So...
For some reason unbeknownst to me I’ve been struggling WAAAY more than I’m comfortable with with my artwork and with completing pieces in a fairly timed manner. I know you guys are so awesome and say you dont mind the waits but, I feel like I've been incredibly unfair to my commissioners making them wait extended periods of time.... So I feel as though it would be hugely beneficial to me to make some temporary changes in hopes of getting back in control.

So for an undefined, but definitely temporary period of time I will be doing the following:

- No longer accepting general digital commissions
- Cutting down my digital ref sheet queue from 3 at a time to 1 at a time.
- Will be mainly focusing on and offering commissions in traditional mediums
- Doing a hell of a lot more personal work. Actually start moving on projects and ideas I’ve more or less had to abandon for.... whatever reason.



I will still be accepting commissions during this period, it will just be less common and I’ll be keeping my workload much smaller. The types of commissions that are going to be available for the time will be mainly:

- Traditional Sketches and Shaded Sketches
- Button Commissions
- Furvilla Painties, annndd
- Digital Reference Sheets

I am also very interested in potentially adding new and "experimental" traditional commission types, such as paint or chalk commissions. ...My Nana has passed away very recently and as she and I were the only people in my family that were artists, I've more or less been allowed to have an amount of her art supplies, many of which are mediums I haven't touched in a long loonngg time... I plan on putting them too good use and making some cool stuff with them to share with you all ;)

Now to get away from the bad news, ill throw on top some good news for you guys as well, a little list of personal stuff I plan on working on and hopefully you will start seeing a lot of in my gallery! This will included I hope all of the following to some capacity...

- General character art
- Graphic Novel concept art
- porn
- Short character comics, like one offs and stuff!
- Sketch animations
- animated porn
- My damn graphic novel. Don’t be surprised I start posting a lot of wips for this.


Soooo uh, yeah.
Hopefully I can get the hang of this again. Commissions will still be announced via journal and I will be absolutely sure to make another journal when I'm interested in taking on more digital commissions! (At which point I plan to have much better examples, as well as painted commission options ;3)
Oh, and just for clarification: This will obviously in no way affect current commissions. All current work will still be completed as normal regardless of this announcement.

Got back from Anthrocon late last night, whoo! Was incredibly relaxed this year, I was very surprised. Was nice to have a vacation for once, I must admit. But, now that im home and unpacked its about time to get back to work. Commission work will be resuming as normal ^^ Im expecting to get everyone an update sometime this week! ;D

Im pretty excited, ive been waiting for the site since last years Anthrocon, very glad to hear they are finally starting up! Been getting work done slowly on commissions since Eternalcon has ended. I've realized there's a few people I haven't replied to properly and I will likely be doing that late tonight.

I've also got some tiny projects I'm working on in the background, the biggest one is gearing up for Anthrocon and my first artist alley there, commission examples and all that jazz. That, as well as been making some test telegram stickers to see how I would do them, and working on a new commission type me and danigrillo came up with that will be available at anthrocon ;) Expect to see some posts about that periodically the next 2 weeks!

Hey there! Been at eternalcon all weekend with danigrillo and we're in the last day! It's been great so far, looking forward to the adventures we'll have today!

Past few weeks have been... so... weird. But! Just wanted to post a lil announcement that I'm getting through it and I will be opening commissions very soon! I would safely say in about 5-10 days from now (Just dont have an exact date yet! Will add that in my journal footer in the next day or so)

As for losses, ive only lost a few submissions and a handful of watchers. Sucks, but I guess it cant be helped. Will be reposting the lost artwork likely tomorrow!

Just wanted to post a follow up from a previous journal, today was my last day til summer break whoo! The rest of my week is going to be a solid alteration between finishing up my (long overdue) ref sheet commissions and sleeping.

It the next week or two I can prolly have re-couped some of my sanity enough to post an -official- date I can finally re-open commissions. As stated several times before, it will not be before my current queue is finished, though.

My school semester is almost over, I've only got 6 more in-school days left. Lots of finals, lots of projects, so many tests... This semester has been such a rollercoaster, and it's clear now how stressed I've made myself as it seems my alopecia has come back... Luckily its only one small spot of hair loss, and I've only noticed it -after- the peak in stress so maybe if im luckily, no more will fall out.

In the art world however... things are going much better!
Getting through my queue, everyone should have received a final piece (ych people, looking at you ;3), or at least an update in the past few days. (The only exception is @furryjosh, still need to send you the sketch! :O) At this point all I have left is lining + coloring on the ref sheets. I have a lot of opportunities the next few days to get a lot of work done, so updates will be more often and things will be completed very, very soon ^^

Hey guys, I wanted to be able to address you guys all in one go, just wanted to give you a lil heads up that the past week and a half or so have been really hectic for me, as I may have mentioned to some of you privately. So many apologies if you haven't heard from me! I have not forgetting about you guys though, not for a second c;
Personal life and school sorta exploded at me so it had to be dealt with, and unfortunately I haven't had the opportunity to progress on my work. However, things have finally cooled down and im getting back into it. I'm gonna work on having a progress update for each of you within the week! ^^

Just a reminder/confirming something, there will definitely not be any public opportunities to get a work from me until after April 22nd!
(If I do have time for extra work, that will be used for people added to my ref sheet wait-list prior to today.)

