Help this guy out
Posted 14 years agoYo guys,
I'm writing to say that an artist on here whom I watch has come up against difficult times, and he really needs some support.
Here's his most recent journal:
http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/2659147/
He's in need of getting some money to keep himself going, so if you can, spread the word of this and either commission him, or donate whatever you can to help him out.
Thank you.

The results are in
Posted 14 years agoHey guys, just giving a very quick update.
I have received today the results from my summer exams and my overall grades today at my school.
I have got straight C's in my A-levels, which is not too bad, yet I feel I could've done better.
And it was when I was getting my results that I was informed that two letters have arrived, one from UCAS (the service which processes university places and grade release), and one from Hertfordshire University.
The UCAS letter had informed me that I have got a place at Hertfordshire University! 8D *fanfares*
And the Herts Uni letter showed me about my sccommodation, which is the accommodation that I wanted! ^w^
So today has been a very good day. ^^

Are you a Lightsider? Or a Darksider?
Posted 14 years agoSince I've been thinking about Worms, and playing Worms 2: Armageddon, I've started this little questionnaire to see if you're a Lightside wormer, or a Darkside wormer.

I'm back guys!
Posted 14 years agoI'm back from Cornwall! And it's good to be back! ^^
We all stayed in a little house directly by the beach, in a nice little bay. ^^ In a little house called the Nook, next door to another called the Cranny (joke).
However, the Nook is not suited for people of heights greater than 6 feet (i'm 6 foot 5) as the doorways are small! and you have to watch your head on low hanging beams. I banged my head about 5 times during the week. So yeah... ouch.
On the upside, we all got some great surf at the bay. I'm personally a bodyboarder, and even got some nice long runs in as well. We did get some fairly decent weather in as well which is good. ^^
Anyway, I've got requests to get to work on, so I'll catch y'all later!

Posted 14 years ago...Summer Holiday. ^^
Hey guys. I'm going to be heading off to Cornwall sunday morning with my family for a week's holiday. ^^
We'll be living in a nice little cottage beside a beach, and my mum will try to get some surf in, or even make us do some sort of surfing. Personally I prefer bodyboarding.
Anyway, I shall be taking my laptop with me so I can do some stuff such as work on requests, and even get to doing some personal art, coz I NEED to do some. I'll also be writing an article for my friend's blog called;
The Gamer's Post
He's started up a video-game blog, and has written the first article, so please do have a look. You can find it here. -> http://thegamerspost-thearcadiagamer.blogspot.com/ <-
I'll be contributing an article in the future, and I intend to write it up during my holiday. ^^
ALSO!
Due to my recent pruchase of Worms 2: Armageddon on PS3 plus the Battle Pack, I have thought of doing Worms icons either as requests or maybe for a small price. Maybe $5 an icon.
Let me know if you're interested.
Anyway, that's all from me. See you all in a week!

Updates: Exams over and bikes!
Posted 14 years agoHello everyone!
I know I haven't been updating ver frequently well that's because I'm crap at doing it frequently. Anyway, I have news!
First off, all my exams are officially over! So no more studying for me! So I can get on with doing other stuff, like finishing the requests I have got!
And worrying whether or not I'll be able to get my place at University.
Fingers crossed. ^u^;;
On another note, which you may not know, I have the ownership of a Piaggio 50cc scooter, which I have used for nearly 2 years now. It's a great little thing.
But recently, I learned that my friend was selling his motorbike, a Honda CBF125, and it just happened to catch my interest. And since I am 18, I am allowed to ride a 125 motorbike
(125 refers to the engine capacity, as 125cc)
So I popped over to his, and took a nice look at it, even had a sit on it. and it's a good little bike I must say. ^w^ So after some discussions with him, my mother and his dad, we have now made a deal. And it is mine. >W<!
Got it for a good £1,200 which is a very decent price for a 125. It has one mirror missing, but it's easily replacable.
And once I get some new boots and a full-face helmet, I may take it out on its maiden ride (for me. It has been ridden before, but this is my first ride on it, so there).
Anyway, that's all from me! Enjoy yourselves! ^w^

What the Doctor Who just happened?
Posted 14 years agoHi guys!
Okay, I've just finished watching the new Doctor Who at my friend's house, and I think we just encountered one of the biggest plot twists AND surprises I have ever seen throughout the entire Doctor who series since David Tennant first appeared.
I won't give away any huge giveaways of the series, but this episode finally reveals the true identity of Amy's daughter. And believe me, it will nearly blow your mind when you discover.
Watch the recent episode on BBC iPlayer if you're keen to find out.

Updates!
Posted 14 years agoFirst off, I have officially had my last day of official school! So no more school! WOO!
Other than that I do have exams coming up so I will need to revise for those. Damn.
Anyway, I've been busy making a cake for my friend's party today. Since he and I both love the Portal games, I decided to make a cake just like the one from the first game. ^w^ That'll bring a smile to his face.
I am trying to get into the mood of more drawing, ad I still do have some requests that I must finish, and I'm also intending to get some character reference sheets done for some of my characters that I've created.
Finally, I'd really REALLY like to do some art commissions during my study leave. Mainly because I want to be artistically busy, plus I want to get started on earning some extra money too when I head off to Uni. IF I head off to Uni.
Anyway, that's all from me. Have a nice day! ^w^

I've got PayPal!
Posted 14 years agoHey guys, me again.
I've managed to get myself onto the PayPal website, and have got an account up and running. I'm thinking of starting commissions so I can earn some money for when I head off to Uni, if I have to pay off any debts.
I might not be able to take commissions right now, as I have a truckload of work to do for my summer exams.
I've already thought of some prices to those of you who might be interested:
(these are per character included in each commission)
Sketches - $5
Lineart - $10 (plus $2.50 for manga-style shading)
Full colour (both digital and traditional) - $15 (plus $5 for a background)
Chibi - Half price
Adult - Double price
Anyway, I won't start them yet until my PayPal account's fully ready.
Special thanks to
Miley-Mouse for the account setup help!
If you're interested in a commission, send me a note, with what you want drawn, including reference sheets if necessary, and I'll give you my account details when ready.
Don't worry, I'll still do requests and trades etc.

