Unfortunately for my current commissioners (you know who you are), I misplaced my tablet pen in the move, and only just now found it. I should have said something first.

These last few months have been insane. I've been looking for work, going to school, and trying to finish projects. My mom had a small stroke at the beginning of November, and that consumed weeks of my attention. (She's okay, btw. Only minor damage.)

So, I've spent what little free time I had finishing my commission queue, and I can say for the first time in five years that I have no outstanding commissions.

I have one drawing left that needs shading and then my commission schedule is free. For those of you that bought pencil sketches in the tablet drive, I have them finished and I'm waiting for a clear day to get pictures of them to send you. I know I said I'd get ya'll potato phone pictures of them to tide you over, but my phone turned out a little too potatoey to get the job done. So hopefully, once this rain stops, I'll be able to get that all finished up.

Incidentally, I'm opening up commissions again. I've decided on a system that will once and for all prevent me from procrastinating on commissions.

A) I will only be taking one commission a day. That way I won't overload myself and burn out like I tend to do.

B) If I don't get the commission to the commissioner on the day I say I will, they will be entitled to a full refund.

There are a few more details to the plan, but I'll go over those in the commission post.

So, I've got most of the pencil sketches done. School has started, so I don't have as much time lately, but i'm getting through them. I have two or three left to do.

The problem is, I don't have a scanner. My phone would have worked really great to take pictures of the commissions, but it is broken, and I'm using a shitty replacement right now.

So here's my question to you guys: Would you like me to send you shitty photos of your sketches and get better images of them later? Or would you like to just wait for the better images?

Had to push the commission schedule back a day due to technical difficulties with my tablet pen, but I think I've got things working well enough to continue now.

My pen isn't working anymore. It keeps jittering and stopping as I draw. The mouse accessory works fine, so it's not the tablet.

I'm not sure what to do about this. I can't afford a new pen right now, but I've got commissions to finish.

I had to go out of town over the weekend to see a family member who'd hit the final stages of Alzheimer's. Wasn't much of a goodbye for her, considering her condition, but was good to get together with the family and help comfort them.

Anyway, no more bummers. I'm going to open the next stage of commissions on Friday, and answer my notes and finish up the commissions from last week in the interrim. Furaffinity is telling me that's not how you spell that, but I'm too tired to fix it. Updates tomorrow. Have a good night.

Hey, guys. I woke up today with a swollen vein in the base of my right thumb (my drawing hand) that was tender to the touch. So I went to the doctor to get it checked out.

Long story short, it's likely a small, soft clot in a peripheral vein, so it shouldn't cause any real problems and be re-absorbed over time. I was told to keep an eye on it and come in if it gets worse, so fingers crossed that it doesn't.

Since I burned today on a doctor's visit, I'm going to have to push my current schedule back a day, so look there for an update later.

I know I said I wouldn't take on more commissions until my current ones are done, but I've got most of that work completed and it shouldn't take me more than the next couple of days to finish them. If it does, or if I've forgotten someone's commission and they remind me about it, I'll put it on the schedule to make damn sure I get them done.

So it seems that when I fall behind, I fall WAAAAAAY behind. A lot of you have gotten your commissions. A lot of you haven't. I need to catch up so that I can go back on schedule. That was working incredibly well until it got catastrophically interrupted.

To that end, I'm promising right now, no matter what happens, I will not be taking on any more commissions until I've cleared my list. And when I do start commissions again, I will be cutting back what I sell and scheduling time for the really old commissions I have left. No more fucking around. No more saying I'll do them in my free time. I will schedule 20 hours a week to work on my most derelict commissions. You all have been waiting too long for me to get my shit together, so here it is.
