April Updates!
Posted 7 months agoWell heya everyone! Been a hot minute since I posted a journal/text post.
Just wanted to give an update on a few things so people know what's up <3
-Comms, as of April 5th, are closed. I do plan on reopening them later in the month, as long as Boo and I are able to keep up our current output.
-The YCW isn't abandoned. I know it's been... too long. But to make a very long story short, ever since my grandfather's passing during the height of the YCW, it's been really hard to dedicate enough time to it.
it's the biggest one to date, and I just didn't have a choice but to prioritize commission work and other content to get eyes on my gallery and just... improve. I've been stagnating for a while and the influx of poke-content has been helping tremendously. Doesn't help that I'm currently the only one bringing in money atm, on top of needing funds for taxes. BUT I am, slowly but surely, working on it. It'll be here eventually, thank you all so much for your patience <3
-Our next comic project, Penny's Hard Week, is currently in the scripting stage! It's another project that's slowly but surely getting worked on, but I am very excited to show y'all more Penny x Cynder shenanigans <3

Content Updates

Alright so, I posted about my current rl life happenings on Twitter, Bsky, and Discord, but haven't said much on sites like here. I might as well keep everyone up to date and in the know!
So my grandfather's health had been declining for a while, and on Christmas we got the news he didn't have long left. He passed away last week. The funeral was today. I'm currently in a weird state of grief and know that it's gonna take a while for things to feel normal.
That being said, I still plan on trying my darndest to get content out as much as I can. But I know it's gonna be slower than I'd like.
- Aiming for Annebelle's Adventure to continue up as soon as my partner's new tablet comes in (currently unsure, but within a week fingers crossed. She's been helping me to line/color, best assistant, love
you Boo!~)
- The YCW was planned for a late Jan release, and if not that, I'd REALLY like to be done before Valentine's day.
- Patreon updates for the new year are also pushed back, and I again don't have a good estimated date for 'em. Again, late Jan?
- Stream stuff is getting reworked. Springtime re-debut? Not sure!

Mini Hiatus!
Posted 3 years agoI announced this in my Discord the other day, but figured I should alert followers on all my socials too lol
Don't worry I'm okay! I just have an unfortunately crowded schedule ahead of me and need to take a bit of time off to focus on getting irl stuff taken care of. It's a lot to take in and due but just know I'm making a lot of progress on some really important shit!!
I'm hoping to be back within a week-week and a half. I'll also be uploading the rest of the Lewdtobers on here and NG over the next few weeks. I finished it, just got lazy and posted exclusively to Twitter after a bit lmao

Update/Where I've Been/Health/Etc
Posted 3 years agoNothing too serious!! Just wanted to give some sort of update outside of my Twitter (which is @/CorruptedCrypt btw)
Okay so the past month-ish hasn't been great health wise. I took a little time off mid-June for my birthday, but then had a bad set of flair ups involving my TMJ/Migraine issues that set be waaayyyy back.
Not much I can do about it other than taking pain meds and just riding it out, but that's fine I've accepted this is a thing I have to deal with lol.
Thought I got caught up with all my work and then got super sick again at the start of July!! Food poisoning this time, which for me is HELL (I have an annoyingly strong fear of vomiting/nausea)
Thankfully though that didn't last *too* long, just another few days that I got set back.
Recovered from that just to have my toilet break :')
However I am now a certified Dad because I fixed that bad boy!! I replaced screws and put things back together because the previous tenants/owners PUT THE TOILET TOGETHER WRONG
(That took a day, another set back but was honestly more funny than anything lol)
AAANnndddd now we get to one week ago. I get a little tickle in my throat. Tickle gets more painful. Tickle pairs up with a headache, body aches and chills. Fever. Severe cough, sinus congestion, chest pain. You get the picture. Yesterday was the first day in a week that I could actually act like a semi-functional person. But in the process of being a little bag of germs I got my partner sick too... so you know *pained laugh*
So enough unnecessary details, I've just been sick and annjoyed at being sick. June content will be dumped here over the next few days, fingers crossed I'll be okay enough soon.

Posted 4 years agoTDLR; I'm unemployed and feel like garbage all the time and would really like to stop feeling like garbage. May content is gonna be delayed also.
Okay so… here’s the thing. I haven’t been doing okay lately. I haven’t been doing okay in a while actually. I’ve tried to write this whole spiel out over and over again but I keep getting frustrated at my inability to describe why it’s been hard. I suppose the best way I can get the point across is that one year ago today, I graduated from college. All I wanted after was to get my foot in the door and have some kind of creative job. Maybe someday I could publish my own comics and be stable on that income if I got lucky. But then the plague came and wiped out my already miniscule chances of getting that stability.
Keeping this to a minimum, this past year has been rough. I’ve wrestled with clinical depression and anxiety/panic disorders the majority of my life and having a year of failures hasn’t exactly helped with me feeling okay about myself. It’s been so goddamn hard trying to manage well… everything. The reason content has been slow and inconsistent is because I’ve been burnt out for months. It just feels like no matter how much I overwork myself and how much I try, I can’t get anywhere.
But droning on and on about how much I hate myself isn’t the point of this point. The point is to say that I’m so fucking tired of feeling like this. I’m so done with having no energy to do things my mind labels as pointless, and certain recent events have led me to new conclusions of sorts.
Basically, I’m done waiting on someone else to look at me and my work and say “Okay, I’ll take a chance on you.” I’m tired of struggling to keep my head above water and I’ve realized that it’s time to stop screaming at the people on the boat passing by to give me a hand. Fuck it, I’ll just do it myself. It’s gonna suck trying to keep swimming in this ice cold water, but I've been doing it this long. I’ll keep treading water until something happens.
May content is gonna be a little late. On top of the stress previously mentioned I’ve been going through some physical medical issues too. I’ll do my best to get things to everyone when I can, but I’m tired of lying and saying that I’m okay through a fake smile and gritted teeth. I’m not happy with where I am right now. But some of the projects I took on a while ago to fill the void are ending soon, meaning I have more time to dedicate to Club Lamashtu and other content. The paychecks coming from those projects will make it harder, but who knows, maybe I can turn this dumb comic about fucking monsters into a makeshift life preserver.
Had it not been for the unexpected support I’ve already gotten thus far I would have drowned by now. I have an opportunity and I’ll be damned if I don’t see my one shot at doing something with my life and take it. So thank you for the support, no matter the kind. I hope I can make you all proud soon, and that I can produce something worthy of all your kindness and support. I want to stop letting my own self disappointment and currently unrealistic goals keep me pinned, and I hope to see you all there when I eventually can.

