Well first, it's been a while since I've made a journal.

9 years... Honestly I want to say the time has flew by but in reality there's been lots of shifts in my life. Though the main thing I want to get at is how I became a 'furry' in the first place. It's likely a situation some others can relate to, you're an impressionable kid/teen who browses the internet and eventually are bound to come across some subcultures. Well my big thing was that my entire focus was beating my balloon phobia and with the lack of substantive 'content' relating to balloons, I eventually came across the furry fandom. With the furry fandom came art, and the art was *cough* great and the people were amazing!

As years went on, the only constant in my life was people here in the fandom and I would never change that. It's just that with time passing on and the growth of other sectors of looner content growing and flourishing, I've eventually found truly what I desired the entire time with looner art.

Humans + Animal features or basically Kemonomimi

After blowing through every idea I could think of with Cookie, my desire for art was honestly waning. I felt like everything I could've gotten, I had gotten and my reputation was set in stone as 'the other balloon stomper' along with StompyChar.

This past 2 years I've come to really embrace this new sector of looning, this Anime/Kemonomimi branch. The joy for commissioning art has once again been relit and it's likely that Cookie will most of the time end up being in his Neko form. I realized that while the furry fandom is awesome, I never truly was a furry enjoyer in the way others are. I still love Cat Cookie with all my being, there's just going to be double. :)

If you're not a fan of Neko Cookie you're completely free to ignore my page, I won't blame you. Though if you don't mind the hybrid shenanigans, I'll try to keep you updated on the stuff I get!

So it’s been a little over a week since Laura has hit and boy is things interesting. I’ve honestly just been so tired and stressed, the first few days felt like eternity. Driving in bumper to bumper traffic to home and from whatever hotel we could stay for the night. Thankfully after a long drive to a shelter we were able to get a voucher to live in a hotel about 5 hours away from my city, we’re crushed but it’s better than trying to call every hotel you come across for a 1 night stay. So for the past few days we’ve been settling down and trying to relax, taking time to think about what our next goals are because it’s going to be a few more weeks until my city gets water and electricity again.

So I got back home yesterday, and.... Tree branch speared through my roof, a giant hole in the house but it’s sad to say but I’m lucky. Lots of people’s homes are uninhabitable, so I know it’s bad but it could be worse. We’ve been hopping family homes the past couple of days who have been very understanding and hospitable which has really made this mess bearable. The reality of the situation hasn’t kicked in yet but I’m sure I’m gonna break down a few times.

Got my evacuation pack ready to go, just hope that putting my PC set-up in the most secure room of the house would keep it from getting poured on. Welp will only know whenever it passes.

Edit Aug 27th: The hurricane has passed my home and the evacuation home I’m staying in, the evacuation home is fine but definitely damaged. Not sure when we’re going home but I’m not looking forward to it.

So you may have noticed that most of my last submissions have been stories, a part of me keeps want to dabbling in them more so... curious...

What kind of stories do you guys normally seek out or feel there isn't enough of? I won't guarantee i'll just start doing every idea I see, though I need to expand my small brain PoV.

New Cookie will be named Cookie
Old Cookie will be re-named to Vanilla-fudge, a more fitting name for him.

I've honestly never been happy with him, even through 4 ref sheet changes he's the only character I feel is not up to par with where he should be, been thinking about giving him an alt-color since i'm not getting rid of him. I've been thinking of making him all of a Cookie and more of a "normal" character while still sticking of the theme of Dessert. So if anyone has any idea or artist who may fit the work, price isn't as much important.

Honestly went by really quickly, had an old account in 2012 I just watched on so this was quite a wonderful and weary experience :3

My 4 month old computer flopped on me, I'm 90% sure its the power supply, if it turns out to be the motherboard or CPU when I get it checked out next Monday it'll bury a hole in my savings. ewe

The reason I think it's the power supply, is that the computer randomly stopped working no fans or other components on the computer are in service, I would be more/less worried if certain parts were working.

Currently* using my "crap"top I still had laying around before I got my computer so thank goodness I didn't just pawn the damn thing even though it's been a pain in my arse.

update 1: Its the power supply got it tested today and it's dead, so that's good and bad.

After being on a laptop for 4 years I finally have my first computer & monitor and it's so different from my daily routine on the internet, well back to downloading everything I had my laptop.
