I'm gonna make this short, there's a longer journal on my new page.
As some of you have seen in previous posts, I've felt very disconnected from this name for years, and it's getting to the point I'm feeling disconnected from this website because of it.

This name was something I came up with as a kid, and now that I've determined a definite name for me and my brand as an adult, that's what I want to be known as universally

On Character Design Commissions! I currently do two types of character designs,

Collaboration - $60 (plus reference price)
You and I work as a team to develop a palette, choose a fitting species, marking types, body type and more! To develop the perfect character for you!
See Abbadon's ref for an example of this.

Semi-Freedom - $35 (plus reference price)
I will give you a hints form to fill out to give me a list of species options, color options, likes and dislikes of yours and you may also send me various inspiration for said character! Using the hints I'll develop a character I think suits you!

Hello everyone!

Wanted to let you all know that I will be taking some commissions VERY soon!
I will most likely start with Gouache works and Gouache badges, as well as Digital Icons. These types will likely be taken in small batches and finished quickly.

As for longer form commissions, I will likely take Reference Sheet Commissions as a 1 at a time basis and try to get through them as quickly as I can!

I will have the next few weeks completely free so I plan on filling the time with commission work, to fund some personal projects!

So i've posted this on my twitter and such trying to feel out opinions on this, and wanted to hear input from you guys on here as well!


As stated in my previous journal, I'd like to add aspects of Custom Designs to my commissions and specifically as add-ons to Reference sheet commissions.
I have been thinking about perhaps maybe doing a huge raffle (or low key contest of sorts). relating to this

The winner would be getting a full package, all aspect character design commission, that I will be using as an all around commission sample (for various minor commission types).
I would be doing this as a way to test out my draft prices and time estimates, as well as to have fully fleshed, organic commission samples for multiple commission add-on types. If my estimations are correct, this could easily be a $200+ value to the winner as it would be full on design of all character aspects, as well as a full reference sheet for the character.

The only real draw back I have been able to think of is, obviously, the amount of work this will require.
I did have one suggestion so far that I was hoping to hear opinions on, someone was saying to offer it as a raffle but the winner will pay something VERY small (like $5) to have a level of quality / serious entry control.


so overall, opinions, thoughts? Throw some pros and cons at me that may I haven't thought of!

I don't have all the fine details worked out yet but, wanted to let you guys know early on I plan on a sub type addition to my ref sheet commissions! Will be an add on fee for various custom made design options!

Been working diligently on developing commission prices and options and sample images and etc and SO ON! In hopes to be set-up for doing commissions again in the near-ish future.

One major update I wanted to clue you guys in on my reference sheets:
I will be changing them up a teeny bit to have a bit more of a standardized type. They will still be very much so customizable and will -at least I hope- actually have a much clearer process and being able to include a thorough amount of material in each and every reference sheet! :D


As a final note, on commission openings.
I'm still a very busy panda and have been only sporadically taking commissions. I don't plan on opening officially until I have a clearly laid out price sheet and samples I feel comfortable using.
HOWEVER: I intend on opening up again, at the latest around summertime this year!

Until then, YCH's and occasional other options will continue! ^^

So some exciting news regarding one of many projects of mine that I've been dying to share with you all; I've been working on a TON of different designs and series/collections for Enamel Pins...!

While I have tons of ideas I'd love to bring to life, I currently have one pin design I plan on funding production for via Kickstarter!
I will be posting sequentially more information, teasers and more concrete plans over the next few weeks. The base plan at the time being is to launch the Kickstarter sometime in early March! c: Soon!

A few quick little notes to all you out there!

Second: Spent the last TWO DANG HOURS (holy heck) completely overhauling my folders in my gallery. They are all now neat and tidy and I'm much happier with it now. A pain in the ass but worth. You guys can view art by specific types and styles, like sketches vs digital color, and there are now some folders for a couple main characters of mine! I felt they deserved a little love c:

In addition, I have also in general cleaned up my profile and gallery a tad, updated my list of sites I try to post on and so on and so forth. Just in general really try to get more clean cut, organized, professional and just really try to keep up to date with posting and maintaining the various pages I post to.

Next Semester there may be a rare possibility of semi-regular free time- just not 100% sure when yet.

Been debating on if I want to set up a regularly weekly stream during said free time. Something to keep me in touch with art, y'know? And something regular and schedule to keep me on top of it, and not cast it to the side in times of stress. It's supposed to be stress relieving for me, y'know? I feel like it could be potentially therapeutic to have scheduled time to just. Sit and art. I have the whole set-up now so I kinda feel just. Weird not using it.

