Hi all! I always like to personally thank everyone who watches me and it helpes me discover new friends and people to watch back. Since losing internet back in August I havent been able to shout back and watch anyone. So to everyone one who started watching me since the end of August I want to thank you and as soon as I get internet back I'll be giving you a shout! You are not forgotten!

As in the words of our beloved Arnold: I'll be back.

Yup you might have noticed I have been kinda quiet here on the interwebs because of the simple fact that I dont have internet still! Yup, still no internet. The last time I saw internet at my house was late august. I was planning on getting it back this month but turns out once a year I get slammed with massive classic car insurance bill and its that time of the year. So no internet again for me. Yeah really sux. So now Im looking at November I will be making a call to Fios. If you look at the big picture it is totally crazy how much internet cost. I always thought as internet became more available and technology got cheaper the pice of internet would go down but it hase gone up! I wish we still were able to pay 20 bucks or less for internet. So Im not dead I and I didnt leave, just no internet is all.

After reading a bunch of replies from a post by the straightfurs group I have noticed there are huge amount of single lonely people out there and its mostly guys. I being one of them. Is there like a shortage of single women out there or somthing. In and out of the furry fandom I have been unable to start an actual relationship with a woman in very long time. It seems like everyone is taken and even more so as I get older. Im 27 years old and I feel that women my age have already established long trem relationships. Its like the ship has sailed for me. It makes me sad that I spending 20s without someone in my life. A time in my life where I could do so much with someone. I see my friends with thier girlfriends going out and enjoying life together. I have no one to share that with. Im mean, I am enjoying my life. Im always having fun with great friends but there is always this hole in my life not having someone. It's not like I have not been looking. Trust me I have been looking since 2002. I really don't what Im doing wrong here. Maybe its just me. I don't know anymore. Im about to throw in the towl here and just face the fact that I'll be single till I die or end up one of those lonely old men who marries some lady with kids from a pervious failed marrage out of shear desperation.

Man this sucks! Internet phone and TV have all been turned off at my house. HD cable boxes and modem all gone. It feels like 1990 now. So you may not see much of me on line untill I get this all figured out. I'll check in when I can. Thanks to us living in the future now I still do have internet on my phone so all is not lost.

Yup! AC here I come. Getting the bags all packed and ready to shove off tonight! I can't wait! Anthrocon has a special place in my heart. AC 2009 was the first convention I ever went to. It had this awe and wonderment about it when I attended. Sadly the wonderment of it all is gone and I now know what it is like to attend a furry convention but I am still super excited to come back and meet all the amazing people I didn't say a word to at AC 09 cause I knew no one and almost no one knew who I was. Since AC 09 I have made so many new friends in person and on-line. Its just gonna be epic to get back there and finally say hi to everyone in person. I just hope today doesn't drag on forever! I wanna hit the road!

I had a blast at FA:U. It was great to finally to go to a FA con. Actually FA:U 2 was going to be my first con but I decided to go a week too late and I knew absolutely no one back then. I was totally in the dark lol. All in all it was an awesome, awesome time. This con was very different from all the other cons I have attended. This time I was part of con staff! I was actually in charge of things which was very strange for me. I'm usually the happy go lucky lets just wing it kinda guy and here I was planning things. I think I did alright, this being my first time doing this.
I was in charge of fursuit related activities. Overall I think the fursuiters had a good time. Now that the con is over I know what to expect for FA:U 4. There were a few things that I will work on improving for next year.

The Headless Lounge
-Basically I think the lounge did its job. A staple of that was the head tree which  shortwave brought and set up. I can't thank him enough for that!

-There was also box fans. Now box fans can cool you down overall but its not that refreshing blast of cool air you get from blowers so I'll be working to get some of those in there for next year.

-The hotel staff was on top of keeping a good supply of cold water and cups in there but the long straws were something that I missed. I was annoyed at myself for forgetting those because I love using them too. I will have them next time!

-The hotel staff provided tons of towels which was super awesome but no where to put used ones. I'll see if we could get a bin or something to put them in just keep the lounge nice and neat. I noticed they were just getting tossed all over.

-FA:U is a very laid back con but there were really no rules or guidelines for the headless lounge. There were no issues but to respect suiter privacy I think I will post some basic rules for next year.

-Water in the headless lounge is a good thing but I think snacks would make it even better. Its never good to fursuit on an empty stomach. Being a fursuiter myself I find it annoying to totally get out of suit to just munch on something. I'll provide the lounge with granola bars, fruit snacks and things so you can feed your face while your head is off ha ha!

Fursuit Follies Room
-This room was intended for fursuiter interaction. Basically suiters could just mess around all they like in there. Its better than trying to have fun in the hallway. Now the room was used but I found that the lack music did put a damper on it. Even when suiters were messing around in there it was quiet. I'll see if we can get some music so it doesn't sound like a library in there.

-The pool noodles, balloons, and hula hoops were fun but there are more things to have fun with so there will be definitely more things to play with next time around.