Been thinking of a few things that probably deserve separate journals, but im gonna make a big journal to cover all the things I've been thinking anyway:

Between already due works, school projects and conventions, I have set a commission opening date a bit further in the future than I have this year. I can almost guarantee I will be un-able to open prior to April 22nd (and if I have a chance to I will probably use that to post ych's instead) mainly due to personal-work-life junk and the need to prep for conventions. I am - however - making a point to be completely done with my current queue before then so! I should be able to open up quite a few slots and perhaps some ref sheet slots as well!
Commission work has been quite slow this week, but no ones piece has gone untouched for too long, promise! If you do have any questions/concerns about your commission or just want an update you are always welcome to note me!



Speaking of "conventions"...
Thanks to friend/fellow artist Danigrillo i've been getting the opportunity to experience dealing at cons, sort of learn the art of it! I've got Kids Comic Con coming up towards the end of this month that I need to get into gear for. On top of that, we are also planning to be at Eternal Con in June!

Also worth mentioning, Laelap and I will be going to Anthrocon again this year! I had purchased the registration months again and had failed to mention it ovo The year has really snuck past me, as I kinda just realized there's only 3 more months until the con...!
That being said, this year will likely be another casual visit for us. I have signed up for the artist alley but im not guaranteed a spot nor am I positive I would go or not if I had one. Any of you guys gonna be at AC this year? Would you be interested in seeing me in the Artists Alley if you are?



As far as personal work goes, I've been drawing a lot more of it then I've been posting.
This is mainly due to the fact that, well... I haven't really been finishing much of my personal works, im not sure if im just getting bored of it through the process, if im too busy for it or, maybe im just satisfied with the sketches and ideas and end up with little drive to make a full piece out of it.
...
It could also be because like, 90% of it is suggestive or straight up porn, and im still fairly shy about posting that sort of content of my personal characters O//w//O

Perhaps i'll have a day I just dump a bunch of sketches on you guys ;)

7 watchers away from 750...! :D To celebrate I will be doing a freebie stream, where i'll raffle chances to get something like a sketch or something like that. I debated for a bit prior to posting it if I should have the auction for the whole piece, or for each character. I ended up making it a bid for each slot, and am realizing perhaps that wasn't the fairest choice for bidders.
My question for you guys, and especially towards those who are bidding is would you prefer me to repost the ych so that you can bid for it as a whole piece, as opposed to for each character? Or should I leave it as it is currently?

Seeing as this post was fairly late in the day I have decided to sleep it over to wait for more responses, however it seems the opinion is fairly split on what to do, that and the auction has progressed a bit so...
For this particular YCH I will be leaving it as is with each slot separate. But! I now know for sure what to consider next time posting a ych like that one!

As per a few suggested, I may sometime down the line make another YCH of a similar theme to auction as a whole ^^

Hey guys! I'm looking to hear your input on some things that are coming up soon!

The first thing is I have been come up with concepts for large, multiple character YCH's, I'd safely say they would have 5-10 characters in them and all slots would be sold individually of course.
My first question is concerning "Background Characters" that do and will occur in these. In the larger ych's there's generally gonna be more "main" characters that will be larger/more centered/the focus of the piece, and the BG chars will be more for atmospheric involvement.

I wanted to ask how you guys would prefer to see BG chars be priced: The focus characters in large pieces will be auction style no matter what, but I've got two options for the others.
Option 1. Auction style like the focus characters. They would have very low starting bids, and would all have an auto-buy price, that would also be fairly low, ooorr
Option 2. Flat prices. BG chars will get a pre set price and would be basically comment to claim/first come first serve style. This would probably be a price between the theoretical SB and AB price mentioned above, leaning more towards the AB.



Now, the other thing i'm looking for opinions on... Welp, my next watcher milestone is coming up and I'll be holding something for you guys to get some free stuff as a thank you!

What I was wondering on this was, would you prefer I do this like I've done most of my free art give-aways, by posting a raffle journal with a few fully worked prizes and you'll have an amount of time to enter and so on. OR Would you guys want me to to do something more like a freebie stream on picarto? This would def have to be planned ahead a little more as it would be one day for a few hours, more people would likely be able to get something BUT the trade off is the works will likely only be sketches or colored sketches!

So? Answer away! I wanna know what you guys think! ;D

Another quick heads up, kinda got bombarded with mid-terms and papers from school, and haven't gotten to make much progress on my current commission queue this past week.
