Blackouts in Kyiv are getting worse. I can't stay at my home anymore since inside it's almost as cold as outside (no electricity means no heating, no water, and no ability to cook food).
I'm moving from place to place a lot because of this. Carrying my laptop+tablet everywhere is difficult, and it's even more difficult to find any space i can place them to continue working.
The solution i found is to get a smaller, portable tablet that doesn't require to be connected to a pc/laptop, and can work from battery for longer. This will allow me to continue working in any conditions that life keeps throwing at us.
But
there's not enough money on my account... I need 200 USD more, opening 1-3 commission slots to cover it!

We're planning a secret Santa event for artists there (make art for each other, and get art back in return on winter holidays), if you're an artist and want to participate, join our server ^^ If you're not an artist, well, join anyway to chat and look at art!
!!! Server is adult-only, not because it's centered around adult content, but because it's just more comfortable for everyone.
I want to keep it semi-private to prevent creeps from joining and ruining everyone's mood, so i'm not going to post an invite here directly.
How to get an invite? Just text me! Here, or on twitter/telegram, it might be a bit slow, but i'll add everyone who wishes to.

Posted 3 years agoI woke up from explosions nearby. Again. Massive missile attack was launched at Ukrainian cities today, many people died, many cities were left without electricity and heat. I thought about waiting it out in the basement where it's safer, but i couldn't force myself to move. After more than half year of war, more than half year of horrifying air raids, and even more horrifying news from the frontlines... i think it broke something in me. I don't feel afraid, i don't feel anything to be honest, i should, and yet i don't.
I survived another day, just because i was lucky, if you can even call that state of life lucky. I'm sorry for aimlessly rambling about it all here, i just think it's important to not forget what is going on in Ukraine, to not forget what russia is doing to us every day.
Life has been on pause for so long, i can't start any new projects, i can't even find the strength to open new commission slots, because on the back of my mind every second there is an understanding that i might not live to see it getting finished. What if i'm forced to move to another place again? What if i get seriously injured again? And a thousand other thoughts that i can't block out.

Posted 3 years agoMe and a lot of other ukrainian artists made an additional FA account for selling art things ^^ it is very new, but we already have a few adopts and YCHes open.
Since FA limited the amount of reminders per account, a lot of smaller artists struggle to make their commissions seen. So we decided to create something that helps us promote each other's work. Basically it's an art shop where you can find everything in one place.

Posted 3 years agoHey there, i'm still alive. With a lot of luck we moved to a small village close to Lviv, for now it's safer to stay here. I still wake up during the nights because of siren sounds, but other than that this place is a lot more quiet than our previous one that is close to Kyiv.
Slowly but surely i'm starting to draw again (drawing conditions here aren't the best heh, obviously i left my desk and chair at home... i miss home). Very soon i'm going to open more commissions (we still have a bit of moneys, so it's not an emergency, but it will be if the war continues for more than a month).
Aaand also i lost my paypal. Because i used an account of my russian friend, and as you may know paypal got blocked in russia. (It's still not available in Ukraine either so i can't make my own acc). Instead, for commissions i will use Wise, Western Union, or swift. If you know other payment methods that you prefer (and that work in Ukraine) please let me know ♥

Posted 3 years agoMy family and i live in Kyiv. Today i woke up to messages asking if i'm still alive, my friends heard the sounds of explosions.
For now we are staying where we are, i don't have any resources to be able to move to a safer place. To those who commissioned art from me - please be patient, i probably will have to delay the completion of most work projects. i'm sorry.

I thought a commission form would be an easier way to know if slots are still open (it closes automatically when all slots are taken)

Posted 4 years agoHi everyone! Maybe you noticed that i'm not posting as much as before, the reason is i.. got a job. And it's occupying almost all of my time. And for the time that was left free there is uni. Wish i had a time machine or something.
I really enjoy posting my art here, reading your comments, talking to you. It's been a part of my life for a long time now and It feels really upsetting to just.. suddenly not have that anymore. So i'll try my best to find the time to make art here despite the circumstances.

As for commissions, i am very sorry to those whom i promised to open commissions next month, there will be no slots in the near future :<

Some good news after all, thanks to a friend I'll have a non-ukrainian paypal account for commissions (*´︶`*)
Also I found an alternative that works in Ukraine (payoneer), so this option is also available. I'm still looking for more permanent solutions and things might change later. But for now - comms open! I'll be glad to draw something for you again :3