Onto the news, my Patreon revamp is now live! Now knowing my own limits and wants, I edited the tiers and rewards to something I think fits better now.

The power came back on a few hours after I posted that last update, but the internet hasn't been up or very stable until now.
So I apologize to those who commented or messaged me, I wanted to conserve what data/power I did have. I'll try to get back to everyone as soon as I can!
The house got kinda cold there for a while, but it wasn't anything a normal hoodie couldn't fix. But because of that the food in the fridge lasted longer than I had thought!
I still have/had to replace some stuff, but we don't need to clear it out, so no emergency commissions are needed.
Normal commissions are still open, I'm currently remaking my commission sheet to combine all the things I'm open to do (Have normal drawings, pin ups, ref sheets, comics, etc etc all on one sheet)
So... Yeah! Back to business as usual. If all things go the way I'd like I should (*knock on wood* x100) have my Patreon rework done by the end of the month and I'll have a CL upload schedule.
Oh, and more strip comics! Look forward to that ^^

Posted 5 years agoQuick update: the power has been out for over 16 hours now. I'm in the PNW and if you're in the US I'm sure you've heard of the huge ass rain storm that has been hitting us for like a week.Then the river in the sky last night, it was brutal. Thankful to still have phone signal. Will update again once the power is back on because I suspect I'll need to open emergency commissions to restock the fridge.

YCW Update/Delay + Merry Christmas
Posted 5 years agoI really didn't want to do this, and I'm really sorry I'm letting everyone down, but I'm gonna have to delay the Your Character Where another day or two. I put too much on my plate this month and burnt myself out/went too hard. But that's not an excuse, just a reason. I'm going to put 200% of my effort into finishing it up as soon as I can. The background is fully finished and I have a little over half the characters fully done, so like I said before I really want to have this up asap, but it'll probably be another day or two at least. I think I fucked up my wrist meaning I slowed down my production speed.
I'm really sorry again, but I hope that a belated Christmas/Holiday present is acceptable :'3

December Update

BUT ANYWAY HERE'S MY CURRENT TO-DO LIST!
- Get a new YCW up soon, this time winter/Christmas themed! So look forward to that!
- CL pages! I'm *aiming* for the first one to be uploaded on the 13th, but I don't want to jinx myself by saying for sure.
- Finish my current commission queue. It may take me an extra week or so but I do plan to reopen early-mid December.
I'm planning to be back to full speed around the 2nd (of December) or so. I just got my tablet/desk set up and now finally have internet and really need the next few days to keep unpacking/unwinding before getting into the busy busy end of the year.

Your Character Where Slot Spreadsheet
Posted 5 years agoHowdy everyone! I just wanted to share a link to a spreadsheet I've made to help everyone see what slots are available and which ones aren't.

A few notes:
A slot that's green means it's available.
A slot that's red means that the slot is reserved. Someone has either asked for it specifically or I have assigned a random slot number. Either a username or "random" will appear next to the slot to indicate who claimed it.
A slot that is totally greyed out (number and name) means that whoever has paid for the slot. Red means reserved, not bought yet.
If you look at the sheet and see "random" next to a slot you wanted, then I can move that reservation to a different slot if requested.
If you're worried that by choosing randomly that you'll get stuck with a less than desirable slot (those that are mostly just headshots, those facing away from the camera, etc), then don't worry. I don't expect every single slot to be filled (I mean, that would be awesome but you know), and plan to fill out any unclaimed slots with my own OCs. I'll give you a good one, don't worry!

Commissions Closed, Little Update

I wanted to put a little notice out that all my commissions are now closed. Though if you wanted to get something from me, I plan to reopen in June! I'm closing them now because I'm going to be starting my final quarter at college soon, and I'll need to put as much attention into my final major class as I can. As for the commissions currently in my queue (& the comm requests I haven't sent an invoice for yet), I want to try and have them finished by late March. After my current quarter is over, I'll have a week off to work on them as much as I can, so *fingers crossed* I can manage to get through them all by then!
I also wanted to ask if anyone thinks I should set up one of those public commission queues (I forget what it's called, but its a site where people can see your queue and see the progress you're making). I worry so much about taking a long time on my commissions, I want to be as transparent as I can.
I know everyone does this, but I wanted to thank everyone for continuing to support me even though I've been pretty inactive. I keep wanting to work on more art and Club Lamastu, but college and life events out of my control keep taking priority. I'm so damn excited to almost be done with my degree, meaning even if we continue to move every couple of months, 70% of my energy won't be pushed towards classwork, so I'll have the chance to work on this stuff even if I am busy with other things.
My Patreon will probably continue to be a but barren until June, but I really want to put more effort into it once the time is right. If anyone is interested though, here's a link to it:
