Artist and friend LionDealer really needs to raise some quick funds to pay her rent and has some very good commission options posted on her page with options as low as like 25$ I think.
Like the art you see on my page and want some like it? She's responsible for a huge amount of it and is always a treat to work with. Help her out and get something cool for yourself too!

So I'm curious, how many of you has this happened to. This rant isn't aimed at any one particular artist either, It's happened multiple times and just seems to be a curse of this community.

You find an artist who does stuff you like. Their style is appealing, turnaround times seem pretty good and pricing is reasonable. So you place an order and up until having the money are very responsive and eager to get to it.

"I'll start on it tomorrow!"
Tomorrow turns to a week.. turns to three weeks. No real word on whats being worked on for me, but in the meantime they go and post a flood of new commission openings and YCHs.
Finally a sketch is recieved after inquiring about any amount of progress being made... Things are already off to a poor start, key details wrong or outright ignored and then long wait times between minimal corrections..

At what point does one just give up on it?

Just poking around for recommendations on artists who are good with taking an idea and turning it into a basic character reference illustration. I've had the idea stuck in my head for a while now of another character, large female, kinda thicc but nothing crazy. Anyone you folks recommend for such things whos open?

Anybody have any recommendations for artists that are open and are good with pooltoy stuff? Been kicking around the idea of getting a piece or two of my otter having fun with a big inflatable whale toy but have no idea who to try and commission.
