October Commissions Open, and Sept Commission Update

I've had to push a couple of my September commissions back to the first days of October, But I'm going to be spending the rest of September getting my current commission list finished. Sorry about that, guys. I've gotten better about getting commissions, but it's still not good enough. I'm working hard to be better about it. Commission deliveries will be delayed by a day or so because they're shutting down my power tomorrow to do maintenance.
As always, if you don't see the commission you ordered on any of the calendars, please note me about it so that we can get it sorted out.

Posted 8 years agoApparently my whining was better advertising that I've done months! Thank you everyone who has ordered a commission. I got my bills paid this month! I'm a hair behind schedule, but some unexpected free time has materialized, so I should be completely back on track by tomorrow night.

Does no one want a commission?
Posted 8 years agoI'm staring down the barrel of a couple of already-late utility bills, and I'm wondering if I've done something wrong in terms of advertising, because no one seems to want to order a commission. Am I being paranoid?

*FURTHER EDIT* Sorry if this seems whiny, but sometimes it gets to the point where I can't be too proud to beg. Commission work pays my bills, and I've had multiple people tell me that the solution to my problem is to not rely on commissions for support, as if I can just magically make a job appear. It gets pretty frustrating at times.

Does anyone know about URL redirection?
Posted 8 years agoI want to be able to post a link in my submissions that I can always have pointing to the URL of the newest commission calendar on my page, so I'd need to be able to change the URL the link points to. Anyone know a good way to do this?
Basically, what I'm looking for is to be able to post a link in the description of submissions that points to my current commission calendar, and then just change where that link is pointing when I post a new calendar. That way I don't have to go through every submission and update the link manually.

I've opened up Sketch commissions again ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/22544962/ ) just to get the ball rolling on orders, but I WILL NOT BE WORKING ON THEM UNTIL the week of the 13th. That way, if you have an outstanding commission from me, I can finish it this week. I'm going to be completely free starting thursday, so I will be spending that time getting caught up.

Posted 9 years agoI've gotten such a flood of commission orders, I'm temporarily closing the commission list until I have my current backlog finished. Sorry for the delays, folks. I've been taking summer classes at the college, and they are real intense.

Posted 9 years agoHey, guys. Sorry. I've been crazy swamped and trying to catch up to my commissions. College degrees aren't a cakewalk, it would seem. Good news is I'm getting close to on schedule. Bad news is I have to push the September schedule back two days. But that is all. I'll have all the outstanding commissions done today, and I can focus on keeping the commission schedule going. I know another delay sucks, but this is the last one, I promise. Again, my apologies.

Posted 9 years agoSo, hey guys. Clearly I'm a bit behind on my commission list. Se here's what I'm doing. Any new commissions ordered are going to be scheduled on the September Commission Calendar (which I will post sometime in the next day or two).
I will be spending the rest of this month catching up on my current backlog of commissions. I've noted some of you about the situation, so if you have a pending commission from me and haven't received a note about it, you'll be getting your commission by the 31st.

Posted 9 years agoSorry, guys. I've been fighting through a wrist problem and it's really slowed me down. I've tried powering through it, but ultimately I think I'm doing more harm than good. I've gotten to the point where I don't want to exacerbate the injury any further, so I rejiggered the schedule to give my hand a decent amount of rest. Commissions are still available, and the commission calendar accurately reflects my current availability, so if you want to order a commission, you can do so right here:
