Okay, I've started posting more art again to prove that I'm alive! This also proves that the apartment I'm in right now has both a reliable computer and internet connection, and a scanner! And now that I've finally gotten settled, I can get back to drawing! So, expect to see me updating a bit more in July than I have in June. Thanks to all the loyal folks who watch me, and stay tuned for more!

No, I'm not going to another site, or removing all my art. I'm literally moving, or at least, trying to. I can't live in my parents' house any longer. I'll be trying to find some friends who can put me up until I can get a place of my own, but I can't stay here. Why? Because my art is under attack! My mother found, and destroyed, one of my pictures today, and that is an attack on my privacy, my trust, my feelings, my respect, and myself in general. So, I'm taking my art, my fursuit, and everything else important to me and leaving. This may mean I can't update for a while, depending on the access to a scanner wherever I'll be staying, so please bear with me.

Alright, I haven't updated this journal for about a month, so what the heck, here we go. I've been taking commissions now for a few weeks. I started just to see if I could get any serious business out of it. And honestly, I'm surprised by the results I've gotten. The first person to commission me asked if I was accepting commissions before I even said anything. Then, while I was doodling at work one day, I commented offhandedly to a mundane coworker that someone had was paying me to draw a picture, and she asked me to draw one for her! It hasn't stopped there, but I'm not going into detail about every one of them. Let's just say that I'm rather happy with the results of this little foray into semi-professional art drawing... stuff. And really, it's working out really well. My pencil recently broke, and my sketchbook is just about full to the last page, so I can use the money I've been making off of commissions to buy even more art supplies, for more commissions! A vicious cycle, but it's wonderful!

Okay, time for an update.

I realize I haven't been particularly vocal on this site with my journal. Neither am I particularly frequent with journal updates on DA. I have a LJ account for that. But, I do enjoy posting some of the more major or drastic events of my life in other areas. So, that's why I'm posting now. Thursday marks a good day. For you see, that is the day I got hired for a new job. After having difficulty getting/keeping a job over the past few months, I'm happy to finally have a steady place of employment that I can survive working at. It's a gardening store, and basic retail work, but it's something I can do. And with an income again, finally, I can afford all the good things in life. Like cons and drawing supplies and all that fun stuff. Granted, I'll have less time to actually draw, or hang out online, but it's a fair exchange, I think, for actually getting paid.

Alright, I've recently created this account on FA, so I suppose it's time to fill it up. I'll be updating a lot of stuff in my gallery, from way back when I first started. Most of it's also on my DA account, which I still use, so I'm just importing it all here as well. Any new stuff will most likely go up on both sites, so if you watch one or the other, you'll be sure to see most, if not all, of my submissions.
