advance (note me and we can work something out)

When and how to submit your gifts
You are not allowed to submit your gifts before 20th December.
However, you should note me and show the finished picture to me only, so I can note for myself that you are ready with it.
Submission period: 20th December - Jan 2.
1) Upload your gift to your gallery at any time during this period.
2) You can share your gift with secret gift recipient only during this period. You can answer their sign-up here, or just send a note.

If you don’t receive a gift
I can make no guarantee that your Secret Santa won’t unexpectedly have a life crisis, or for whatever reason be unable to complete their gift. If you have not received your gift by January 1st, please don’t panic, just send a note to me and let me know (even though I will probably already be aware of it). I will check on your Secret Santa to find out what is happening. Then we will arrange for a replacement artist to whip something up for you. It might come a little later than is normally considered festive, but this way nobody misses out.

If you are not happy with your gift
I don’t think it’s really necessary for me to say this, but for the benefit of the doubt, please be reminded not to look a gift horse in the mouth. In other words, if you are not happy with your Christmas gift for whatever reason, please refrain from complaining. Don’t view this event like a lottery or a lucky dip. The intent of a Secret Santa is to celebrate the spirit of giving, not receiving! So give selflessly, and hope to make somebody’s Christmas really special.
Also if you want to be a back-up artist, please note me! Sometimes it happens that someone can’t finish their gift for some serious reasons, but we can’t leave anyone without the Christmas gift, so here comes some help back-up artist can provide! But in the first place please MAKE SURE YOU CAN JOIN without any issues.
(Also, the back-up artist who actually will help out will get a single-use 10% discount off my commission/YCH price in the future <3)