The Fursuit Games
-The games were held a bit early so a second game was held as well. I think both went pretty well. I was unsure of the amount of suiters that were going to attend so most games were not team based. I will try to focus around more team based games for next year and have prizes better than a bag of ginger snaps. Also a big thanks to  recca_sen_li for being the dj at the games and to Skippy and Zero for coming up with game ideas.

For me FA:U was a really great "friends" con. There were so many faces that I knew and I loved chatting it up with everyone. I did a bit of running around for panels and events during the con which may have cause my encounters to be a bit brief with friends but was still a great experience. Since this is a Jersey con and its right in my backyard I'll always love to be on staff. FA:U is a part of me and I'm a part of FA:U.

Well my bus fare just shot through the roof. It now cost me over $150 a week to get to work now. This pisses me off so much! I wouldn't mind if the service has gotten better but the service is worse. They raised prices and pulled routes. Not only is the cost annoying me but the 2 hour commute is getting on my nerves as well. 4 hours of my life monday thru friday is lost due to commuting. This leaves me with no time to do anything after work. My life is devoted to the weekends pretty much. I would like to have a bit of a life after work. and also save a little money on bus fare. So if anybody is looking for a roommate give me a shout. Id like to test out a week or so to see if would benifit both of us money wise. Also even if not a roommate just crash space a day or so a week if I'm working late. I'll still throw you a few bucks.

I figured I have told everyone I needed to tell about me and all this furry stuff. I have received mostly good reactions from it. There are still a few people I haven't told but it seems that I just don't feel like explaining it to them. There is one friend I known since high school that I commute to work with everyday but for some reason when we talk or hang out its like complete normal mode for both of us. I mean there are wacky jokes and we make fun of things but its just on this level of normality that I don't think I could tell him about furries or if there was even a need to. We're just two guys talking on the way to work. Well, he got a glimpse of my furry life today. I got a new phone the other day and my new twitter client displays user icons very large on the screen. So I'm sitting next to my friend on the bus and he says "what is that?" I tired to play it off and began explaining the twitter client I was using. Then he was like "yeah, but they were all like critters on there" All I said was yup and then continued to scroll through my missed tweets. I knew he was watching me scrolling through a sea of wolf, husky and fox icons. I can only image what was going through his head. I was gonna say something but then I figured screw it. I gotta sit next to the guy everyday on the bus.

Is it just me? Every time I look at a hotel now I think to myself "hmm wouldn't it be awesome if there were a convention there." Conventions have screwed my brain up. I ended up staying at a few hotels these past couple of months and every time I go to one now I'm pretending there is a con going on. I'll be in the room and I'll be thinking there are fursuiters outside wandering the halls, lobby and room parties all around. The only thing that kills the illusion is the silence.

Got the plane tickets and room space. Awesome, awesome, awesome! I rooming with  harleybadger1 which kicks ass. Damn, I can't wait! Man, I have been going through con withdrawals like crazy! Ooh and its only a few weeks away! This is gonna rock!

Wow! I told one of my last remaining friends that didn't know I was furry that I was a furry. The shocking thing is he never even knew about furries until tonight. This guy is always on the internet and he makes videos on line and everything and he never even heard of furry. That blows my mind. He is totally amazed by it now. He ran home and is like researching it now. I get him fair warning though about what he may find. But the guy jokes about all the wacky shit he finds on the net anyway so I dont think it will phase him. Which still amazes me how never found furries. He wants to go to a convention and everything now. But of course to dude is moving to California in a few months so I prob never see him again which sucks. Dammit!

My whole take on fursuiting has changed in my furry adventure which has been less than a year so far. Way back in the dark ages of the 90s when I discovered fursuiters, I, like the ill informed general public, saw them as strange individuals. It wasn't until a few years ago that I took a second look at fursuiting and discovered the creative carefree fun aspect of it and the awesome people that make the characters come alive. For a few years I sat there reading blogs and watching videos. Fursuiters were becoming celebrities to me. It never crossed my mind that I could be a fursuiter too just because something like that would have been way out of the norm for me. Then one day I just didn't care anymore and just did it. I got me a fursuit and rocked Anthrocon 2009. After that I was hooked.

Now, since I kind of hit the ground running into this fandom I really I had no idea what I was going to do. Right off the bat I didn't really have any strong connection to any fursona or anything like that. I was just some guy that had been watching for years and decided to say hi to some furries. I sketched up a yellow cat and stole the name from my car and ta da I had a fursona. Then Anthrocon was around the corner and I was dead set on being a fursuiter no matter what. Yet again I had no connection to any type of animal. All I wanted to do was wear a fursuit at Anthrocon. In a matter or an hour JD, JimmyWolf and I sketched up plans for my fursuit in a Chipotle. Ta da fursuit!

At the time I did not know what it would be like to be a fursuiter. My objective was just to have fun and be able to say to other suiters I had seen on the internet. The first time wearing a fursuit was fun but then there was this whole other feeling of being something else which was amazing. Its hard to describe but its not like your just putting some kind of Halloween costume on. Its kind of like that movie Becoming John Malkovich. Your something totally different.

I was overwhelmed with that feeling until midway of Anthrocon when I discovered something new. Fellow furs were laughing their asses off at my fursuit performance. Then this whole entertainer side of me kicked in. I was not focusing on just becoming something else, I had established a character. I then started focusing on portraying my "shedz" character. I got a real kick out of it. I actually had people crying from laughing.

Then the video analysis kicked in. At this point I was watching the video that my friends and I took while at Anthrocon. Only then did I start feeling a connection with a character and acknowledging that its actually me. Then posting my own you tube videos up there with other fursuiting videos that I watched a few years before I realized I had become a fursuiter. I was now one of them. Views and comments on my shedz character started to come in saying how they loved him. That was a great feeling.

I don't wear Shedz as much as I used to but hes never going away. He will always be the crazy nut job. I do feel a very strong connection to my Rock-it character though. He just feels more me I guess. I didn't think I would actually get really attached to any of my characters but there is something about my Rock-it suit when I look at it, I see some of the real me in there. Rock-it is probably the closest furry representation of my actual self which is amazing since I bought the suit already made and I had no input of the design. Its kinda scary cause a few friends think of Rock-it's face instead of my actual face when they hear Coopertom. Ha ha.

I find myself saying this a lot but I never imagined myself being a fursuiter. Its just one of those things that just clicked one day. I tend not over complicate, and over analyze things but why do I do it and why do I love it? Now I know deep down somewhere there has to be some kind of text book answer or theory. I don't care about that stuff. Quite frankly I doubt anything in this fandom could have a pin point answer just because it could be anything to anyone.

What does fursuiting mean to you?

I'm heading down to Florida today to inspect a 1983 DeLorean. If all goes well and the car is not a complete basket case I'm buying it. The pics I saw online of the car, look really good. It sucks I gotta drive all the way down there but its a big chunk of change to blow without actually seeing the car.
I'm so amped right now. I might actually get my dream car finally! I have wanted a DeLorean since I was 5!

And, oh yes, I will wear my Marty McFly suit :P

I have this passion for cars. I can't seen to get enough of them. The more bizarre, odd, quirky or even crappy, the more I like the car. I like driving cars that make you think to yourself "wow I can't remember the last time I saw one of those". Now, I do have a piece of modern metal. I do drive a 2002 MINI Cooper for when its mandatory I get to point a to point b. All other occasions I will drive something old and not common place.
The most favorite car I have is my VW Bus. I believe cars represent a lot about a person. For some odd reason the VW Bus just screams me. Some people may get it, some may not, but when you come across a vehicle you like you get that connection. It just fits me. I'm comfortable in it. Its handy for everything I need and its like a home away from home. My bus will probably be one of those vehicles I will never get rid of. Some vehicles, the longer you own them, you begin to tire of them. This is the opposite for me with the bus. If its a short trip or a road trip I become more attached to it because whatever it is the bus is part of the experience.
I highly suggest if you never took a drive in a classic car, do so! It makes getting there half the fun.

Holy cow this is awesome! I was never in the fursuit tournament or anything like that but for Tilt to consider me fursuiter of the year is really an honor. It was Tilt's videos that made me want to start participating in the furry fandom to begin with. When I started fursuiting I never expected to get this much attention. I just figured I'd goof around, have some fun and post some vids here and there. This year was truly an amazing experience for me.

All of you are what made this year so amazing for me. I appreciate the time you take to send me comments, shouts, artwork and to sit there to watch my ridiculous videos. It really, really means a lot to me, knowing that I make so many people happy out there. I can't thank all of you enough.

Now, I like snow, just not a lot of it. Just enough snow to make everything look wintery is fine with me. Its the damn snow that just doesn't stop, thats the kind of snow that pisses me off. Back in the good ol' school days I would be jumping for joy right now but I had so many awesome plans lined up this weekend I won't be able to do any of them.

First of all, I missed the fur meet two weeks ago and I was like damn this week it will be awesome to go again. Of course my boss dumps this high priority job on me so I had to take care of that instead. I was bummed but I still had two more awesome things planned for Friday and Saturday. So I sacraficed the furmeet.

Friday was the company xmas party with all the free booze you can think of. So I was totally amped for that. I drove up to work so I could sleep it off and come home the next day. Little did I know there was a frigging blizzard headed our way. So when I found out about that in the office I was pissed cause now I couldn't drink! So I hung around the party sober and headed home before the snow started.

Now what totally sucks is now I'm gonna miss the furry bowling meet down in Delaware! This really sucks! Man, I was so looking forward to going too! It was going to be so awesome. There was going to be more local NJ furs heading down and everything. I doubt they're going. Damn this snow really pisses me off.

On top of everything else this was going to be my last shopping day and thats not going to happen too. Why hell did it have to snow this weekend! Dammit, danmmit, dammit!
