For a while now I've felt artistically stagnant. Sure, I've managed to produce a few things, but they all feel unfinished, and I'm just not as happy with them as I could be. At least partially I feel that my style has grown stale, that I haven't evolved at all as an artist. So recently I've been trying to branch out and learn.

More specifically, I'm learning digital painting and shying away from the solid colors comic book style I've used before. I'm hoping that if I can expand my artistic horizons maybe I'll find new inspiration and motivation, and new confidence.

To that end, I've started doing landscape paintings to learn the techniques. Once I'm comfortable with the things I'm trying, I'll branch out into more complex subjects, but I don't feel I'm up to it just yet. And if anyone has tips or advice they'd like to share, or tutorials and lessons they'd recommend, please do so! I definitely need all the help I can get.