It's all good!
Posted 14 years agoHeya guys! Me again.
I've got my new PC back from the repair shop, and it's as good as new! ^w^ Unfortunately I lost all my data before so I'll have to reinstall programs and re-transfer data again, but I'm glad I have my old PC. So I'm gonna do extra backups once everything's sorted.
The total cost was £189.60, including £70 for the new hard drive.
But now my lesson's learnt, and I won't do it again.
Anyway, back to doing stuff. ^w^

I suck at everything.
Posted 14 years agoI'm very disappointed and cross with myself today. I really am.
What I have done is something I could probably never forgive myself for.
I was on my new computer trying to edit a picture in photoshop, but things kept happening, and I got majorly cross with it, and brought my fist hard down on it. Right on top of the hard drive.
So now I've fucked up my hard drive, AND the operating system too. Which means I'll have lost everything. T^T
I am sorely ashamed, pissed off, cross, depressed, and all sorts of emotions.

Atlas! This is what they said.
Brave and up for anything-you like adventure and nothing scares you. You value friendship highly. Your ideal cooperative partner would be inquisitive and sensitive.

Audio journal?
Posted 14 years agoI've had an idea of making an audio journal then submitting it as music.
Tell me what you think of it.
I am thinking of adding small music bits to it too (as in self composed stuff).
Anyway, tell me what you think.

I'm back!
Posted 14 years agoI'm back from my tour in Holland, and it was... pretty good. Very enjoyable.
On the Friday, we did a lot of travelling on the coach from where we normally rehearse to Dover, then catch a ferry to Calais and then head all the way through France and Belgium to reach Holland. We reached the hostel near Utrecht where we were staying, and we all checked into our rooms, then had to do a brief choir rehearsel which none of us wanted to. =_=
The second day, we had a short stay in for the morning, then we headed off on the coach to spend some of the day in Utrecht (apparently there were pickpockets, but I don't think any of us were victims). We went in small groups, and my group just walked through the town, visited a church with 5 organs in it, and had a lunch at a McDonald's. =_= Then later, we all headed off on the coach to a church in Weert, where we were to have a concert with another choir group called Vivace. It all went very well. ^^
Third day, we had to get up early and ready to attend a Sunday Service (in Dutch) at a different church in a place I can't remember the name of, and then we headed off to Medemblik where our final concert took place. We all had a break before we had to rehearse, so all the choir members (including me) just walked around town, and we even began singing in the town, and were soon dissed by a group of tall geezers. I knew it was a bad idea to sing in the street from the start. But later, we had a rehearsel, then final preparations, and the last concert went very well. ^^
On the final day, we were travelling back to England on the coach, and me and Luke (a choir member) were duelling each other in New Super Mario Bros on our DS'. XD It was absolutely funny and thrilling. Occasionally he'd pick up a super shroom and grow to a giant, and I'd be running like hell screaming, 'NOOOOO! GO AWAY!' But I kept beating him =w= 5 times to be exact.
Anyway, it was an awesome trip, and I'm glad to be back.

I'm going away for the weekend.
Posted 14 years agoThat's right! I'm going to be away for a very short while.
See, I'm in the County Youth Choir, and a couple of dozen of us are going to do a tour in Holland (including me). We're going to stay in a place called Utrecht in a hotel, and then do a couple of concerts on the weekend, then come back on the monday.
I'll be up early in the morning, to be at the place of departure by 7:30 am GMT. So I'm gonna get an early night in.
Oh, and Happy Easter to all! ^w^

Story Idea
Posted 14 years agoA big ferry full of thousands of people gets struck by a mysterious force in the ocean. The ferry is only struck at its lower most level and is sunk, and left to settle with nearly a thousand people trapped inside, with only a limited supplies of oxygen, food and water.
However, something else is amiss. Strange biological activity has taken place on the sea bed where the ferry lies, and is now spreading onto the vessel. What is this strange virus substance? And will it affect the people trapped on board?
Only four well-equipped soldiers are sent down to the ferry via a special submarine. They are equipped with silenced pistols and uzis, and secondary weapons such as assault rifles. They are packed with extra ammo, and special devices for detection, communication and so on. Their task seems simple enough. Rescue the survivors on each floor and bring them to the surface as quickly as possible. However, this newly found virus is spreading faster and faster across the ferry. They must act quickly.
As the submarine makes a secure gateway to one of the ferry entrances, everywhere is dark. Their only source of light comes from their torches. But they can hear other things on board. Strange clicking and high-pitched echoes. Taking deep breaths, they carefully make their way through the darkness...
Just a story I had thought of a while back, based on a couple of dreams I had, which I found quite scary too.
Tell me what you think of it. ^w^

Suggestions for new submissions... maybe.
Posted 14 years agoHey y'all! Wazzup?
Okay, something I had om my mind today was looking back at some old pieces of art I did some time ago, and felt like doing some revamping of them, ad in making new versions.
Some of them might be a little mature, but I hope that's ok. ^^
Another idea that came to mind was that I had created these lesbian characters for a girl group I made called Kutie Katz, which basically features the girls together in sexy and pornographic scenarios.
So I was just wondering if you guys thought it was ok for me to do some pics like that, or, if you have any ideas for stuff I could do in the not-too-distant future.
I'd greatly appreciate the suggestions and comments. ^w^
Ciao!
