A few notes I need to clarify on the extension of the March round/cancellation of april round.
-First and foremost, I am one person and I have a full time job, I love running this group and I'm happy to be the owner, but sometimes things get delayed at work and I get a bit behind. You all have been so patient with me and I super appreciate all of you for it. It's been an honor working with you all and I am happy to continue! However if there is something urgent you need to discuss, please contact me on. I will answer and address any concerns much faster there.
-Second! I am a ding dong and I accidentally assigned one person to two people, meaning that one person in the list isn't going to get art. This is not the first time I've done this and any time this happens I personally draw for the missing person myself, which I will do this round too. So speaking of which; Angelwolf, your badge is coming!! I'm sorry <3
-Another thing I need to address from a previous round is that if someone supports something that you do not agree with, I can't exactly change everything around for you. I'm sorry, I wish I could, but it's unfair to anyone else participating as well. It's supposed to be a fun exchange event, we do not need to get into politics or anything like that. I'm just here to make people happy and give others a chance to get some fun art practice in while drawing gifts for others. This group is for fun and I want to keep it that way, this is such a good little community that's constantly growing (I see you new watchers!! <3) and it makes me so happy, I don't want to see fighting or anything of the sort.
And now for the very important part that delayed this round.
Someone was accused of tracing for their badge, and I had to do some digging but I found it.
If you are accusing of tracing, you must provide proof of such.
This is a serious accusation and I do not always have time to hunt down the accused piece as well as the piece that was traced. However if I do find it as such, the person who traced will be blacklisted As I've stated, this is a very fun group that welcomes all styles and skill levels. If you are uncomfortable drawing a character, please contact me, I will be happy to reach out for another character/alternate option. But please, do not trace.

Posted a year agoTerribly sorry to drop this suddenly, but there were a few issues I need to address and I need some more time to do so. Your sign ups for the April journal will still count for May! If something comes up and you do not wish to participate in May's round, you may hide your comment.

January Blacklist and Adoptions

ADOPTIONS:
To adopt, leave a comment with the name of the user that you would like to draw a badge for. You have not officially adopted that user until it is confirmed by a mod (it may be several hours or next day). Try to look at other comments to make sure that nobody else has adopted that user first. You have two weeks from the day you adopt to turn in your adoption badge, After that time, if the user has not received a badge, they will be re-adopted to a different user. I will not chase you down to find out if you are still working on it. Mark your calendars.
In the event that a blacklisted user turns in their badge for an adopted user, the adoptive badge can still be drawn and given to them, considering that they had to wait an uber long time to get their original.
**If you have been blacklisted and finish your badge, you will effectively be removed from the blacklist and allowed to participate in future rounds! I want this to be fun and fair for everyone, as we have built up a very nice little community!
We need adoptions for the following:
- Denotes someone who had been adopted
**** denotes a user who did not receive a badge, but also did not turn one in. they cannot be adopted until their own work is completed.

-If you have complicated/monster characters they are also welcome but it is recommended you give a secondary character as well since this community does allow beginner, harder creatures can be a little out of their level.

General Updates and Checking in!
Posted 2 years agoHello everyone! I just wanted to reach out and thank you all so much for your patience with me lately!
I work in a vet clinic and we are steadily preparing for the inevitable influx of cases we'll be getting this holiday season, so I've been working extra hours in prep for that.
I am still trying to keep everything nice and tidy and on time for you all. I look forward to sending out assignments every month and seeing all the wonderful pieces you all complete. =)
Come November/December I'm thinking of doing a two month round since the holidays tend to be busy, and it'll allow you all to go all out for your badges!
Also I just wanted to say that I super appreciate all of you, I see familiar faces every round and it always brings a smile to my face to know that you're all enjoying this as much as I do. Blacklist: none!
ADOPTIONS:
To adopt, leave a comment with the name of the user that you would like to draw a badge for. You have not officially adopted that user until it is confirmed by a mod (it may be several hours or next day). Try to look at other comments to make sure that nobody else has adopted that user first. You have two weeks from the day you adopt to turn in your adoption badge, After that time, if the user has not received a badge, they will be re-adopted to a different user. I will not chase you down to find out if you are still working on it. Mark your calendars.
In the event that a blacklisted user turns in their badge for an adopted user, the adoptive badge can still be drawn and given to them, considering that they had to wait an uber long time to get their original.
**If you have been blacklisted and finish your badge, you will effectively be removed from the blacklist and allowed to participate in future rounds! I want this to be fun and fair for everyone, as we have built up a very nice little community!
We need adoptions for the following:
- Denotes someone who had been adopted
**** denotes a user who did not receive a badge, but also did not turn one in. they cannot be adopted until their own work is completed.

As always, if you feel you have been posted on the blacklist in error, let us know. Sometimes we make mistakes. Sometimes people post their work in the wrong place and we don't see it.