I guess this is more of a notice on that than anything, haha. If I get the chance to do it, it will be alternating Tuesdays and Fridays in accordance with my internship schedule (where I will prolly stream for a period in my morning time and then again for a bit at night) OR it will be Wednesdays at one set time, prolly around 3-5pm est time.

Things have been so. Weird I guess that past few months to top off some especially weird few years.
It feels as though taking a break from art to survive through school maybe gave me the opportunity to step back and look at everything in a different light. And because of that i've noticed major flaws in the way I was functioning in the art world, and because of THAT now that I have time again to get back into the scene, I feel insanely disconnected from what it/I/my art was. Like i'm trying to pick up where a different person left off.

I'm really not happy with how things had gone previously in regards to my interaction with the art world, with my art period honestly. I've been inconsistent, i've changed my art from practically piece to piece and kinda made a mess of it, I've made promised I struggled to keep, I've made promises to myself that may as well have been empty words. Artwork for me has always been an escape but now that i'm looking at it and feeling like there was someone else behind all that, it's more of a battle i'm trying to win and, that's kinda exhausting haha. I'm fighting off enough bullshit in the real world, why would I wanna do that here too? That's how it started to feel even before I took a break but, I couldn't exactly pinpoint why.

And that brings me to a HUGE main point that I feel is holding me back and dragging me down, that I am CONSTANTLY thinking about anytime I touch art; the name on this damn account. When I first made this account I already felt disconnected from this username, it was kinda from another place and time in my life but. I didn't have anything better, anything else I connected with.
It kinda feels like i've been beating a dead horse for years using an account with this name. And I honestly don't know what to do about it. But at the same time, I feel like making that change would be a HUGE step away from this funk i'm in, y'know?

I truly wish I could just. Even pay someone on this damned site to just get a username change. I'm comfortable here. But at the same time, dropping it and starting a whole fresh account has gotten so much more tempting. But I don't even know how people do that. That's a scary amount of change and work to me O.o
Like. im following 1400 PEOPLE, what am i gonna do, refollow them all? YEAH I wanna keep watching them all, and that would take ages, good lord.
I'm really not sure what to do. In any event SOME sort of overhaul is needed. I dunno. I guess we can see what 2018 ends up being for me? xD

Wanted to post real quick to thank all of those collectively who have followed me in the past few days, as well as over the last few months. I had gotten rusty/lost track on thanking everyone personally but I want to make my appreciation known

I also want to apologize for the very slim and sporadic activity. Been very busy but i'm definitely still around and still lurking. Been practicing and trying to hone my skills a bit with what small bursts of time I've had rather than attempt full drawings that I know I don't have the time I need to complete / dedicate to.
I do have a break coming up that i'm very much so in need of, hoping to work on some fuller pieces during that time, stay tuned! And thank you all again for deciding to watch me recently and thank you to those who have stuck around! :3

A public PSA to those whom may be concerned:

I would say my life is falling apart but to be totally honest it’s been going downhill for years and it’s finally getting to a point where I can A) Change it or B) Lose it. And to be totally honest, there’s too many people relying on me for me to give up completely. Because of something so simple as a window not actually having a latch to open is the only reason the one person I value more than anything is still alive after this week. We’ve realized we can’t do this any longer.
We’re going to be changing a lot of things, but I’ll let you know the key thing that matters to you guys: Once I clear out my queue, the easiest way to say this is 99% of the time, I won’t be accepting commissions any longer, until I’ve had the time to improve my current situation and health.
In RARE circumstance, I’d be willing to accept commissions from certain commissioners. I’ll be making a list of whom I will be allowing. Additionally, in equally rare circumstance I will post a commission offer that I am capable of/in the mood for/in need of taking/etc. I MAY post ych’s rarely as they are easier for me to handle.

I’ve been far too selfless my whole life, I’ve always been far too busy focusing on what I can do for others and not what I can do for myself. I’m realizing that as much as I want to fight it, I can’t do good for anyone if I can’t keep myself together, because I’m quite literally dying.
My accounts will STILL be used, as I have a backlog of works I have been unable to post, and in addition I still NEED to do artwork as its majorly therapeutic for me, I will just be posting personal and general works.
My apologies if this doesn’t make a lot of sense, my apologies if this displaces anyone in anyway and I am also incredibly sorry for those who have been waiting and those that I’ve been incapable of replying too. I am still horrible at replying but I am going to be trying my hardest to verbalize with you all. My bad. REALLY sorry.
