So two of my teeth have infected cavities that require root canal procedures, like, yesterday.

Unfortunately, I simply don't have the money for either of these procedures, I have no insurance, and I don't know if I'll qualify for financing. Meanwhile, the pain in my jaw is so excruciating that I'm actually having a hard time typing this. I can't sleep. I can't go to work. I can't draw. I'm exhausted.

I'm not one to ask for charity. I was raised to pull myself up by my bootstraps, but this is one situation where I can't see that happening.

I can't focus. The Fourth Annual Scream Fortress Event is tomorrow. I've got a dog in that race, and I cannot be more anxious. Damn would it be great to have an item in TF2.

Wicked spoilers for the Tali romance and ME3 in general, so if you haven't played it, avert your eyes. And I haven't finished the game, so don't spoil anything for me.

So far, ME3 has been the best in the series for me. I've thoroughly enjoyed every mission, especially the quarian mission I just finished.

I loved being able to reconcile the geth and the quarians. I loved seeing legion again and got misty-eyed when he sacrificed himself for his people. I loved reuniting with Tali and seeing the culmination of the romantic relationship I had established in the previous game. It was great to hear her tell Shepard she loves him. She even left a picture of herself for him in his cabin...

Here's the deal. A lot has been said about this picture, I know. But I have to put my two cents in.

Tali's design isn't what bothers me. I think it strikes a decent balance between human and alien features. My only real complaint about the design is all that hair. Seems like that would be really inconvenient when you wear a helmet all the time. So I'd have preferrd she have a shorter haircut.

No, my problem is the picture itself. If you don't know, Tali's picture is a photoshop of a getty stock photo. I've got two problems with this:

- the stock photo doesn't look like an in-game asset, and it break my suspension of disbelief something awful.

- It's lazy. If bioware wasn't going to take the time to model her face they should have just left it out. I've spent three games waiting to see this shit, and a lame photoshop is all you give me?!

I know this probably isn't a big deal to non-tali-romancers, but this is my character's significant other! The love of his life! Did bioware really not think we'd care about this?

All I can hope for is a sureptitious patch in the extended cut that adds a modeled face to that picture frame.

Maybe a shot of her face in the epilogue?

I'm not gonna set a timeline of when I can get them done, because I just started a full time job, but rest assured, I'm trying to get them done as fast as I can.

I've come to understand that the group behind the video I've posted is not the most effective one to put your time and money into, but the messege still stands. Misguided as Inivisible Children are, it does not change the fact that the LRA still operates in central Africa, still commits heinous war crimes, and still needs to be stopped.

Write your congressman. Write your senators. Make them understand that this in not an ancillary issue. This goes to the very heart of our humanity and decency. We should do all we can to stop this kind of monstrous crime, wherever it occurs.

Rarely does a figure emerge in the world that can so unequivocally be called evil. Joseph Kony is such a figure. Make him famous, and help bring him to justice. It is simply the right thing to do.

I was going to finish up some commissions tonight, but somehow some goop wound up on my computer. It leaked in and now my motherboard is fried. I'm currently posting from my sister's computer.

So now I'll need to save up the cash to buy a new motherboard, so it'll probably be at least a month before I can get my computer working again. I'll try to figure out a way to get some work done in the meantime, but this isn't a very good computer, and I don't know if i want to be drawing porn on someone else's computer.

So that's the situation. We'll see what happens.
